Road Trip After Hours w/ WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long and Host Mac Davis
Mac Davis and WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long kick off another engaging episode of Wrestling's Road Trip After Hours with fond memories of their recent appearance at River City Wrestling Con in St. Augustine. The duo shares a heartwarming reunion with WWE Hall of Famer Jackie Moore, complete with hilarious road trip stories that showcase the genuine friendships formed behind the scenes in professional wrestling. The conversation quickly shifts to current wrestling controversies, starting with Rikishi's comments about his son Jey Uso's WWE booking. Teddy doesn't hold back, agreeing that WWE failed Jey by having him lose his championship too quickly: "It's not how you win the title, it's how you lose it." This prompts a broader discussion about WWE's creative direction and whether the company adequately plans storylines beyond championship victories. When addressing R-Truth's WWE release, Teddy cuts through the noise with his trademark directness: "It's a shoot." He expresses frustration at what he sees as WWE's attempt to reframe the situation as planned, suggesting the company is trying to cover up what he believes was a mistake. This segment offers viewers a rare glimpse into how wrestling veterans interpret corporate messaging.Perhaps most striking is their candid assessment of WWE's current ticket pricing strategy, with reports of ringside seats costing $30,000 and nosebleed sections approaching $1,000. "It's greed," Teddy states plainly, reflecting on how economic realities make such prices inaccessible to average fans. Both hosts worry this approach could backfire by driving wrestling enthusiasts toward more affordable independent shows, where fan-wrestler interactions remain personal and meaningful. The episode features lively audience interaction, with Teddy answering questions about inspirational colleagues (naming JBL) and sharing brief but insightful comments about wrestling personalities like Goldust, Lita, Marty Jannetty, and Mick Foley. Road Trip After Hours w/ WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long and Host Mac Davis
The wrestling world is experiencing seismic shifts as corporate interests reshape the landscape that fans and performers have long known. Mac Davis and Teddy Long dive deep into these changes, offering perspectives that only industry veterans can provide. The conversation begins with Ric Flair's latest controversy, where he dismissed Jim Ross's cancer announcement as "attention seeking" before boasting about making "$3 million at age 76" while dismissing critics who weren't "famous." Teddy doesn't mince words in his assessment of Flair's behavior, expressing disappointment in how the once-respected legend now presents himself. As TKO tightens its grip on WWE operations, reports suggest they're reconsidering Roman Reigns' lucrative contract despite his status as the company's top star. This exemplifies the new business-focused approach that's transforming WWE under corporate ownership. Both hosts draw parallels to WCW's demise, warning that when corporations focus solely on financials without understanding wrestling's unique appeal, the product inevitably suffers. The recent release of R-Truth sparked particularly passionate discussion. Despite being one of WWE's most beloved characters, Truth was let go in what seems like a purely business decision. Teddy reveals a conversation with Truth where he expressed feeling "free" after his release. The hosts explore exciting possibilities for Truth's future, including creative storylines involving "Little Jimmy" that could revitalize his career outside WWE's constraints.Production quality also comes under scrutiny as the hosts compare today's WWE programming to the Attitude Era. They point to a recent Naomi-Bianca Belair segment that mentioned visiting a childhood home without showing any footage – a missed opportunity that highlights how the current product lacks the creative flourishes that once made wrestling compelling viewing.Join us each week for unfiltered insights into professional wrestling from those who've lived it. In this episode of the Pain and Performance Podcast, I sit down with Mac Davis, the founder of Mini Circle, a cutting-edge company revolutionizing gene therapy with mini-circle plasmids. If you've ever wondered how science is pushing the boundaries of longevity, muscle growth, and inflammation control; this conversation is a must-listen. "Health feels better than convenient."What Makes Mini-Circle Plasmids Different? Most gene therapy sounds like sci-fi, but Mini Circle's approach is different; safer, cleaner, and non-invasive to your DNA. Unlike traditional methods that can alter your genetic code, mini-circle plasmids work alongside your body's natural systems without changing your original blueprint. No DNA modification – Just temporary instructions that help your body heal and optimize itself.Delivered into fat tissue – Simple injections (no scary viral vectors).Focused on real-world results – From reducing chronic pain to boosting muscle growth. The Power of Folistatin: More Than Just MuscleFolistatin isn't some synthetic lab chemical; it's a natural human hormone that regulates muscle growth, fat metabolism, and even bone health. But its real superpower? Fighting chronic inflammation, one of the biggest hidden killers in modern health.Patients with stubborn joint pain and injuries report dramatic improvements after Folistatin therapy. It's not just for athletes; anyone dealing with age-related muscle loss or inflammation could benefit.Clotho: The "Magic" Longevity GeneIf you haven't heard of Clotho, pay attention. This gene therapy is showing insane potential for:Cognitive function – Patients describe "brain fog" lifting within weeks.Kidney health – A major factor in how well we age.Overall vitality – Some say they feel "like their younger selves" again. One of the most striking takeaways? A patient who said:"This is how I was before. This is me."Stacking Therapies for Maximum ImpactWhy stop at one therapy when you can combine them? Gene therapy stacking (like using Folistatin + Clotho) could be the next big leap in health optimization. Think of it like building a personalized longevity protocol—tailored to your body's needs.People in their 50s and 60s regaining muscle and energy levels they hadn't seen in decades.Individuals prioritizing quality of life over just adding years. As Mac puts it: "People deserve to be healthy."Links: DERRICKTikTok:https://www.tiktok.com/@drderrickInstagram:https://www.instagram.com/derrickbhines/Youtube:https://www.youtube.com/@DrDerrickMac Davis:Website: https://minicircle.io/ Instagram:https://www.instagram.com/minicircledna/

On this episode of Tent Show Radio, experience a heartwarming presentation of Glen Campbell's biggest hits and the stories behind them, delivered by the music legend's band leader and guitarist of 15 years, Jeff Dayton. Nashville artist Jeff Dayton's career is a success story built on hard work, faith and professionalism. The Minnesota native grew up heavily influenced by the music of guitar greats like Eric Clapton, Jerry Reed, Jimi Hendrix and, naturally, Glen Campbell. He formed the Jeff Dayton Band in Phoenix, Arizona in 1980. With a regional #1 hit under his belt, they opened shows for countless artists and major tours that passed through the city, eventually catching the eye of Glen Campbell who would quickly change his career forever. Dayton became Glen Campbell's right-hand man, spending 15 years as the legendary musician's guitarist and band leader. From the 1980's to the 2000's, they toured around the world and across all 50 states, performed at the White House, and appeared together on The Today Show and Glen's PBS special with the South Dakota Orchestra. In the years that followed, Dayton had the honor of backing artists including Vince Gill, Willie Nelson, Toby Keith, Buck Owens, Tracy Byrd, Bo Diddley, Dizzy Gillespie, Gene Autry, Mac Davis and would tour with megastar Kenny Chesney, Lee Greenwood, Sarah Darling, Tammy Cochran and others. After Glen Campbell's passing in 2017, Jeff got so many requests for a show of the icon's music that he launched “Salute to Glen Campbell,” an intimate, upbeat presentation of his hits and the first-person stories of their years together. Dayton has created a truly uplifting and sentimental first-person tribute to one of the greatest artists of all time; he shares the stories behind the songs, the records Glen played on as a member of the Wrecking Crew in his LA studio days, and of course, some of Campbell's classic country humor. Jeff Dayton continues to lead the band, which includes original drummer Tom Benton, as they perform to sold-out crowds across the country, playing hits like “Wichita Lineman,” “Gentle On My Mind,” “Rhinestone Cowboy,” and all the rest, just as they were performed with Glen Campbell.
