Idéen om at en farlig transagenda forfører børn og lokker dem eller ligefrem tvinger dem til at skifte køn, er længe blevet fremført, både blandt kønskritiske influencere og konservative debattører og politikere. I USA har det medført flere omfattende og indgribende lovforslag og endda forbud mod behandling af transkønnede børn, ligesom flere og flere børnehospitaler og læger der arbejder med transkønnede børn oplever trusler og hadkampagner, koordineret af religiøse og politiske ekstremister. Dagsordener og decideret misinformation fra fra kønskritiske influencere spreder sig i medier herhjemme, og påvirker praksis i forhold til behandling af mindreårige i hele norden. Terfs og den kønskritiske bevægelse har taget mainstream sociale medie platforme som Twitter, facebook og Youtube til sig, og bruger det effektivt til at sætte en dagsorden og skabe allancer. Men de har også deres helt egne platforme på mere obskure steder på nettet, og her får man ofte et mere dybdegående indblik i, hvad de egentlig mener, når de tror vi andre ikke læser med.I tredje afsnit af Kønskrigerne har vi besøg af Katy Montgomerie, Caelan Conrad, Emily Gorcenski og Monir Mooghen, som vil forklare hvordan den kønskritiske bevægelse koordinerer digitale aktioner, sætter dagsordener, lukker munden på kritikere og rekrutterer nye medlemmer.Og så skal vi tale om den interne radikaliseringsprocess, der foregår i de mere lukkede kønskritiske fora på nettet.

Hver gang en transkvinde som vægtløfteren Laurel Hubbard eller svømmeren Lia Thomas deltager i en sportskonkurrence, eller måske ligefrem vinder, fylder det spalteplads i medierne og vælter kommentarsporene. Mange er bekymrede for fairness i kvindesport - også folk, der ikke ellers bekymrer sig om kvindesport. En del mener ligefrem, at der er tale om mænd, der skifter køn alene for at vinde medaljer. Men er det virkelig så nemt bare at stille op og konkurrere i kvinde-ligaer som transkvinde? Hvad sker der egentlig med kroppens styrke og hurtighed, når man får hormonterapi? Hvorfor hører vi aldrig om transmænd eller ikke-binære atleter? Og handler hele debatten om “fairness i kvindesport” egentlig overhovedet om sport? Disse og mange andre spørgsmål har vi inviteret volleyball-træner og debattør Nadia Jacobsen, sportsjournalist Karleigh Chardonnay Webb og vært på podcasten De Glemte Atleter Trine Nørgaard Petersen, i studiet for at hjælpe os med at finde svar på. Bathroom Bills & The Dialectic of Oppression Political discourse situated around the minority use of bathrooms has featured significantly in numerous social equality struggles, from the fight to preserve racist Jim Crow laws to the sexist battle to keep the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) from being ratified. Rhetorical themes featuring bathrooms, privacy, and safety concerns are integral aspects of a specific and identifiable political dialectic used to incite, promote, and sustain the fear that an oppressed group may well rape, molest, harass or infect the majority group should equality between the two groups come to pass. In contemporary times, this political dialectic features prominently in narratives supporting North Carolina’s recently passed law mandating that transgender people who’ve not been able to amend their birth certificate use the restroom assigned to them at birth rather than the restroom that matches their transitioned status, irrespective of legal identification or phenotype.
