Muito embora fosse uma criança ativa, minha convidada de hoje lutou contra a balança a sua adolescência toda, mesmo praticando judô por muitos anos. Um dia, porém, ela sofreu um golpe mal dado em sua perna, o que a fez se afastar dos tatames. Poucos anos depois ela engravidou do primeiro filho. A correria com o primogênito, os estudos e o trabalho levaram-na a esquecer a sua própria saúde e seu peso aumentou. O ano era 2002, quando ela foi convidada por alguns colegas de trabalho a participar da Maratona de Revezamento do Pão de Açúcar. Seu filho já estava com cinco anos e ela aceitou o convite. Treinava no final do expediente quando sua agenda permitia, mas ainda não estava ligada na corrida e ela foi até o fim pois havia o compromisso com a sua equipe. Ao cruzar a linha de chegada, porém, sentiu algo diferente, especial, como se fosse um marco. De lá em diante, passou a correr provas de 5k e 10k sempre que tinha a oportunidade. Anos depois, veio mais uma pausa por conta da gestação do seu segundo filho, que teve sérias complicações de saúde logo ao nascer e demandou toda a sua energia e atenção. Após algum tempo ela se reergueu do susto e voltou a correr, sem rumo, sem planilha, sem tempo, só para ventilar a mente. A corrida tinha o papel de faze-la fugir das preocupações, ajustar seus pensamentos e representava momentos em que ela podia chorar, gritar e se reconectar consigo mesma. Mudou-se para o Sul de Minas Gerais e durante os três anos em que moraram lá, ela voltou a participar de algumas provas. Mas foi em 2015, de volta a São Paulo que começou a participar com frequência de corridas de rua, chegando até as meias maratonas. Em 2018 conheceu seu atual marido através de um app de relacionamentos e já na primeira conversa, ele disse: "Se você falar que corre, eu caso com você!”. Três meses depois já estavam morando juntos. No mesmo ano foram para Berlim, pois ele iria participar da maratona. No 35km, debaixo de chuva, ele a pediu em casamento. Ela, que já havia decidido que um dia iria correr a Maratona de Nova Iorque, disse sim. Veio a pandemia com isso ela teve que adiar seus planos para a estréia na maratona. Em 2021 estava animada com a possibilidade de finalmente correr em Nova Iorque, porém,  infelizmente ela contraiu o vírus Sars-CoV-2 e adoeceu. Foram 219 dias consecutivos com a doença e inúmeros desafios enfrentados. Ano passado, totalmente curada mas não livre de algumas sequelas, ela finalmente realizou o seu sonho e recebeu a sua tão aguardada e sonhada medalha ao cruzar a linha de chegada da Maratona de Nova Iorque. Hoje, ela lidera uma agência especializada na comunicação de marcas, bem como tem grande atuação em suas próprias redes sociais, abordando temas ligados à vida descomplicada e ao bem estar, sem neuras, de forma real. Ela ainda contribui para a Revista Panrotas, onde escreve sobre turismo inclusivo e possui uma coluna no Orbi News chamada, apropriadamente, Nosso Corre. He has not only designed exteriors and interiors, but he is also a very successful Product Designer, Brand Strategist and with his beautiful book, Curve, he can now add Author to that list.   He has successfully navigated every type of design environment from large OEM's to small boutique Design Houses and is now running his own Creative Consultancy in his adoptive home of Tokyo. He speaks 5 languages and I think it's safe to say that he is pretty fluent in the language of Design.   Fabio's brilliance is immediately apparent when you talk to him and it comes across so effortlessly.
