On today's episode of the Craft Industry Alliance podcast, we're talking about product and surface design with my guest Hollei Hayes. Hollei is the owner of Hollei Anne Design Co. After honing her craft for over ten years in the design industry, she made the leap from working in Fortune 500 corporations collaborating with esteemed brands such as Toys R Us and Skip Hop. Now, she's fully immersed in her passion as a Surface and Product designer and has had her art seen in big box retailers like Target, TJ Maxx, Hallmark and more! Today, she's fortunate to own a creative studio where she dedicates her efforts to providing trending art and design to elevate product collections and brand identities for entrepreneurial women in retail for the homegoods, stationery, gift and textile industries. +++++ To get the full show notes for this episode visit Craft Industry Alliance where you can learn more about becoming a member of our supportive trade association. Things are suspiciously uneventful in Riverdale these days, and that's both concerning and refreshing all at the same time. Sure, Kevin's figuring out he might just like boys, and Cheryl is desperately trying to hide she likes girls. Oh, and Archie gets pulled into a livestock show with every socialite boy in Riverdale. Still, there's something unsettling about all of this, not the least of which being that we're seeing an awful lot of storylines we'd already seen in Season 1. Gas up your DeLoreans because Season 7 of Riverdale is stuck in the 50s and we really need to get back to the future where, admittedly, everything still sucks but at least we'd be rid of Veronica's bangs. While Tabitha is working on untangling some timelines to restore the gang to the present day, we're working on untangling some of the ridiculous elements we've already been introduced to in just the first couple of episodes like the fact that these are now fully grown adults acting like 16-year-olds again and Jughead is somehow able to dig up a time capsule that won't be buried for another 60 years... Come along with us as we lovingly hate on this shitshow called Riverdale for one last season before we all get taken out by Bailey's Comet for good. Don't forget to rate and subscribe! Todd Boyle has been an active Baltimore based musician and Harford Countian for decades. His resume touts bands like Kustom Blend, Jon Mauer Trio and Skip Hop and Go Naked, but he's also been called upon to slap the skins for a variety of diverse projects - from punk to metal to grunge. His style is organic with hints of jazz, blues and traditional rock n' roll and he likes to ‘Do it live' as Bill O'Reilly once said, before becoming a popular meme. This episode was produced on August 26, 2021.The other day, I had 25 year jazz improvisation reunion with wing and meat connoisseur Mr. Brian Rumbley. Brian has played in a variety of Mid-Atlantic groups over the years and has an insatiable appetite for music and pushing his own audio boundaries and knowing what's possible when it comes to filling up the low end. He's made a hell of name for himself as a dependable, all-purpose musician. Join me in welcoming Rumbles to The MOG! As always, we did a deep dive into the origin story of this original artist from Baltimore, MD.Special thanks to our sponsors: REB Records, Vagabond Sandwich Company, Baltimore Decal Gal, Black Eyed Suzie's, Music Land, Double Groove Brewery, Caprichos Books

No question is off-limits in the episode. We surprised each other with all the BIG LIFE questions around our son Memphis. Will we baptise him? If so, what? What will you teach him about religion? How will you punish him? What if he smokes, drinks, takes drugs? What will you teach him about money? Will you spoil him? Public or private school? How will you feel when he leaves home? Arghhh this one hit Heidi right in the heart. This episode is, BY FAR the most emotional. We also delved into leaving him messages on the poddy for when we turns 18, and that just broke us both. Grab the tissues. Have you had these conversations with your partner yet? From being forced to layoff his whole staff, to selling his company for $140 million, our next guest, Michael Diamant, has great insight on how he became successful. Michael Diamant created a well-known brand with his wife, called Skip Hop, which was sold to Carter’s for $140 million. It all started with a diaper bag in 2003. Michael and his wife wanted a diaper bag that was fully functional, however, also appealed to a fashion savvy crowd. The company continued to grow for 15 more years creating several more innovative baby care products before they were bought by Carter’s. Now both Michael and his wife continue to work with Carter’s to help grow the brand Skip Hop. Before Michael created a very successful brand, he had a great career and started multiple companies. He has a background in advertising and was a happy employee at MTV.
