Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song is an anime television series produced by Wit Studio and created by Tappei Nagatsuki and Eiji Umehara. It aired from April 3 to June 19, 2021. In the year 2056, advances in technology have resulted in the creation of autonomous artificial intelligence and android bodies that can mimic human appearance. However, in order to overcome programming constraints, all AIs are programmed to fulfill one specific "mission". A songstress AI named Vivy is given the mission of making people happy with her songs, and works to one day take the main stage of the amusement park where she works. However, she encounters another AI named Matsumoto who claims to have been sent from 100 years in the future in order to prevent a destructive war between humans and AIs, starting Vivy's 100-year journey to save the world. Alleine die drei Highlights Odd Taxi, Vivy -Fluorite Eye's Song- und die letzte Fruits Basket Staffel reichen schon um diese Season in Erinnerung zu behalten. Mit Shadows House, To Your Eternity oder Nomad: Megalo Box 2 sind aber auch in zweiter Reihe Titel dabei, die sich nicht vor den Highlights verstecken müssen. Dazu kommen Fortsetzungen zu Zombieland Saga und My Hero Academia, die ihre erwartbare Qualität abliefern. The story takes place in "NiaLand," where "dreams, hope, and science" exist together as an AI theme park. The theme park is where the first autonomous humanoid AI is born. Vivy is an AI who sings on stage for park attendees every day, as it is her directive to "make everyone happy through song." She performs wholeheartedly for the attendees in the park. One day, an AI named Matsumoto appears before her. He says he has come from 100 years in the future with the directive of "working with Vivy to correct history, and to stop the war between AI and humans that breaks out 100 years from now." The 100-year journey of the AI songstress Vivy begins. Tappei Nagatsuki and Eiji Umehara created the story and wrote the scripts. Vivy Score is credited with the original story. Shinpei Ezaki is directing the anime at Wit Studio, and Yūsuke Kubo is the assistant director. loundraw is the original character designer, and Yūichi Takahashi is adapting those designs for animation and is also the chief animation director alongside Takuma Ebisu. Satoru Kousaki is composing the music. Kairi Yagi is performing the show's opening theme song "Sing My Pleasure" as the character Vivy. But it hasn’t come up yet in the series where she’s seen Zombie Land Saga – Season 2 has a weird start, but we both enjoyed the first season. Not discussed in the episode, but we have enjoyed the season as it has gone on. Monster Hunter Rise – Joel found the Thunder Serpent Narwa fight the most interesting, but the game isn't suited to his tastes Main Discussion Luffy and company finally make their escape from the great prison! Mr. 2 proves he is above and beyond the MVP of this entire arc, and he will be missed. Buggy and Mr. 3 were actually semi useful, which comes as a surprise, and we love Jinbe! We speculate about what awakened devil fruits could be- is it Zoan specifically? Will Chopper awaken? And a final, special shoutout to Crocodile, so ruthless a mob boss even after all this time.

This week on the Triangle anime and manga review Ozzy and Logan start off by discussing the anime subreddit ratings of this season's anime. Logan takes beef with most of the ratings, but maybe that's the alcohol talking.   Then we review the anime 86 (17:05), a mecha anime that touches on some difficult and uncomfortable topics. Topics like racism, child soldiers, genocide, and other great subject matters. Ozzy highlights the highpoints of the series while Logan struggles with the negative outlook the anime presents.   We then go into Tokyo Revengers (32:05), a time travel story about a nobody in his current timeline, sent back to his youth as a delinquent in an attempt to correct many problems facing him and his friends in the future. An interesting story with many twists and turns.    Then Ozzy and Logan discuss Higehero (47:05) a complicated story about an older male taking in an underage girl off the street to live with him. While both Ozzy and Logan enjoy the idealism of the story, they also struggle with some of the real world implications and complications that accompany such a story.   Finally we review Vivy - Fluorite Eye's Song (1:01:48) A beautifully drawn sci-fi epic about an idol A.I. teaming up with a program from the future to help prevent a robot apocalypse. The highlight of the season thus far.   For Manga, Ozzy gives his opinion on The Duke of Death and His Black Maid (1:21:57) and discusses how it compares to Don't Tease Me Nagataro. Our Recommended manga for next week is Frieren at the Funeral, a story about the elf in the hero party who outlives her companions after the end of their journey. After the end of one journey, she begins another journey of self-discovery.
