A warm welcome to talk two in the Let's Start Something Masterclass, the space for Creators We are co-creating our lives. Consciously or Unconsciously. To create a life of fulfilled desire I'm having to wake up. Part of this waking up is the realization of the Kindness of the Design - every single thing that happens is inviting us into more love. Every. Thing that happens is inviting you into more love. Can you imagine a better design? We just run into trouble because of our conditioning / programming / the voice of Should / our mental construct - all words pointing to the same thing. I've created the Circle of Creators to be a cocoon of unraveling this conditioning. Wake up in a whole new world - details in my link tree: https://linktr.ee/kathyzodiaco We begin late October - you can Create the Holidays of your Dreams

Hofschuhmacher Rudolf Scheer & Söhne in Wien.

Hå-hå-hå, håll i dig!
Vad gjorde Elin i Zürich?
Vilken ände börjar du i?
Girl power och inredningsbabbel it is!
Men. In this episode, Mark Baratto sits down with Craig Reynolds to discuss how he created a widely successful landscape architect business on our small 2x4 mile island. Craig's one of a kind hardscape and landscape design has set him up as HGTV’s Ultimate Outdoor Winner 2019. MORE ON CRAIG via HGTV's Interview Craig Reynolds has 22 years of professional Landscape Architecture experience. He began his education at Ohio State University with a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree and continued on to complete a Masters of Landscape Architecture at The University of Florida. After college he worked for seven years at Raymond Jungles, Inc. engaged in all aspects of design and project management for estate gardens throughout South Florida and the Caribbean. In 2002 his experience inspired him to open his own design studio in Key West. He works throughout the Florida Keys and the Caribbean. Craig Reynolds was a fine artist and then a landscape architect. That combination of art and science is at the heart of each garden. The completed gardens seamlessly integrate the hardscape and softscape, making them look as if they were always there. To achieve this whole experience, Craig prefers to design everything from the 'doors out.' In addition to the overall planting design, this includes hardscape elements such as the pool, spa, trellis and arbors, patios and decks, fountains and landscape lighting. All of which is set within a framework of native plants and indigenous materials to complete the experience. Being a Projector in Human Design is not always the easiest journey, especially as we live in a generator-ruled world. If you don't know anything about your design, you might feel ignored, invisible and unseen quite a lot, because people basically love to come to you to talk about themselves non-stop. I've mistaken that in the past as a lack of interest in me. And the more I dive into Human Design, I see how my eating disorder in the past has been one of the biggest coping mechanisms to get the attention I was missing. I explain to you how that actually looked like in this episode!

This week, the topic is “Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice” by From Software, the developer of some of the games we hate to love (AKA Dark Souls)Sekiro is a character action game that blends the "stealth creative takedown" system of the Arkham games with Bloodborne-esque samurai sword combat. It is most definitely not Dark Souls 4, Bloodborne 2, or Tenchu 2 Electric Boogaloo. It is its own game and should be taken as such.Sekiro's use of a predetermined protagonist, as opposed to a custom character, give it a few advantages in its story, presentation, and game design. This blog supports an RSS Feed which you can add to your podcast app of choice to automatically get each episode as it releases! As hospital budgets are getting tighter, administrators are looking for practical and cost effective ways to benefit both their patients and their professionals. Hospital design is a big player in budget talks, being some of the priciest pay points but some of the most necessary. A refurbished, welcoming and functional hospital design makes for not only more productive physicians and nurses, but safer patients. A Modern Healthcare article even goes as far as to point out that inefficient design leads to wasted time looking for supplies or staff, which means less time at a patient's bedside. All in all, healthcare design is crucial. What are the latest trends in aesthetics and functionality that are helping patients feel more comfortable and professionals feel more productive? Jason Pierret, Healthcare Market Manager for Clarus, has dedicated most of his career to the healthcare industry, and has seen how crucial the feel of a hospital can be on overall care. "If they have medicine that kind of walks the walk, their facility really needs to talk the talk," Pierret said. Pierret joined us on the podcast to discuss the latest trends in healthcare design and why efficient communication is inspiring the biggest changes. He also tackles the crippling issue of patient mistrust and how it's directly correlated to healthcare design. But beyond that, he explains how innovative technology like VR or glassboards can inspire creativity among healthcare professionals, keep stressed patients at ease while waiting on difficult news, or just inspire a happier aura for a hospital. "When they walk into a healthcare facility, what types of environments - what elements in that environment impact and influence the way that they feel," Pierret said. "There are studies that are being conducted now that are saying that if the environment is positive and it's bright and you feel good when you walk into the hospital, then that has a direct influence on patient outcomes."
Thinking about entering the interior design industry? I'm only a few years behind finally building a dresser for my daughter, but it’s just in time for her to graduate from High School in a couple of years and head off to college. In this first episode of a multi-part build series we talk about my own design process, starting from the rough idea in my head then taking it to the finished plans and drawings. For many, inspiration comes from a variety of places, but for myself it's mostly a result of the family identifying a need and letting me know we need to fill it. While it’s a far cry from being inspired by a mythological muse it’s still very effective and has resulted in some great projects that fill our house. A full set of detailed plans are available for sale on my website, thanks to Brian Benham of Benham Design Concepts, you can find them by clicking here to visit our new "Digital Downloads Store."
