All of our lives are worthy of a movie or documentary according to Trina J, a coach friend of mine who. However, our inner conflicts about being good enough or being ready come up and prevent us from shining our bright light. That is where Trina J meets her clients when it comes building confidence on and off screen, starting with addressing that little girl in the mirror and all her past pain. In Today's episode, Trina J shares: Her story switching from journalism to broadcast and experiencing what she refers to as "the backlash" of shining bright. Navigating her own struggles with learning to shine and deal with the haters, and using her gifts to help women heal their inner child wounds so they can shine bright again. Breaking through the narratives that were given to us and rebuilding into the women you truly want to become. Breaking the myth that we have to preform perfectly on the first try and normalizing the self doubt that will surface when we do something new How to line up with your magnetic and magical energy that no one else can imitate. Glorifying the triumph we have experienced among the trauma. Tools to help build up the confidence, whether it is on or off camera. This weeks topic is an important one and it's the topic of Resilience. Before I worked on building resilience in my life, both personal and business, I used to get knocked down HARD when things didn't go my way. Sometimes recovering from those rejections, break ups, bad body image days, and hard moments would take weeks or months to bounce back from... Until I learned that those disruptions we experience, could either take us down or become the entry point to deeper healing and growth. Those bad days and even weeks still happen, but the bounce back is so much faster and has helped me be able to grow. In this episode, we'll discuss: Building resilience and what that looks like/means How my resilience got me to where I am now and why it's imperative in this work with food and body image.
