Maar mensen kunnen zich er ook enorm kwaad over maken. Van Wim Sonnevelds Frater Venantius tot Koot en Bies Tegenpartij en Youp van 't Heks pisnicht – stuk voor stuk vormden ze de aanleiding tot een fikse rel. Een publieke woede-uitbarsting over humor vertelt ons veel over de tijdsgeest, en over hoe die soms ineens omslaat. Aangevuurd door de (sociale) media kan de spanning hoog oplopen. In die cocktail van veranderende normen en waarden, hoge kijkcijfers en een sensatiebeluste pers is een humorschandaal snel geboren. In Het was maar een grapje duikt Ivo Nieuwenhuis in deze en andere gedenkwaardige Nederlandse humorrellen. Vandaag het gesprek met Marianne Koot Marianne Koot is initiatiefnemer van het platform GirlZ Choice. Een platform vóór en dóór mbo-meiden om hun positie op de arbeidsmarkt te verstevigen. Want bij de overstap van school naar werk staan deze jonge vrouwen met 2-0 achter. Zij zijn én mbo-er én ook nog eens vrouw. Haar initiatief is inmiddels opgemerkt door organisaties als WomenInc en Atria. Marianne is gepokt en gemazeld in het mbo. Als innovatieregisseur begeleidt zij trajecten waarin onderwijs en bedrijfsleven samen opleidingen bouwen. Hierbij staat één vraag centraal: Komen jongeren hiervoor hun bed uit? Dit is ook Marianne. Een RotterDAME met het hart op de tong én op de juiste plek, liefhebber van koffie in het ochtendzonnetje, ontwikkelaar van loopbaanprogramma's en eigenaar van onderwijsbureau &KOOT. In gesprek met Marianne leerde ik: Mensen met een mbo opleiding staan met 1-0 achter omdat we in de meeste vacatures hbo denk- en werkniveau vragen doordat de mensen die de vacatures opstellen te weinig contact hebben met het mbo.Vrouwen verdienen minder dan mannen, dus staan meisjes met een mbo-opleiding met 2-0 achter.Door hen te laten geloven dat zij minder zijn dan meiden met een universitaire graad. Vind je het gek dat zij zeggen: 'Ik heb maar mbo!?'Hoog tijd om daar verandering in te brengen. Door mbo-meiden te promoveren tot onmisbare schakels in de maatschappij. Deuren voor hen te openen.Je loopbaan is een optelsom van alle keuzes die je maakt en rolmoddelen en kruiwagens die je tegenkomt.De jonge vrouwen leren om goed te onderhandelen ook bij de eerste baan.Van solliciteren naar netwerken, veel eerder rondkijken waar je zou willen werken en wie ken je daar.De boodschap van moeder over financiele afhankelijkheid van de vrouw was een belangrijke aanleiding om te bouwen aan haar legacy.Waarom krijgen we niet meer jongen vrouwen naar de techniek, want er is enorm veel vraag en een goede betaling.Een goed voorbeeld doet volgen, zoals bijvoorbeeld het Nederlands vrouwen voetbal dat succesvol is.Dinsdag 27 september 2022 vanaf 19.30 uur de bijeenkomst van GirlZ Choice bij Pakhuis de Zwijger GirlZ Choice - het platform voor mbo-meiden. Het Duits-Nederlands Legerkorps heeft op dit conflict een bijzondere kijk. Als NAVO Hoofdkwartier is het namelijk de aangewezen entiteit om in een dergelijk conflict de operatie aan het front te leiden.
