Matt Murdock's character page on the Marvel site includes a detailed "On Screen Full Report" of the events experienced by Charlie Cox's hero. Not only does the report detail all three seasons of his Netflix adventures, but it also mentions that "Sometime later, Matt was hired as an attorney to defend Peter Parker." Here's the excerpt of the important part: Soon after, Matt attended the funeral for Father Lantom, where he made peace with Sister Maggie. Now in a better state of mind than he had been in quite a while, Matt fully reconciled with Karen and Foggy and the three of them discussed the idea of reforming their law firm with Karen now as the firm's lead investigator and third partner. Sometime later, Matt was hired as an attorney to defend Peter Parker, as Peter had been publicly outed as Spider-Man and accused of Mysterio's murder. Though Peter was legally cleared of any wrongdoing, Matt warned him he'd still have to face the court of public opinion and advised Harold “Happy” Hogan to hire a good lawyer. As if on cue, a protestor threw a brick through the window of the Parkers' apartment in support of Mysterio. Fortunately, due to his heightened senses, Matt was able to catch the brick before it hurt anyone inside. When Peter asked him how he was able to do that, Matt claimed it was because he was a really good lawyer and left it at that. Marvel's confirmation that Murdock became Peter Parker's lawyer "Sometime later" than the dramatic ending of Daredevil Season 3 appears to indicate Charlie Cox will continue playing the same version of his character, not a Multiversal Variant as many had speculated. DISNEY+ Disney+ Removes Stan Lee Tribute From Marvel Netflix Show https://thedirect.com/article/marvel-stan-lee-tribute-disney-netflix-show A tribute to Stan Lee has been removed from The Punisher's second season finale, which was released in January 2019. The "In Loving Memory of Stan Lee" tribute is now replaced with a prolonged black screen before the credits. The reasoning behind the removal is unknown, but a prevailing theory is that the scene preceding the tribute has Frank Castle gunning down a group of people. Of course, this isn't the confirmed cause of the change—after all, that's how it was when the tribute first aired with the show back in 2019. Oddly enough, the Stan Lee tribute found at the end of Jessica Jones season 3 is still present on Disney+. ‘Star Wars' vs. Marvel: Which Disney+ Shows Are Most-Viewed https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/star-wars-vs-marvel-which-disney-shows-are-most-viewed-1235122942/ Marvel Leak Spoils Daredevil and Kingpin's Next MCU Appearance https://www.cbr.com/marvel-daredevil-kingpin-mcu-appearance-spoiled-echo/ A new leak seems to spoil the next Marvel Cinematic Universe appearance for Vincent D'Onofrio's Wilson Fisk/Kingpin and Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock/Daredevil. Cathey Tribute: 'Why Do This?' https://www.cbr.com/luke-cage-showrunner-disney-plus-reg-cathey-tribute-removal-marvel/ Disney+ removed the tribute to Reg E. Reg E Cathey was part of the heart and soul of Season Two," Coker wrote on Twitter. Episode 101: Daredevil Season 3 Produced by Relevant to Our Interests Hosts: John R. Belliston and Frank Shaw Scripting by: Frank Shaw & John R. Belliston Edited by: Frank Shaw Graphic Design by: Nathan Newell and Frank Shaw Intro Music: Morning Activities by F.G. Shaw Outro Music: Morning Activities by F.G. Shaw The guys finally breaks down, and talk about the last season of Daredevil. Frank explains why they put it off, then they dive headlong into a discussion about the plot and the characters. They talk about the villains of the series, going into a discussion about the character Bullseye: His psychopathy, Wilson's Fisk's manipulation of him, and as through the plot recap, Fisk's betrayal of him. They also discuss how Wilson Fisk's plot slowly unfolds and how he ups the stakes this season compared to the first season. There's also discussion about the character Ray Nadeem. They then discuss the absences of the other heroes from the Marvel Nights Universe. Then it's on to themes: First up, how people are never wholly black or white, as examined by the actions of Karen Page, Fisk, and Daredevil himself. Frank talks a little bit about one aspect of redemption that crops up this season with the character of Sister Maggie, the nun who helped raise Matt at the orphanage when he was a boy. Then Frank and John dive into a discussion about religion and faith, and specifically crisis-es of faith, and how they are portrayed in entertainment now. Also how crisis-es of faith are treated by faithful and atheists. They then give their final thoughts on the season, and long for a future with more.

Matt Murdock is alive, but just barely, after the events of The Defenders. At your request, I'm recapping episodes of Daredevil Season 3, now available on Netflix. Poor Matt has lost yet another of his senses, along with the will to fight or live beyond the safety of the orphanage where he grew up. But when he's cast out and sent to the basement, and lectured by Sister Maggie, the devil begins to stir. The appropriately titled premiere episode, "Resurrection," sees signs of life returning to Matt Murdock despite all the punches that life has thrown at him. Well, life and his many enemies - for instance, his most despised nemesis Wilson Fisk. And say, what's up with the Kingpin, anyway? He, too is a changed man, and events are set in motion which will see the two facing off against each other again, both newly strong yet also more vulnerable than before. Welcome back, everyone! Maggie and I haven't talked about Daredevil in a hot minute, and let me tell you...I think we finally have this whole Netflix series formula worked out. These series aren't really great to cover one episode at a time, as we have learned, so we're doing 3 episodes at a time and then the finale will either be a big one with 4 episodes covered, or a shorter one covering only the final episode. Maggie will be the one to decide if the finale deserves its own podcast, so we will keep you posted! In these opening episodes of Season 3, Matt is inexplicably fine after the explosion somehow airlifts him from danger, not at all breaking his spine on the way down as it seemed to me. Matt drags himself to someone who can give him a ride to the orphanage where he grew up, and holes up there, while a no-fucking-nonsense nun named Sister Maggie nurses him back to health. It's not long before Sister Maggie tells Matt to get lost, because she's got better shit to do and she's really kind of over his whole self-pity gig. Matt is annoyed, as he expected more sympathy or support or coddling or I don't even know what, but he feels better once a magical neti pot clears his head and some of his super-senses return. One superpower he never lost, however, was his ability to be a self-righteous, self-centered, self-involved douche, and he goes right out into the world and keeps on doing that. Except sometimes Wilson Fisk is there to cheer on the worst parts of him. I'm very interested to hear what you all thought of this trio of episodes, and I will be seeing you soon with another 3!
In the aftermath of his presumed death, Matt Murdock winds up in the care of tougher-than-nails nun Sister Maggie. Karen can't turn the page, despite Foggy's encouragement. And for FBI Special Agent Ray Nadeem, this deal is getting worse all the time. Matt and Pete bear witness to episode 301, “Resurrection.”Thanks as always to everyone who supports the podcast by visiting Patreon.com/PhantasticGeek.Share your feedback for season three of Daredevil: PhantasticGeek@gmail.com, comment at PhantasticGeek.com, or tweet @PhantasticGeek.MP3iTunes
Hey there lovely ACC-tion heroes! On this episode of ACC, Today we’re going to explode the the myth dismantling the idea that super/cape books are shallow. We find the feels from each age: Starting the Silver Age, travel through the Bronze Age, find some gems in the Pockets/Bandoleer/Dark age, and delve into some modern books. Hannah brought this topic up due to an issue of Daredevil, wherein we learn (spoiler!) that Sister Maggie left Matt and Jack Murdock due to postpartum depression (part one and two.) (Editor's note: We also talked about this in our love letter episode, and I wrote up a blog piece for it.) What cape/super-hero books do you read that destroy this myth? You should totally let us know on Twitter, Facebook, or even email us!
