Brad Stuver is undoubtedly the player of the first two months at Austin FC. Episode 66  Learning to love the person, as well as the athlete.  Jason Brown played over 200 matches as a professional footballer. He has played in the premier league, as well as representing his country, coaching at Arsenal Ladies, and managing in South East Asia. The list of players he has played alongside includes David Bentley, Brad Friedel, Gary Speed, and Gareth Bale. When Jason looks back at his footballing career he can rightly do so with pride. But there remains a sadness to the time Jason spent as a footballer. Ač se ve studiu sešla sestava, která londýnskou Chelsea zrovna nemusí, shodla se na verdiktu, že vítězný gól Belgičana Tielemanse z Leicesteru ve finále FA Cupu platit neměl. Bývalou reprezentantku, dnes trenérku Blanku Pěničkovou, zaskočilo, že bránící Ayoze Pérez vystrčenou rukou jasně zvětšil „prostor těla“ a že se o sporné situaci nevedla přímo na ploše větší debata. Hostitel Angličana Jiří Hošek podotkl, že se ani drtivá většina mediálních reportáží o prestižním zápase hraném před 22.000 diváky sporné situaci nevěnovala tak, jak by si nejen podle fanoušků Chelsea zasloužila.Luděk Staněk znovu zmínil i slabou transparentnost posuzování kontroverzních momentů, kdy tápou nejen fandové v hledišti, ale i ti u televizních obrazovek. Další příklad toho, jak někteří rozhodčí nestíhají stále rychlejší tempo moderního fotbalu, přivedla publicistu Staňka k myšlence, proč nenasazovat do fotbalových zápasů po vzoru ledního hokeje dva hlavní sudí. Podle Blanky Pěničkové by se nabízela třeba varianta, že by si každý rozhodčí hlídal jednu polovinu hřiště. „Mohlo by se losovat,“ zaznělo dvojhlasně od hostů Angličana.Jiří Hošek ale zapochyboval, co by se dělo, pokud by se oba rozhodčí na zásadním rozhodnutí nedokázali shodnout. „V případě Anglie by se navíc muselo dbát na to, aby byl jeden ze sudích starší a zkušenější, zatímco ten druhý mladší a běhavější. Nasadit na zápas takovou dvojici Mike Dean - Jonathan Moss by mi nedávalo absolutně smysl,“ glosoval ironicky autor podcastu.Trio diskutujících se pozastavilo nad tím, co se to vlastně během doslova pár desítek hodin stalo s Chelsea, která se přes Real Madrid po výtečném výkonu dostala do finále Ligy mistrů, vyhrála v Premier League slavně na hřišti Manchesteru City a vezla se na vlně. Najednou přišla nečekaná prohra v lize s Arsenalem, kdy trenér Tuchel přiznal, že netrefil sestavu. „Přišlo, že celé to finále FA Cupu bylo jakoby vyfouklé,“ poznamenal Luděk Staněk a Blanka Pěničková si zase všimla, že Blues hráli až do inkasovaného gólu málo útočně. Sama to přičítá mimo jiné tomu, že tak dobře nehrál jindy skvělý Francouz Kanté.Chelsea se může stát, že klesne v posledních dvou kolech na 5. místo a to může vytvořit obrovský tlak před finále LM, aby si londýnský klub tuhle milionářskou soutěž v příští sezóně vůbec zahrál. „Tohle se teda fakt nehodí do image trenérského ‚Wunderkind‘ anglické ligy, kterou si Thomas Tuchel celkem pečlivě pěstuje,“ utrousil Luděk Staněk. „To jsme nebrali,“ rozesmála se Blanka Pěničková, držitelka nejvyšší trenérské licence na otázku, co má v případě náhlého propadu formy a momentální pohody kouč vlastně dělat.Trenérka jinak posloužila několika cennými radami a doporučeními, co dělat v Česku, aby se ženský fotbal získal takové postavení, jaké si zaslouží, počínaje osvětou na školách, které dál vesměs razí stereotyp, že holčičky mají recitovat, hrát na flétnu nebo se věnovat tanci. „Je třeba hlavně rozstřelit to pojetí, že je tady nějaký jiný sport jménem ženský fotbal. Je jeden fotbal, stejně jako jeden basketbal a jeden volejbal. Hrají ho muži i ženy,“ rozohnil se Luděk Staněk, který spolu s Blankou Pěničkou zalitoval, že žádný český sportovní kanál nezařadil do svého vysílání přenos nedělního finále Ligy mistryň mezi Barcelonou a Chelsea.V podcastu se rozebírala taky neuvěřitelná situace ze zápasu West Bromwich - Liverpool, kde hostující gólman Alisson udržel Reds naději na Top 4 a tedy postupové místo do Ligy mistrů. Brazilcova branka byla první brankou, kterou brankář v éře Premier League dosáhl hlavou. Před Alissonem skóroval jako poslední přes celé hřiště Asmir Begovič. Ještě před ním to byli Tim Howard, Paul Robinson, Brad Friedel a Peter Schmeichel. U něj Jiřího Hoška uzemnilo zjištění, že slavný Dán v oficiálních zápasech zaznamenal celkem 13 branek, tu nejpamátnější za Manchester United v poháru UEFA proti Rotoru Volgograd.Angličan jinak hledal ideální sestavu letošního ročníku Premier League.
