Från radhusen i Täby till toppen av Englands-listan. I en lägenhet i Göteborg, en våning upp, sitter musikern Andreas Kleerup, ensam. Han har långt hår ner till axlarna, ska snart fylla trettio, har redan hunnit få en etta på Englandslistan och vinna tre grammisar. Men trots att han står på toppen av sin karriär, vill han inte fortsätta leva. Andreas Kleerup sitter med en flaska alkohol och en burk receptbelagda, lugnande tabletter. Han kliar sig i skägget och ser sig omkring i det dåligt belysta rummet. På burkens etikett, i ett allvarligt typsnitt, står namnet på hans läkare. Tabletterna får han egentligen inte ha längre, men han har lyckats hämta ut dem ändå. Andreas, som är från Stockholm, har under hela dagen försökt få sina vänner i Göteborg att förstå hur dåligt han mår, men budskapet har inte nått fram och hans problem känns oövervinnerliga. Den första lugnande tabletten fungerade inte. Inte den andra heller. En kall vind blåser in genom det halvöppna fönstret. Veckans utmanare: Uno Svenningsson - Mellan åren 1988-1991 placerade gruppen Freda tre låtar på Svensktoppen. Sångare var Uno Svenningsson som sen gick sin egna väg när gruppen splittrades. For now, this mix is rock solid from start to finish.  It' starts out with a bang and pumps the pulse straight from your ears down to your toes!  Word of warning, this is NSFW.  The first three songs drop the “F” bomb repeatedly; so if you wanna play this back while working you might want to cue it at the fifth song to prevent offending your colleagues.  After the booty shaking romp of the first quarter of the mix, the tone drops a little into the massive “Devil Toy” by Hoxton Whores.  If the song sounds all too familiar, that's because it is basically a pumped-up dub version of the classic “Make the World Go Round” by Sandy B.  Original? Not.  But, it's a lot of fun.  Moving on, we get into what has already proven to be a massive track in all its forms by Faithless, “Music Matters”.  The Axwell mix does more justice than you can imagine.  In fact, I think if this song were housed up a bit, this could potentially be a major crossover.  Simplistic, but certainly beautiful.  That flows right into “Atlas” by Digital Enemy and Carl Hanaghan.  The Vision mix is a true testament to his diversity.  Thereafter, we move into some more indie progressive mixes with Arno Cost and Avicii, which provide some great male vocals without sounding cheesy.  Avicii's “Excited” helps levitate us back into the heavier and deeper “Pa Po Pon” by Mowgli.  Robbie Rivera is at the top of his game with this floor filler.  Purposely repetitive, it will stick in your head like glue long after it's over.  Finally, we switch gears to what I might consider a more commercial prog house with Kleerup and Bad Boy Bill.  “Longing For Lullabies” and “Falling Anthem” are both serious contenders for radio play and insidiously catchy.  Finally, we drop back down to the low tempo “Panama” by Yvel and Tristan.

Och så framför dom under programmets gång även en ny melodi från deras senaste skiva. Och det går lite mer i traditionens tecken också: vår skyltdocka som vi använde förra veckan är med på ett hörn. Vi fortsätter med att försöka utse Sveriges Vackraste Lagtext. Fredrik Wersäll, som är president i Svea Hovrätt kommer till studion och ger sitt bidrag. Och naturligtvis framförs veckans låt, den här veckan handlar den om en minister som vi alltid glömmer bort namnet på. Vi kommer också mynta och sylta ett nytt begrepp: Perenna Nyheter.
