LA Dodgers vs. Kansas City Royals MLB Betting Pick Prediction 7/1/2023 by Tony T. Dodgers at Royals—Julio Urias to start for Los Angeles. Urias in ten starts posts an ERA of 4.39 with WHIP of 1.16. The lefthander fans 23.3% with 4.8% walks. Ground balls come in at 38% with 2.28 home runs per nine innings. A FIP of 5.29 suggests a rise in ERA based on his numbers.

NOTÍCIAS: 1 – Começando com a manchete de hoje, pesquisas recentes da Acast revelaram que profissionais de marketing nos EUA estão obtendo retornos muito significativos quando investem em publicidade nos podcasts. Mais de dois terços desses profissionais tiveram retornos de 2 a 6 dólares para cada 1 dólar que investiram em podcasts, enquanto 20% dos entrevistados tiveram retornos de 6 doláres ou mais. A pesquisa destacou, mais uma vez, a eficácia dos podcasts como meio de publicidade, e ressaltou a importância de dividir a audiência em segmentos, e do uso de dados para otimizar os resultados. Embora os podcasts ainda sejam só uma porção pequena dos gastos totais com publicidade digital nos Estados Unidos, a sua importância e potencial de crescimento são reconhecidos pelos profissionais de marketing, que acreditam que pelo menos 7% do orçamento de marketing deveria ser investido em podcasting. A expansão para o Reino Unido foi recebida com entusiasmo pela Edison Research e pelas empresas de produção de conteúdo digital da região, que esperam ter acesso a muito mais informações sobre a circulação de podcasts e publicidade entre o público britânico. O novo recurso oferece autenticação de dois fatores, criptografia de dados, backups regulares e servidores seguros, atendendo a regulamentos rígidos de privacidade. Com essa iniciativa, a Podbean recebeu o certificado de segurança SOC 2 tipo 2, reafirmando o seu compromisso em oferecer uma plataforma segura para produtores e ouvintes de podcasts.  Nos tempos atuais, onde cyber-crimes são um problema comum, é muito importante saber se nossos dados estão sendo protegidos da forma que deveriam – e é bom que as grandes empresas do nosso setor saibam disso e corram atrás pra oferecer isso à seus usuários. Ler a notícia completa 05 – E o YouTube lançou um projeto chamado “RSS Ingestion” que permite a inserção automática de áudios de podcasts a partir de um feed RSS para a plataforma. Olha aí, finalmente o YouTube vai ter podcast? Não. O serviço está sendo testado com alguns parceiros, como a CNN, e inclui uma imagem estática da arte do podcast, só que diferente de outras plataformas de podcast baseadas no RSS, o YouTube não vai oferecer integração completa, e os dados de reprodução não vão ficar visíveis para os produtores de podcast. O feed RSS é só uma maneira de inserir automaticamente o áudio no seu sistema. Ou seja, ao invés de você fazer o upload, o RSS puxa o áudio, mas a partir daí tudo o que tem dentro do YouTube continua igual. E então? Ler a notícia completa 06 – Ainda falando em YouTube, de acordo com relatórios recentes, as parcerias com a NPR, Slate e o New York Times no setor de podcasts não estão alcançando as expectativas desejadas. A empresa esperava que esses acordos fossem impulsionar a integração dos podcasts em áudio, mas parece que os usuários continuam preferindo outras plataformas de podcast, apresentando desafios para o YouTube em atrair e reter ouvintes. Quem consome YouTube realmente quer aquele formato em vídeo. Não adianta querer colocar podcast em áudio com imagem estática. O ouvinte de YouTube quer o podcast em vídeo mesmo. Apesar desse pequeno “flop”, a empresa continua otimista e espera uma reviravolta no futuro, até por isso eles estão inserindo mais funcionalidades e ferramentas, como a inserção de feed RSS que a gente acabou de falar. Ler a notícia completa E MAIS: 07 – A Ubisoft, uma das empresas gigantes dos videogames, anunciou uma parceria estratégica com a Acast para suas operações de podcast. A Acast vai ser responsável pela distribuição, comercialização e promoção dos podcasts da Ubisoft, incluindo títulos populares como “Echoes of History” e “Tech Makers”. O objetivo da Ubisoft é expandir o alcance da empresa, atrair novos ouvintes e anunciantes, e possivelmente explorar uma nova fonte de receita (E por que não? Tá certíssimo). A empresa planeja desenvolver robôs capazes de criar anúncios que imitam a voz e o estilo dos apresentadores dos podcasts exclusivos da plataforma.  A iniciativa acendeu uma discussão se isso é uma coisa boa, ou ruim. Até por que eu, como apresentador de podcast, como profissional da voz, eu não sei se ia gostar de ver uma inteligência artificial usando a minha voz e meu estilo de locução pra fazer uma propaganda que não fui eu quem fiz, e principalmente não fui eu quem recebi direitos de uso da minha voz e do meu trabalho… Também vamos acompanhar como isso vai funcionar daqui pra frente. Ler a notícia completa 09 – A plataforma de hospedagem de podcasts Captivate, anunciou o lançamento de novos recursos de monetização para podcasters através de assinaturas. O novo modelo de assinatura permite que os podcasters ofereçam conteúdo exclusivo para assinantes premium e ofereçam acesso antecipado a episódios para ouvintes pagantes – um molde que nós já vimos em outras plataformas, e que já está funcionando no mercado a alguns meses.  Mas além disso, o Captivate também está oferecendo um recurso de gorjeta que permite que os fãs apoiem seus podcasters favoritos com contribuições únicas, tipo o YouTube e a Twitch, quando o espectador manda uns cascalhinhos durante a transmissão, no superchat, e outros formatos. Ler a notícia completa HOJE NO GIRO SOBRE PESSOAS QUE FAZEM A MÍDIA: 10 – Os podcasters Mítico e Igão do Podpah, um dos podcasts mais conhecidos do Brasil atualmente, estão com uma nova parceria com o Spotify e a Chevrolet: o videocast “Carona Podpah”. Isso aqui pode parecer um jabá, mas não é. Eu até queria que fosse, mas é notícia mesmo. Depois do sucesso deles produzindo o primeiro videocast do Spotify no Brasil, o novo programa em vídeo vai contar com entrevistas com convidados, que vão ser feitas enquanto Igão e Mítico dirigem pela cidade de São Paulo. Um projeto muito legal que lembra, inclusive, o “Não Fale Com o Motorista” que o meu amigo Rodrigo Fernandes do Jacaré Banguela produziu desde 2011 lá no YouTube, mas naquela época, os vídeos dele não eram chamados de podcast. E se liga só nos nomes de alguns convidados confirmados no Carona Podpah: as irmãs rappers Tasha & Tracie, Urias e Pedro Scooby. Os episódios serão lançados toda quarta-feira, a partir do dia 7 de junho. Ler a notícia completa 11 – Há alguns dias a internet tem acompanhado o crime de racismo sofrido pelo jogador brasileiro Vini Jr., que atualmente joga na Espanha pelo time Real Madrid. Durante um jogo contra o Valencia, ele foi alvo de represálias racistas por parte da torcida, sendo chamado de “macaco” em coro pela torcida do Valencia, numa postura recorrente, que tem acontecido muito com o Vini na Espanha. Diante dessa situação lamentável, o Vini Jr. usou suas redes sociais pra se pronunciar e cobrar um posicionamento dos times e da arbitragem.  O caso ganhou destaque em um episódio do podcast “Angu De Grilo”, apresentado pela Flávia Oliveira e Isabela Reis, que falaram sobre como essa violência absurda finalmente resultou em reações por parte das instituições espanholas, mas só depois do Governo Brasileiro e até na ONU intervir. É realmente vergonhoso que em 2023 a gente ainda veja casos assim acontecendo, como se não fosse errado ou como se não existissem consequências. Esperamos que a justiça cumpra seu papel, e que o Vini e outros jogadores negros não tenham mais que passar por isso nunca mais.
