Pedro Winter (born Pierre Winter; 21 April 1975), also known by the stage name Busy P, is a French record producer, DJ, record label owner, and former artist manager. After being the manager of Daft Punk from 1996 to 2008, he founded the electronic music label Ed Banger Records, in which he signed artists like Justice, Breakbot, SebastiAn, Cassius, Mr. Oizo, DJ Mehdi and Myd among others. He grew up under the influence of heavy metal, hip-hop, and rock that would later show in his music. He discovered electronic music in 1992 with his brother, Thomas Winter. Shortly after, he started DJing at the What's Up Bar and organizing the events Hype at Folies Pigalle and then Smoker The Palace with David Guetta. Pedro met Daft Punk in 1996 when he was a law student; the soon-to-be-famous duo asked him to be their manager, and he obliged. In 2002, he created Headbangers Entertainment, through which he managed various artists including Cassius. A year later, Winter founded the label Ed Banger Records, a music division that first signed Mr. Flash with the release "Radar Rider", then signing Justice, followed by SebastiAn in 2004, and later Uffie, DJ Mehdi, Mr. Oizo and more. In 2008, he stopped managing Daft Punk to focus on his label and music career as Busy P. For Phoenix's debut album, United, Winter performed on a Rapman synthesizer in the song "Funky Squaredance". His remix single of Fancy's "What's Your Name Again" was a club hit on its release. The music video for this was again created under the Ed Banger Records label. Pedro was married to Nadege Winter, head of public relations at Parisian boutique Colette. His brother, Thomas Winter, an indie and electro house vocalist, is a former tattooshop owner.

Angelo Whitehead commonly known as Ang Low is a Brooklyn-based contemporary R&B artist. The Tacoma, Washington native released his debut EP Life Goes Down in 2014. Life Goes Down received more than 250,000 plays on SoundCloud and Spotify with the help of his breakout single, “Can’t Describe Her.” The song was remixed with Ed Banger Records producer SebastiAn and featured in The Fader. “Can’t Describe Her” was also voted Bandcamp’s song of the week in 2015. Ang Low would spend most of 2015 collaborating with other musicians such as Laura Welsh (Island Records) and was listed as an artist to watch in 2016 by Clash Magazine. He briefly stepped away from the music scene, but resurfaced with a new single entitled, “Let Go” in Fall 2017. “Let Go” will appear on his forthcoming EP All I Remember. The 6-track EP will highlight Ang’s growth as a keyboardist, songwriter, and music aficionado. By Rob Hochschild | April 17, 2012 Yoga Girls is an electronic dance music duo known for incorporating elements of yoga mantras into their heavy noise and electro sounds. Current Berklee student Lillia Betz and recent Berklee graduate Dione Tan are from France and Singapore, respectively, and their music is a merger of organic sampling and grimy, distorted synth sounds. They site their musical inspirations as Trentemøller, Simian Mobile Disco, Wolfgang Gartner, and artists on the Ed Banger Records label. Betz and Tan met in Cuba and discovered a common fascination with yoga's energetic qualities, and decided to explore the idea of conveying this through dance music. They'll perform on a conference-opening bill for Rethink Music with Karmin and Junior Boys. Other Rethink performers include GZA, the Lumineers, and Mayer Hawthorne. This episode of Sounds of Berklee features the Yoga Girls' "Downward Dog."
