On this week's show (more like this month's show but who really knows anymore?) the boys are talking about a little bit of everything. Safe words, Muppets at the museum and the disappointment that was America: The Motion Picture. They also chat about tornados stealing hamburgers, Loki, What If...? and Nick tells stories from the deli. There really is now rhyme or reason this week so just sit back and enjoy the ride! Like the show? Please leave us a review on Apple Podcasts (but only if it's a five star review, if you only like us four stars worth, then we'd really rather you keep your opinion to yourself) or tell a friend. Heck, even if you don't like the show, tell the friend that you really don't like. We'll take the downloads however we can get them.
On this week's episode of Talking Tacos the boys start promoting shit. We're not getting paid...yet. But this was fun. Matt stumbled upon a free newspaper-style comic publication based out of Seattle called Scarfff Comics, and it's awesome! Definitely more to come from these guys. We also do our first hot sauce tasting which awesomely comes from a local private chef company called Casually Sophisticated. We try the second act sauce this week. Plus, Chris sells us on an apparently bonkers Channing Tatum movie called America: The Motion Picture.
No time for flowery language today, we discuss all the things: Ch'King sandwich, Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, The Lost World novel & film, Vicious Fun (Shudder Original), Host (Shudder), The Resort (Hulu), Hell House LLC, A Vigilante, Freaky, The Hunt, Slither, Night of the Creeps, Manhunter, Space Jam: A New Legacy, America: The Motion Picture, Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point (DC Comics), The Rutland Halloween Crossover (Marvel/DC comics), Thirsty (Hulu), Barb & Star Go to Vista Del Mar, Butter, and Drop Dead Gorgeous! America: The Motion Picture has been ravaged by the critics, so the Movie Power Hour is here to shine a light on this hilarious gem. Directed by Matt Thompsn, known for producing the hit show Archer, and produced by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, producers of Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse, you would expect America: The Motion Picture to be a sure fire hit. Also, Channing Tatum stars as George Washington himself. Join the team as they try to figure out why this movie was so critically panned.

Mike, Peter and Jon get metaphysical and go to some weird places! The boys contemplate the unlimited mysteries of multiversal science, ruminate on a unique take on those purple mountains majesty in Netflix' "America: The Motion Picture", and deliberate on a new video game concept so extreme, it just might tear the crew apart! Also, Jon plans the rise of his dangerous empire. Better tune in...you know, just to be safe.
This week we open up with high energy from Jonathan, talk a bit of Spanish and not really talk about anything in particular. Welcome to our first in-person recording of What's New to Netflix Instant!? in fifteen months! We have one-time guest of the show, Savannah, to join in on the fun as we go through all of the new films and titles coming to Netflix in July 2021. Then when Diane Lane gets kidnapped by an evil biker gang led by Willem Dafoe, it's up to her ex-boyfriend and a band of misfits to rescue her in the rock and roll fable, Streets of Fire from 1984. Next, Liam Neeson and his brother have to transport cargo to save a group of trapped miners, but aside from dodging bad guys and avalanches they have to drive on roads made of thin ice in The Ice Road from 2021. And finally, it's the completely inaccurate story of America animated through the lens of Adult Swim-styled irreverence and crude humor in America: The Motion Picture from 2021. All of this plus we sincerely apologize for the glitchy and annoying audio quality that appears near the end of the ‘July releases' portion of the episode, however it seems to clear up significantly during our movie reviews. It was our first time recording IRL in a year and a half so cut us some slack! got a suggestion for the show?: whatsnewtonetflixinstant@gmail.com
