It's Spooky Season, Pride listeners! Have you ever heard someone call Halloween Gay Christmas? To help us explore the very queer origins of Halloween, we'll spend some time with two experts in the realm of queer history: Michael Bronski and Marc Stein. We'll also hear from the one and only Tammie Brown, whose Halloween Spectacular is out now on Out TV, about her own experiences with Halloween as a drag queen. And finally, we'll look at how Halloween can remind us of our power and serve as a tool for activism. Tammie Brown's Halloween Spooktacular is out now on OUTtv.com and on AppleTV+ via the OUTtv Channel until October 31st. Watch it here and follow Tammie on Instagram. Drag superstar and "RuPaul's Drag Race" alum Tammie Brown (Virgo sun, Sagittarius moon, Aquarius rising) joins Andy for a lively and thought-provoking birth chart reading and interview. This week it's Tammie Brown and Latrice battling it out to stay in the competition.Plus Mano and Nicole talk about their porn favorites, Nicole talks about her love of a good twitter roast and her brain's unruly power to betray her.Watch along with us!You can now stream all episodes of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars S1 on Hulu at:https://www.hulu.com/series/rupauls-drag-race-all-stars-05f8f8f0-1285-4d32-8749-69d3e935e731You can also steam all seasons of All Stars in most countries (sorry USA) over at Wow Presents Plus: https://worldofwonder.vhx.tv/rupaul-s-drag-race-all-stars.About RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars Season 1:This season features 12 returning contestants representing the first four seasons of Drag Race. Plus Alaska and Willam talk the thrill of entertaining RuPaul, vaginal pH balance, and why Michelle Williams of Destiny's Child doesn't have a career in improv. On episode 31 of #ThatPodcast, LPiddy and Jon Jon spill all the tea on the two events that are taking over social media: Rupaul's Drag Race and Tanacon. LPiddy and Jon Jon do a Rucap on Season 10 of Rupaul's Drag Race. They use their new shade button from World of Wonder Productions. The hosts kiki about the Drag Race Reunion and Grand Finale, on VH1, at the Theater at Ace Hotel in Los Angeles, California. The Top Four Queens, Aquaria, Eureka O'Hara, Asia O'Hara and Kameron Michaels, did a sudden death Lipsync for the Crown. Ultimately, Aquaria took the title of America's Next Drag Superstar. There was also a special appearance by all of the Season 1 queens of Rupaul's Drag Race, including Bebe Zahara Benet, Nina Flowers, Rebecca Glasscock, Shannel, Ongina, Jade Sotomayer, Akashia and Victoria "Porkchop" Parker. For unknown reasons, Tammie Brown was not at the Finale. The Season 10 queens of Rupaul's Drag Race killed it this season. Shoutout to the Season's queens, Aquaria, Eureka O'Hara, Kameron Michaels, Asia O'Hara, Miz Cracker, Monet X. Change, The Vixen, Monique Heart, Blair St. Clair, Mayhem Miller, Dusty Ray Bottoms, Yuhua Hamasaki, Kalorie Karbdashian Williams and Vanessa Vanjie Mateo. Then, LPiddy and Jon Jon follow up on their previous podcast about Tanacon. TanaCon was to take place June 22 and 23, 2018 at the Anaheim Marriott Suites in Anaheim/Garden Grove, California, a short distance from the controversial Vidcon, which was being held in the Anaheim Convention Center, in, of course, Anaheim, California. TanaCon was supposed to be the more inclusive version of Vidcon, due to creator's frustration with safety concerns last year. The irony is that TanaCon was shut down by the Fire Marshall and Anaheim Fire Department due to large crows, riots and, ultimately, safety. According to tweets and reports, TanaCon sold about 5000 non-paid and paid tickets to this year's event. Later reports indicate that over 4000 of the tickets sold were paid VIP badges. Tons of teens swarmed the quaint Anaheim Marriott, with many fans waiting hours to either get into a tight convention or never get in at all. Many are reporting dehydration and sun burns. Shane Dawson created a three-part documentary on the Tanacon disaster. He interviews the two crucial components in this event, Good Times' CEO Michael Weist and Tanacon YouTuber Tana Mongeau. We recommend you check it out on YouTube. Check out Episode 31 of That Podcast to hear LPiddy and Jon Jon dish on Rupaul's Drag Race and Shane Dawson's Docuseries on Tanacon! In our eighth episode of Season 10, we talk about Cher, stupid, the intersections of poverty and race, as well as the intersections of Tammie Brown and Laganja Estranja. League Standings: Charles (Blair, Eureka, Kalorie/ Asia)- 66 Daniel (Dusty Ray Bottoms, Miz Cracker, The Vixen)- 80 Rebecca (Yuhua, Aquaria, Vanessa Mateo/ Monique)- 56 Robert (Monet, Kameron, Mayhem)- 89 League Rules: Each player begins with a team of 3 queens for the entirety of the season. Players earn points if their team members win a mini-challenge (1 point), a maxi challenge (5 points), a lip-sync (5 points), the season (15 points), or Miss Congeniality (10 points). If a player's queen is eliminated, one of the leftover queens can be drafted at a cost of 5 points each as the season progresses. In addition, each week, the players predict what will happen during the episode by guessing the challenge winner (5 points), the two lip-syncers (3 points each), the eliminated queen (5 points), as well as a weekly bonus guess (3 points).
In our third episode of Season 10, we enjoy refreshing tequila sunrises and discuss which queens are starting to pull ahead in the race, how the runway contributes to scoring, and somehow we end up talking about Tammie Brown. Since they recorded this episode a few days early, Julie & Brandy did not cover Memo-Gate 2018. But don't worry, there was plenty bi-partisan buffoonery at the State of the Union address, and the girls dissect it all. After that, they go deep with Rupaul's Drag Race Queen of Environment Activism, Tammie Brown, and then Judge Julie makes a rare appearance. The jury is still out on this episode, because much like the real news, there's a lot gong on, with very little pertinent information. Enjoy! Learn more about your ad choices. Instead of another round of Snatch Game this season, the queens are asked to pull out their best celebrity impersonations for a dragged up Laugh In. Yara gives us an inspired Charo, while Latrice proves that being the Oprah of Drag Race doesn't necessarily mean you can do a good Oprah and Shannel's Lucy is, well, a little loosey goosey. We Mary out on Tammie Brown, Latinx queens, father issues and spending the holidays in Trumplandia. (Stay tuned for a very special bop at the end, Mary's!)
Once upon a time, Drag Race tried pairing up the queens in teams and putting them through mediocre challenges for a handful of episodes before crowning the obvious winner. That's right, Mary—we're revisiting All Stars! This week, the returning queens show off their synergy with a couple photo shoots, but the first eliminated team is obvious from the start. A kooky Tammie Brown and some melodramatic Untucked unrest are our saving graces. Oh, and guess what, Mimi? We also go on an extended tangent about Suzanne Somers.
It's the first group challenge of the series with the queens channeling Destiny's Child in rival girl groups. They even have some inspiration at the judges' panel with special guest judge Beyon—no, not Beyonce, Kelly Row—not, not Kelly Rowlands. Michelle Williams! We discuss the character of Tammie Brown, Akashia as the original self-producer and Shannel as one of many queens who wanted to win too much Plus: Dragula first impressions, fawning over Shelly Long and draggy actors.

The Shade Of It All: A Rucast Podrace for RuPaul's Drag Race
And now dear readers we come to the true close of RPDR's first season. We employed the help of Anonymous and Assange to secure a copy of a long sought after relic, THE lost episode of the lost season: The Reunion! And we go out in style by bathing in the dead-air realness of some truly raw reality show moments, touching our inner Jeff Goldblum and of course walking those children in nature…to get away from Tammie Brown. - (music: http://www.bensound.com)
The Shade Of It All: A Rucast Podrace for RuPaul's Drag Race
Alex, Janine and Katie continue to dig through the time capsule that is Season 1 (aka The Lost Season Ru-vealed!). This week we read Episode Two, explore our childhood lip-sync roots, fear Tammie Brown and rage about appropriating pizza. - (music: http://www.bensound.com)
