Greg Murphy of Vectra AI explains why no single security tool is enough in 2026, and how AI is transforming overwhelmed security teams into lean, highly responsive defense operations.Topics Include:Vectra AI helps enterprises detect and respond to cyberattacks before they become breaches.CISOs face millions of alerts monthly with dangerously understaffed security teams.Vectra pioneered AI-driven triage to prioritize only the most critical threats. The result: analysts act on two or three alerts, not thousands.Generative AI is now actively being weaponized by sophisticated bad actors. The first fully AI-orchestrated cyberattack by a nation state has already happened.Vectra and AWS Bedrock are building autonomous agents to fight back.Agentic AI can investigate thousands of incidents and surface only what matters.Over-reliance on single tools like EDR leaves dangerous gaps in defense.Modern attacks move fluidly across identity, network, and cloud environments simultaneously.AI stitches cross-surface signals together, revealing attacks hidden in isolated events.Best practice: assume breach, expand your network definition, and layer best-of-breed solutions.Participants:Greg Murphy – Chief Business Officer, Vectra AISee how Amazon Web Services gives you the freedom to migrate, innovate, and scale your software company at https://aws.amazon.com/isv/

Awarded a Member of the Order of the British Empire in the Queen’s Birthday Honours in 1987 for services to Motorsport Ken Smith wasn’t about to let that be a book end to his career. There was still so much more he wanted to do.His eye for talent and the significant help he gave in the background to sure up the future of some modern day stars.Working with Indycar great Scott Dixon, World Sportscar and Le Mans 24 hour winner Brendon Hartley, 4-time Bathurst winner Greg Murphy (in his early days) as well as Shane van Gisbergen and Liam Lawson.Trading blows with Craig Baird and Paul Radisich as they climbed the ladder.Reflections on the lovely constant for so much of his racing, his late Mother Dorothy. And we’ll talk about the cool cars that surround us in the 5-time Gold Star winner’s workshop. Plus the odd saloon car drive and much more. The numbers seem hard to comprehend, 50 starts in the New Zealand Grand Prix, almost 70 years of continuous racing, success overseas in Asia as well as countless wins at home. The Government says it's modernising the drivers licensing system, with the key change being the end to full license practical tests. After passing the restricted license test, drivers under the age of 25 will have to wait out a mandatory 12-month period as a restricted driver before they can apply for a full licence. Those aged over 25 will have to wait six months. Kiwi motorsport driver and road safety advocate Greg Murphy says he supports some of this, but claims that the Government hasn't gone far enough. "It's not actually meaning we're going to have safer drivers on the road, it just means it's going to cost you a little bit less." LISTEN ABOVESee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Steve Moore explores the intersection of public policy and economic health, arguing that the current American economy is experiencing a "blockbuster" recovery spurred by tax-incentivized industrial investment. Moore critiques the "apocalyptic" warnings of climate activists and Democratic leaders, contrasting their rhetoric with his own optimistic view that the nation is in fine shape despite ongoing concerns about healthcare costs and birth rate declines. A major segment of the program focuses on the "vote with your feet" phenomenon, where the author analyzes new census data to show how high-tax states like California and New York are losing population and political power to pro-growth, low-tax regions in the Carolinas and the South. The show also features a detailed interview with former Press Secretary Sean Spicer regarding the strategic evolution of the Trump administration, followed by a discussion with Congressman Greg Murphy on reforming the healthcare system to prioritize the doctor-patient relationship over the profits of insurance companies.
