Nothing says MON era like Tulsa Tokyo and The Middle of Nowhere, The Albertane Tour, Promo including TV spots and Jack Frost Soundtracks! And this week's guest, Scott Hogan, was there for all of it. I loved talking with Scott about his memories of this era. Noteable discussions were how he got the gig and a fun set up he did with a roadie named Romeo- which landed Taylor and Zac's their wives. The reasoning behind this set up also struck a chord- as we continue to unpack this era, we see more and more that the reality and lens in which we were viewing this era as fans was very different behind the scenes. I hope you enjoy! x You can find Scott on Youtube, Facebook and Instagram @nilandscott

Aston Villa are unbeaten and still in the League Cup. That's two things they failed to do after the first two games last season in the Championship. David and Dan reflect back on the league opener against Hull City and the mid-week League Cup away win in the rain of Colchester. They have a closer look at players that haven't really got up and running at Villa, such as Scott Hogan, Conor Hourihane and Birkir Bjarnason. And also access whether the team's young hopefuls such as Andre Green and Callum O'Hare can play a big role in Aston Villa's quest for promotion. The logic of Samba's cameo up front is revealed and there is concern over the left-side of Villa's team. Also, in the show is Twitter With Tony and a couple of appearances from Negatron to spoil the early season optimism.Enjoy!Support the podcast via the Patron link on the website - http://www.myoldmansaid.com - and keep the show on the road!UTV* The audio quality is not totally on point due to the wi-fi messing things up. Rather than ditch the show, much effort (and many hours) were put in to make it as good as possible, so at least you could listen to it. It's still not bad, it's just not how we'd ideally have liked it.Podcast details - http://www.myoldmansaid.co.ukFeaturing:David Michael - @oldmansaidDan Rodgers - @avfc_vilrMy Old Man Said - http://www.myoldmansaid.comVilla Underground - http://www.villaunderground.comProducer - David Michael See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

Brentford dug in well coming up with an incredibly professional performance to beat Bristol City 1-0. Both goalkeepers earned their corn - especially in the first half. With hotshots Scott Hogan and Tammy Abrahams both being denied certain goals. But it took a cracking goal from Maxime Colin to separate the two sides. His thunderbolt taking a HUGE deflection to see the Bees take three points from Ashton Gate for the third match in a row. We spoke to fans after the match ... but technical problems means we also ended up discussing the game a lot amongst ourselves ....
Brentford rolled up their sleeves against Burton - 3 points were essential for the Bees to get their season back on track. A Scott Hogan brace saw the Bees nab all three points against a competitive Burton and useless referee. We spoke to fans in the pub after the match. #bafc #brentfordfc

Brentford Director of Football Phil Giles gives us his thoughts straight after the away victory against Brighton. International week is over. Brentford were back in business looking for their first away win against Brighton. The Seagulls came into this match off the back of two storming home wins. But it took two goals from Scott Hogan to seal three points for the Bees in a well deserved victory. Plenty of comparisons to Crystal Palace chanting from the away end .. which was quite amusing. We chat to #Brentfordfc & #bhafc fans after the match
