Sunday Edition Presents: Austin Linton What happens when a self described adrenaline junkie, entrepreneur, storyteller and advocate is told that life as he knows it is about to change forever? This week, I sit down with Austin Linton, founder of Rare Perspective Co., for an honest and inspiring conversation about vision loss, resilience, adventure, identity and finding purpose in the unexpected. At just 25 years old, Austin was diagnosed with Usher Syndrome Type 2A, a progressive condition affecting both vision and hearing. The diagnosis forced him to rethink nearly every aspect of his life, from independence and identity to the future he had imagined for himself. Before vision loss, Austin chased adventure through skateboarding, snowboarding, motorcycles, travel and anything that pushed him beyond his comfort zone. What makes his story so compelling is that he never stopped chasing adventure. He simply found a new path forward. We will talk about the turning points along his journey, the challenges of adapting to vision loss, mental health, personal growth and how he transformed a life changing diagnosis into a mission of awareness, advocacy and connection. We will also explore the story behind Rare Perspective Co., the growing movement that uses storytelling, apparel and community engagement to challenge assumptions about blindness and low vision while encouraging all of us to see the world through a different lens. And yes, we will talk about the Icebreaker Series, including this month's featured Icebreaker story starring yours truly, Anthony Corona, Guide Dog Bodie and a plate of meatballs that took every ounce of my willpower not to join him on the floor and scarf down a few myself. You can listen to the icebreaker story and search others by clicking the link below,: Perspective shapes everything. This conversation may just change yours. CONFESSIONS ON THE DANCE FLOOR: THE VISUAL EXPERIENCE The Sunday Edition Family of Podcasts and Digital Media Content Services In Partnership with Aira LET US TELL YOU WHAT WE SEE She has the world talking again. In this special Pride Month edition of the Sunday Edition Family of Podcasts, Anthony Corona welcomed Jenine Stanley from Aira, visual interpreters Peter and Jeremiah, and lifelong friend Lori for a one of a kind visual exploration of Madonna's Confessions II The Film. Together, the panel guided listeners through the visual storytelling, symbolism, fashion, choreography, celebrity cameos, LGBTQIA plus themes, accessibility discussions, and hidden Easter eggs woven throughout Madonna's ambitious 13 minute visual companion piece to Confessions on the Dance Floor Part Two. This event also marked the official launch of our new conversation series, Let Us Tell You What We See, bringing together blind, low vision, and sighted audiences to experience visual art, entertainment, and culture through shared description and discussion. THE FILM Directed by the creative team TORSO, Confessions II The Film serves as both a visual companion to Madonna's upcoming album and a celebration of the dance floor as a place of freedom, identity, community, and reinvention. The film unfolds in a series of dreamlike chapters that blend music video, performance art, fashion film, nightclub fantasy, and personal reflection. Among the visual settings discussed: An ethereal forest sequence filled with dreamlike imagery, symbolic figures, spiritual undertones, and a sense of rebirth and transformation. A sprawling nightclub environment paying tribute to New York dance culture and the legendary Danceteria club where Madonna's early career began. A chaotic and intentionally provocative restroom sequence that serves as a crossroads for celebrity cameos, gender expression, identity, performance, and self reflection. Industrial spaces, dance floors, hidden corridors, backstage environments, and cinematic transitions that blur the line between fantasy and reality. Throughout the film, Madonna moves between observer, participant, storyteller, icon, and myth. THE EASTER EGGS One of the highlights of the discussion was identifying the many hidden references and callbacks embedded throughout the film. Among the most talked about: Debi Mazar appears in the film. Her appearance is especially meaningful given her decades long friendship with Madonna that dates back to their earliest New York years before either became a household name. Julia Garner appears throughout the film. Fans immediately connected her presence to ongoing discussions surrounding Madonna's long anticipated biographical film. One of the most talked about visual moments involves Madonna and Garner sharing imagery that feels symbolic of legacy, influence, and artistic succession. Lourdes Leon appears throughout the film and is ultimately revealed as a central figure in the story's final moments. Her appearance sparked discussion among participants about generational legacy, artistic inheritance, and the continuing evolution of Madonna's creative universe. The nightclub sequences contain visual and emotional callbacks to Danceteria, the legendary New York club that helped shape Madonna's artistic identity during the earliest days of her career. Visual references throughout the film appear to connect to earlier Madonna projects including Bedtime Story, Rain, Secret Project Revolution, Erotica, Vogue, Confessions on a Dance Floor, The Reinvention Tour, and numerous other eras that longtime fans immediately recognized. The film repeatedly returns to the dance floor as a symbol of liberation, chosen family, queer visibility, self expression, survival, joy, and reinvention. CELEBRITY CAMEOS The film features an impressive collection of celebrity appearances and visual cameos including: Debi Mazar Julia Garner Kate Moss Benedict Cumberbatch Richard E. Grant Gwendoline Christie Sabrina Carpenter Honey Dijon Arca Shygirl Odessa A'zion Archie Madekwe Lourdes Leon Cole Palmer Joao Pedro And many others who appear throughout the film's dreamlike narrative. TIMES SQUARE, PRIDE, AND A NEW ERA The conversation also revisited Madonna's surprise Pride Month performance in Times Square that generated headlines around the world. Participants discussed the enormous crowd that filled Times Square, creating an atmosphere many compared to New Year's Eve moments before the ball drops. The performance celebrated Pride, self expression, community, freedom, and the enduring power of the dance floor. Listeners explored how the Times Square event functions as both a celebration of Madonna's past and a launchpad for her future as she prepares to release Confessions on the Dance Floor Part Two on July 3. The discussion also touched on the staging, visual presentation, costuming, choreography, and the ways Madonna continues to use public spaces to create communal experiences centered around music, identity, and belonging. PRIDE, COMMUNITY, AND ACCESSIBILITY The conversation explored how the film continues Madonna's decades long relationship with LGBTQIA plus audiences. From the dance floor as sanctuary to the celebration of gender expression, identity, self determination, and chosen family, listeners discussed how many of the film's visual themes resonate deeply within Pride Month and queer culture. The event itself reflected that spirit by bringing together blind, low vision, and sighted participants in a shared visual experience. AIRA GIVEAWAY Thanks to our friends at Aira, two listeners will receive 30 minute Aira packages. The details on how to qualify and claim these packages are included within the podcast episode. You'll have to listen to learn how to enter and win. BEYOND THE FILM: THE FUTURE OF ACCESS Toward the end of the conversation, Jenine Stanley joined Anthony to discuss exciting developments happening at Aira. The discussion included Aira's Trusted Tester initiative and Build AI efforts, both of which are helping shape the future of visual interpreting and accessible technology. Listeners learned how blind and low vision users are helping guide the development of emerging technologies through real world testing, feedback, and collaboration. The conversation emphasized that accessibility works best when innovation is guided by lived experience, community involvement, and meaningful partnerships between technology developers and users. Sunday Edition with Anthony Corona Shelley Keeland, Breaking Barriers One Word at a Time What does it take to turn determination, talent, and a dream into a career that many believed was impossible? This week on Sunday Edition, Anthony welcomed Shelley Keeland for an inspiring and heartfelt conversation about her life, her journey, and more than three decades as one of the nation's pioneering blind court reporters. Born totally blind and raised in Arkansas, Shelley attended the Arkansas School for the Blind before earning a degree in Political Science from Hendrix College. Encouraged by family, shaped by life on her grandparents' farm, and driven by a love of language, grammar, and the legal system, Shelley set her sights on a profession that few believed a blind person could successfully enter. Court reporting is one of the most demanding professions in the legal field, requiring speeds of 225 words per minute combined with extraordinary accuracy and attention to detail. Shelley became one of the first blind court reporters in the United States, overcoming inaccessible technology, professional skepticism, discrimination, and countless barriers along the way. During this wide ranging conversation, Shelley shared stories from her remarkable career, the mentors and supporters who helped make her success possible, and the realities of working as a professional court reporter in a field where precision matters every single day. We were also honored to be joined by Judge Byrd, affectionately known as Tea Byrd, who worked alongside Shelley for many years. Judge Byrd offered valuable insight from an employer's perspective and shared observations about Shelley's professionalism, dedication, work ethic, and the tremendous respect she earned from judges, attorneys, coworkers, and court personnel throughout her career. Several friends also joined the conversation, including Larry, Shelley's former technology counselor, who reflected on her persistence, determination, and willingness to tackle challenges that would have discouraged many others. Together, we explored topics including inaccessible software, personal and professional advocacy, workplace accommodations, ethics, problem solving, and the creative workarounds often required when technology and systems fail to meet the needs of blind professionals. Perhaps most importantly, Shelley reminded us that success often belongs to those who refuse to give up. Throughout the discussion, we encouraged listeners to pursue careers that align with both their talents and their passions and to remember that one no, two no's, or even ten no's do not have to define the outcome. Shelley's story is a powerful reminder that determination, preparation, advocacy, and resilience can open doors that others insist should remain closed. If you have ever wondered whether a dream is worth pursuing, this conversation offers a compelling answer. Sit back and enjoy this uplifting and inspiring episode of Sunday Edition. A classically trained mezzo soprano, Danielle has been singing since childhood, developing a rich and expressive vocal style that combines technical precision with emotional depth. Her creative journey has led her to become the producer behind The Amirra McCoy Project, an AI generated musical artist that blends classical influences with modern technology to create original and compelling music. May I… The Comfort of Joy and the Practical Application of May I Concepts Presented by the Sunday Edition Family of Podcasts in partnership with Bold Blind Beauty Special Guest: Gabriel Lopez Kafati In this powerful and deeply reflective final installment of the May I conversation series, the Sunday Edition Family of Podcasts and Bold Blind Beauty bring together the emotional and practical lessons explored throughout the series and ask one final question: How do we actually carry these ideas into everyday life? Over the course of this conversation series, we have explored mindfulness, emotional awareness, confidence, connection, healing, movement, survival, identity, and self trust. This concluding discussion focuses on how we continue applying those lessons in practical, sustainable, and emotionally healthy ways. The first half of the conversation centers around harnessing joy. Not performative joy. Not forced positivity. Real joy. The small moments that ground us, restore us, nourish us, and help us continue forward even during overwhelming seasons of life. Special guest Gabriel Lopez Kafati leads this portion of the discussion with reflections on sustainable joy, emotional grounding, and allowing ourselves moments of peace without guilt. The second half of the the conversation turns toward practical emotional application. Anthony Corona introduces the concept of the emotional internal inventory while Steph of Bold Blind Beauty explores the idea of the internal white cane. Together, the panel examines how intuition, emotional awareness, boundaries, gut feelings, tension, peace, exhaustion, excitement, and self trust all serve as navigation tools within our emotional environments just as a white cane helps navigate physical spaces. Topics explored throughout the conversation include: Harnessing joy during difficult times Allowing ourselves peace without guilt Balancing advocacy, caregiving, and emotional survival Holding joy and pain simultaneously Emotional awareness and pattern recognition The emotional internal inventory The internal white cane Boundaries and emotional self trust Recognizing intuition versus anxiety Practical emotional check ins Rest, healing, and sustainable self care The conversation closes with a moving fill in the blank reflection exercise centered around the recurring phrase: May I… Listeners are encouraged to revisit all installments of the May I series through the Sunday Edition Family of Podcasts and Bold Blind Beauty and continue these conversations within their own communities, friendships, workplaces, and personal lives. May I… Getting Out There Presented by the Sunday Edition Family of Podcasts in partnership with Bold Blind Beauty In conversation three of our four part May I series, we explore what it means to reconnect with the world around us while navigating disability, advocacy, emotional wellness, and the realities of accessibility. Together we discuss the pause before opening the door, the emotional preparation behind everyday outings, and the balance between self care and isolation. We examine internal barriers such as anxiety, burnout, fear of embarrassment, trauma, and the exhaustion that can come from constantly advocating for ourselves. We also tackle external barriers including inaccessible businesses and websites, transportation struggles, public assumptions, poor accommodation practices, and the difference between performative accessibility and true inclusion. Most importantly, this conversation focuses on reclaiming joy. Recreation, friendship, movement, laughter, travel, hobbies, community spaces, and the simple act of participating in the world matter. Joy is not frivolous. Joy is part of survival. This week we continue the conversation with our final installment, focusing on joy and the practical application of everything we have explored together so far. We will discuss how to remain open to the world while still protecting our mental health, emotional well being, boundaries, and sense of self as advocates and human beings. New Spoken Word Podcast Release The Weight We Carry, The Love We Return This week's spoken word reflection is one of the most personal pieces I've shared in a long time. It is about caregiving.About aging.About guide dogs and family.About emotional exhaustion.About boundaries.About losing people.About discovering who stays.About advocacy fatigue.About learning that love is not only found in celebration, but in the difficult seasons when we quietly carry one another through pain, change and uncertainty. As my partner helps his family pack away a lifetime of memories and our retired guide dog queen Posh faces difficult health struggles here at home, I found myself reflecting on grief, responsibility, emotional labor, friendship, resilience and the complicated weight many of us carry silently every day. This is not just an article anymore. It is now a spoken word conversation from the heart. If you have ever felt emotionally stretched thin while still trying to show up for the people and communities you love, I think this one may speak to you. P May I… Boldly Beautiful The Space Between Presented by the Sunday Edition Family of Podcasts In partnership with Bold Blind Beauty recorded-Wednesday at 4 PM Eastern Part 1 is in the podcast thread... Join us for a thoughtful, soul centered, and deeply human conversation as we continue the May I… series with a powerful new discussion exploring mindfulness, self awareness, emotional navigation, and the sacred pause between stimulus and response. This special conversation will be led by Stephanae McCoy, founder of Bold Blind Beauty, and will invite us into what Bold Blind Beauty calls “The Space Between,” that quiet internal place where self awareness becomes our boldest compass. Together we will explore questions like: What does your internal space feel like when life becomes overwhelming. How do we slow ourselves down in a world that constantly demands reaction. Can mindfulness become a kind of white cane for the mind, helping us navigate emotional obstacles before we collide with them. How do access, inclusion, and representation apply not only to the world around us, but also to the relationship we have with ourselves. This conversation will gently explore emotional blind spots, self acceptance, internal vision, mindfulness practices, and the beauty that can exist inside the pause itself. We will also discuss how accepting our blindness, whether physical, emotional, or metaphorical, can actually strengthen the way we move through the world with intention, compassion, and courage. This is not a lecture. It is a conversation. A space for reflection. A space for honesty. A space for breath. Whether you are blind, low vision, disabled, neurodivergent, navigating stress, burnout, grief, growth, or simply searching for a moment to reconnect with yourself, you are welcome here. If you would like to join the conversation live, or if you have questions, thoughts, or comments you would like included in the discussion, please email: SundayEdition@anthonycorona.com Take a breath. Sunday Edition Presents Getting to Know Robyn Bradley Wallen And An Introduction to Her Conversations on Horizontal Hostility Join us on the next Sunday Edition as Anthony Corona welcomes longtime advocate, transportation activist, and community voice Robyn Bradley Wallen for an honest, thoughtful, and deeply important conversation about disability advocacy, coalition building, and the difficult realities of what is known as “horizontal hostility” within marginalized communities. Born with congenital cataracts and navigating a world built with barriers at every turn, Robyn transformed personal frustration into decades of impactful advocacy. From fighting inaccessible paratransit systems while working for TWA Airlines, to helping pave the way for rideshare access in St. Louis, to serving on transportation and accessibility commissions, Robyn's work has centered on accountability, empowerment, and making sure disabled voices are not left behind. Her advocacy journey has taken her through leadership roles with the National Federation of the Blind, the Missouri Council of the Blind, transportation committees, grassroots organizing, media interviews, op eds, lawsuits, and public policy conversations. Along the way, one difficult question kept surfacing: Why do marginalized communities sometimes struggle to support one another? That question led Robyn into a deep exploration of “horizontal hostility,” the tension, infighting, and division that can emerge within oppressed groups themselves. It is a conversation that resonates far beyond disability advocacy and one Robyn has been unpacking through powerful discussions on social media and in advocacy circles. This Sunday's episode is not about blame. It is about honesty. It is about growth. It is about understanding how communities heal, fracture, rebuild, and move forward together. Robyn will also be sharing details about her upcoming podcast joining the Sunday Edition family, where these advocacy conversations and many more will continue. Sunday Edition airs live on 2020 The Beacon and Corona FM at 1 PM Eastern and can be found wherever you listen to podcasts the following day by searching for Sunday Edition with Anthony Corona. Take 2 Radio, the Remix In Partnership with the Sunday Edition Family of Podcasts and Digital Media Content Services A Conversation and a Surprise with Pete Montzingo Sometimes the internet gives us noise. Sometimes it gives us distraction. And sometimes it gives us somebody like Pete Montzingo. Content creator. Musician. Storyteller. Author. Chaos gremlin with a giant heart and a camera rolling at just the right moment. In this heartfelt, hilarious and surprisingly emotional episode of Take 2 Radio, the Remix, hosts Pam and Anthony sit down with viral creator and musician Pete Montzingo for a conversation about family, authenticity, creativity, ADHD, music, resilience and the beauty of embracing what makes us different. Growing up as the only average height member in a family of five with dwarfism, Pete shares how humor, storytelling and persistence shaped his journey into entertainment. From failed early vlogs and boy band dreams to becoming a viral sensation during the pandemic, Pete reflects on the winding road that brought him to millions of followers and an audience that connects deeply with his honesty and vulnerability. Pete also opens up about living with ADHD and the balancing act of navigating impulsivity, creativity, overstimulation and focus while building a career online. He speaks candidly about learning to work with his brain instead of constantly fighting against it. The conversation dives into family dynamics, internet fame and the realities of sharing your personal life online. Pete discusses trolls, negativity and how humor and empathy have become some of his most powerful tools for surviving social media culture without losing himself in it. We also talk about one of Pete's proudest accomplishments, self publishing his children's book: Little Imperfections, A Tall Tale of Growing Up Different. The book reflects Pete's own experiences growing up surrounded by dwarfism and celebrates individuality, compassion and the reminder that our differences are often the very things that connect us. But perhaps the most touching moment of the episode arrives when Pete reveals a very special Mother's Day surprise. Dropping today on Mother's Day is his brand new song: And the Room Goes Quiet for You. Written as a tribute to his mother, the song celebrates beauty, strength, unconditional love and the quiet power of someone who becomes the emotional center of a family. Pete shares how nervous and excited he is for his mother to finally hear it, and throughout the conversation it becomes clear that while the song may honor his mom specifically, its message speaks to love in all its forms. The episode closes with the song itself, creating one of the most moving endings we have experienced on Take 2 Radio, the Remix. Join us for laughter, honesty, music, family stories and a reminder that imperfections are often where the real magic begins. In this special release, Anthony Corona steps behind the microphone for a heartfelt homage to Madonna with his own spirited interpretation of I Feel So Free, the promotional single from the upcoming album Confessions on the Dance Floor Part 2. This is not simply karaoke. This is karaoke plus. A little theatrical. A little nostalgic. A little sweaty disco ball magic at 2 AM. Featuring additional remixing, atmospheric textures, layered vocals and playful surprises by Anthony's friend Holly Anderson, the performance blends classic Madonna inspiration with Anthony's own storytelling energy and dramatic flair. The track pulses with echoes of Into the Groove, the hypnotic heartbeat of Donna Summer's I Feel Love and the fearless release of a crowded dance floor where strangers become family for one glitter soaked evening. At its core, the song becomes a celebration of identity, freedom, joy and the healing power of music. It is about safety in numbers. It is about chosen family. It is about surviving the world outside long enough to lose yourself inside the rhythm for a little while. Part homage. Part remix. Part performance art. Part late night living room dance party with the furniture pushed dangerously too close to the walls. This bonus episode also shines a light on the growing Sunday Edition family of podcasts and digital media projects. Listeners can explore all Sunday Edition programming, special events and streaming content anytime at: www.anthonycorona.com Simply click the Corona FM tab to listen live 24 hours a day. Sunday Edition PresentsIntimate Evening with Annie Recorded Monday Evening, May 4 What began as an evening of music and conversation quickly unfolded into something even more meaningful, a heartfelt gathering centered around faith, resilience, responsibility, storytelling, humor, and the beauty of finding your voice in a complicated world. Anthony welcomed classically trained soprano, storyteller, actor, comedian, educator, and audiobook narrator Annie Donnellon for a deeply personal and emotionally rich conversation about her journey through blindness, music, spirituality, performance, and life itself. Throughout the evening Annie shared reflections on growing up blind in Cincinnati, her relationship with sacred music, and the ways humor, faith, creativity, and perseverance helped shape her path both personally and professionally. The conversation moved naturally between laughter, vulnerability, music, and meaningful reflection, creating the kind of atmosphere that has become the heart of the Intimate Evening with… series. Listeners were also treated to a beautiful surprise appearance from author Cheryl McNeil Fisher, whose book Apple Batter Up Annie recently narrated in audiobook form. Cheryl joined the conversation live to discuss the collaboration, storytelling, and the power of authentic voice in audiobook narration and disability representation. Sunday Edition: The Mirror and the Divide, How We See Ourselves and Each Other In this powerful and deeply reflective episode, Anthony Corona brings forward a conversation that was moved up in response to a post from friend of the show Jennifer and a last minute scheduling change. What emerged was not just a discussion, but an urgent and necessary dialogue about identity, perception, and the fractures within the blind and low vision community. Anthony is joined by a dynamic panel including Jennifer Bazer, President of the Palmetto Council of the Blind in South Carolina, along with Robin, Margot, Sarah, and Mark Riker. Later in the episode, Gabriel Lopez Kafati joins the conversation to offer insight on the social contract and how it applies across the blind community, marginalized communities, and humanity as a whole. The episode explores how we see ourselves and how we see each other, and how those perceptions shape our responses, our advocacy, and our sense of belonging. At times quiet, at times intense, the conversation does not shy away from discomfort. Anthony shares a personal experience involving a recent paratransit incident and reflects on the very different public reactions to his story compared to a similar experience shared by Jennifer. Jennifer recounts a deeply upsetting situation at a retail store while on vacation, where she and her children were denied service, mocked, and faced public backlash after sharing her story online. Some responses even questioned her parenting, highlighting the harsh and often unfair judgment that can surface within our own community. Together, the panel unpacks these moments and the broader patterns they reveal. They discuss the importance of pausing before reacting, the impact of public perception, and the responsibility we all carry in shaping narratives through our words and actions. The conversation also touches on the concept of horizontal hostility, the ways in which harm, frustration, and internalized bias can be redirected within our own community and across the broader disability community, often influenced by the pressure and tone of larger national conversations. The panel reflects on how these dynamics can deepen division if left unexamined and how awareness of them can help shift us toward more intentional and supportive engagement. Key themes throughout the episode include self reflection, accountability, and the recognition that bias exists in all of us. The panel emphasizes the importance of empathy, respectful communication, and community support when navigating conflict and misunderstanding. The conversation also confronts the silence that can exist in moments of harm. What does it mean when we choose not to speak. How does that silence contribute to deeper division. And how can we move forward in a way that builds connection instead of reinforcing separation. This episode is both a mirror and a challenge. It asks listeners to examine their own perspectives while inviting them into a larger conversation about growth, advocacy, and unity. Anthony closes the episode by thanking the panelists for their honesty and vulnerability and encourages continued dialogue. The message is clear, meaningful change begins with listening, with empathy, and with the courage to engage. This conversation is only the beginning, part one of a larger dialogue that will continue. A follow up conversation will be scheduled soon to explore these themes further with audience and community members. If you would like to be a part of this ongoing conversation after listening to this episode, please send an email to: Sundayedition@anthonycorona.com Sunday Edition airs every Sunday at 1 PM Eastern. An Intimate Evening With… Curtis Delzer Settle in, dim the lights, and let the music tell the story. This Monday, The Sunday Edition Family invites you into a deeply personal and richly melodic conversation with Curtis Delzer, a man whose life has been shaped not by limitation, but by love, sound, and a relentless rhythm of possibility. Born in Lodi, California, pronounced load eye, Curtis entered a world where his parents did not yet know how to raise a blind child. What they did know was love. And from that love, something remarkable grew. Educated in public schools in Stockton, Curtis discovered his gift early. Music was not just a skill, it was a language, a compass, a calling. That calling led him into a professional career filled with performance, storytelling, and unforgettable moments in the industry. From country stages to broadcast waves, from ham radio signals stretching across distance to chance encounters that feel almost cosmic, Curtis brings a lifetime of stories that remind us just how small the world can be when connection is real. And yes, there may even be a surprise involving yours truly, because as Curtis puts it, you never know who you will bump into over long distance radio or across the digital airwaves. This is more than an interview. It is a journey through music, memory, and the beautiful unpredictability of a life well lived. Expect laughter, insight, a few behind the scenes gems, and the kind of storytelling that lingers like the last note of a song you are not quite ready to end. Think Roy Orbison, think classic country soul, think the road stretching out beneath a wide open sky. Join us for a night where every note has a story and every story sings. pisode Notes Notes go here Support Sunday Edition with Anthony Corona by contributing to their tip jar: https://tips.pinecast.com/jar/acb-sunday-edition Find out more at https://acb-sunday-edition.pinecast.co This podcast is powered by Pinecast.

Courageous Conversations: Vulnerability Presented by the Sunday Edition family of podcasts and digital media content services Quote "When we were children, we used to think that when we were grown up we would no longer be vulnerable. But to grow up is to accept vulnerability. To be alive is to be vulnerable." Madeleine L Engle Overview This episode marks the closing conversation of the Lenten series, bringing together reflections from weeks of dialogue centered on faith, truth, forgiveness, and community. Rather than arriving at simple answers, this final discussion embraces the complexity and honesty of vulnerability as an essential part of the human experience. Theme Vulnerability is explored not as weakness, but as the foundation of courage, connection, and authentic living. In a world that often feels overwhelming and fast moving, this conversation invites participants to consider how to remain open, grounded, and human. Key Discussion Points How do we hold onto our vulnerability without allowing the world to harden us How do we continue to seek joy in the midst of uncertainty and emotional noise How do we recognize and hold onto the blessings in our lives when everything feels heavy What does it mean to live courageously in a world that often rewards emotional armor over openness Reflection Grounded in the words of Madeleine L Engle, this episode reminds us that vulnerability is not something we outgrow, but something we grow into. To be fully alive is to accept the risk of being seen and known, and to understand that true community requires both. Acknowledgments Special thanks to Lorna, Mark, and Gabriel for their insight, honesty, and partnership throughout this series Gratitude to special guests Judy and Jane for sharing their journeys with openness and courage Deep appreciation to all listeners who contributed their stories, encouragement, and presence throughout these conversations Closing Invitation This episode offers a space for honest reflection, shared humanity, and meaningful dialogue as the series comes to a close For more Sunday Edition content and additional conversations in the Courageous Conversations, Faith in Modern Times, and Self Care and Mental Health series, visit www.anthonycorona.com pisode Notes Notes go here Support Sunday Edition with Anthony Corona by contributing to their tip jar: https://tips.pinecast.com/jar/acb-sunday-edition Find out more at https://acb-sunday-edition.pinecast.co This podcast is powered by Pinecast.

Courageous Conversations: The Covenant of Community Part Two Special new night Wednesday March 18 at 8 PM Eastern Community is often spoken of as sacred connection. But if we are honest, community is also where things can break. People disappoint one another. Values clash. Faith is tested. Trust is shaken. If community feels easy when we agree, then the real work of community begins when we do not. In part two of this powerful and necessary conversation, we turn toward the hard questions that so many of us face but rarely explore together. What happens when someone within our community acts against the values we hold How do we respond with both accountability and compassion Can we remain connected while still standing firmly in our beliefs Guided by reflections from scripture and grounded in real world experience, this conversation invites us into the tension between truth and grace, between conviction and connection. Because community is not always comfortable. It asks for patience, humility, courage, and sometimes the willingness to stay present even when everything inside us says to walk away. And yet, it is often in these very moments that the sacred becomes most visible. Join us for a conversation that does not look away from fracture, but instead asks what it means to repair, to reconcile, and to remain. Treading the Waters of Life with Sylvia Stinson-Perez A member of the Sunday Edition family of podcasts Episode Title: The Voices We Carry – Rewriting the Story We Tell Ourselves What if the voice inside your head isn't telling the truth? In this powerful and deeply human episode of Treading the Waters of Life, host Sylvia Stinson-Perez invites listeners into a meaningful conversation about the inner voices that shape our confidence, our choices, and our sense of belonging. We all carry voices. Some come from childhood. Some from moments of criticism or failure. Some from expectations placed on us by family, culture, or society. Over time, those voices can become the soundtrack of our lives. They whisper things like:“You're not good enough.”“Who do you think you are?”“Don't try—you might fail.” But here's the truth Sylvia explores in this episode: Just because a voice lives in your mind doesn't mean it's telling you the truth. Together with guests Gabriel Lopez Kafati, Anthony Corona, and Nikki Jeffords, Sylvia dives into an honest, humorous, and insightful conversation about self-talk, imposter syndrome, shame, growth, and the courage to rewrite our internal narrative. This episode is full of reflection, laughter, and practical tools to help you transform the voice inside your head from critic to ally.

Sunday Edition with Anthony CoronaThe importance of puppy, raising and guide dogs for running…Podcasting For Good This week on Sunday Edition we are proud to take part in something truly special. Sunday Edition was invited to participate in Podcastathon 2026, a global initiative bringing together thousands of podcasts from around the world for a single purpose: highlighting nonprofits, innovation, and the people doing extraordinary work to make our communities better. It felt like the perfect marriage. This month Sunday Edition celebrates six years of incredible conversations, education, advocacy, and yes, plenty of fun along the way. Being part of a worldwide moment where podcasters turn their microphones toward organizations making a difference felt exactly right. For our contribution to Podcastathon, we sat down with representatives from Guiding Eyes for the Blind to explore two fascinating and deeply inspiring programs. First, we talked about the innovative Running Guides program, which helps bridge the gap between disability and activity by pairing blind and visually impaired runners with specially trained guide dogs so they can run safely and independently. We also explored the incredible journey of puppy raising. These remarkable volunteers welcome a future guide dog into their homes for roughly a year and a half, helping shape the temperament, discipline, and confidence that will one day allow that dog to become a highly skilled professional guide. It is an act of generosity, patience, and love that ultimately leads to life changing partnerships. Joining the conversation were Kerry Lemerise, Regional Puppy Program Manager East, and Jolene Hollister, Manager of Running Guides. Together they share insight into the dedication behind these programs, the people who make them possible, and the dogs who will one day transform someone's independence. It was an incredible conversation and I truly cannot wait for you all to hear it. Courageous Conversations: The Trinity of Truth In this episode of Courageous Conversations: Faith in Modern Times, the microphone is turned over to Lorna, who guides a powerful and probing dialogue centered on a timely theme: Truth Through the Lens of Blindness. What is truth when the world feels louder than ever? When culture shouts, politics spins, and faith communities wrestle with doubt and devotion, how do we hold on to what is real? And what does truth mean when you navigate life without physical sight, yet experience clarity of spirit and perspective? Joining Lorna on the panel are Anthony Corona, Judy Barclay, and Mark Richert. Together they explore truth intellectually, spiritually, and personally, drawing from lived experience, reflection, and faith traditions. Throughout the conversation, the panel reflects on words that stretch the soul and invite deeper contemplation: “We are closest to God in the darkness, stumbling along blindly.” Madeleine L'Engle “For now we see through a glass, darkly…” 1 Corinthians 13:12 “Do not accept anything as the truth if it lacks love. And do not accept anything as love which lacks truth.” St. Edith Stein Guided by questions that refuse to stay shallow, the discussion explores: What comes to mind when you hear the word truth? How do you hold onto what you believe in a culture full of competing claims? As a person who is blind, how does the language of “seeing the truth” or being “blind to the truth” resonate with you? In what ways has blindness shaped your understanding of spiritual sight? Can truth exist without love? Can love exist without truth? Is there a truth you hold now that you might not have discovered without vision loss? Courageous Conversations is not a spectator sport. It is a shared table where lived experience, faith, doubt, and discovery all have a place. Intimate Evening with Debbie Hazelton Join us this Monday at 8 PM Eastern for Intimate Evening with Debbie Hazelton on 2020 The Beacon and Corona FM. This promises to be a rich, soulful conversation with a woman whose life has been defined by courage, curiosity, faith, intellect, and trailblazing service. We will also journey with Debbie through her music and creative expression, weaving the thick threads of spirit, story, scholarship, and song into an intimate conversation that hums with memory and meaning. Ordained since 1991 as a New Thought Interfaith minister, Debbie Hazelton has spent decades weaving together spirituality, psychology, advocacy, and holistic healing. Blind since birth and born three months premature with only a slim chance of survival, Debbie's life began as a story of improbable resilience. From early Braille lessons to public speaking in the 1960s, from earning her BA with Highest Honors and a Masters in Humanistic Psychology to completing an Educational Specialist degree with distinction, she has consistently followed a path of experiential learning and bold exploration. Her groundbreaking program on dealing with differentness, featuring her powerful headband activity, challenged audiences across conferences, colleges, airports and healthcare systems to confront labels and see one another more fully. Debbie is the author of two influential books, The Courage To See: Daily Affirmations For Healing The Shame Within and Solving The Self-esteem Puzzle: A Guide For Moving From Piece To Peace. Her first book sold 30000 copies in its first year and was translated into Chinese and Japanese. Over the years she has served as a licensed mental health counselor, coordinator of disabled student services, college professor, outreach coordinator and contributing editor, Reiki master, licensed massage therapist, and holistic practitioner. Today she continues teaching nursing students, using Braille, embosser technology, PowerPoint and AI tools to create dynamic accessible classrooms. Through it all, her voice has remained steady, insightful, humorous, and deeply rooted in the goodness and grandness of Source and the joy by which we are made. Music and creative expression have long been part of her journey, and during this evening we will explore how melody, message, and meaning intertwine in her life and ministry. Courageous Conversations: Forgiveness we gather again for the second in our Courageous Conversations series on faith in modern times. Joining me, Anthony Corona, will be LORNA DESROSES, GABRIEL LOPEZ KAFATI, and MARK RICHERT as we expand our ongoing dialogue and focus on one of the most complex and transformative forces in human experience: forgiveness. This week we explore the trinity of forgiveness. Forgiving oneself. Forgiving another. And the ultimate act of both forgiving and being forgiven. We will reflect on how this mirrors the Holy Trinity while also drawing from other spiritual traditions and lived experiences across communities of faith and doubt alike. Among the questions we will explore: Can one truly give or receive forgiveness if they are blocking themselves from forgiveness of a higher power or unable to forgive themselves? What is the true act of forgiveness? What does it mean to grant forgiveness, to ask for it, and to receive it? In this turbulent modern world, can we forgive our neighbors, both named and faceless, for ideologies, choices, alliances, and beliefs? And finally, is forgiveness conditional?Last Thursday, we kicked off this series of conversations with our panelist and a few amazing comments from our audience, and we would love to hear from you! For all things Sunday Edition family of podcast and digital media content services, visit the website or join Above the Fold the Sunday Edition Family of Podcast Facebook group. send questions and comments, emailsundayedition@anthonycorona.com End… We continue this series of conversations next Thursday night at 8 PM, Eastern when Lorna will lead us in a discussion about: truth. The Trinity of truth, how we define an exercise: truth. Stay tuned for information on how to listen and or join this conversation. Courageous Conversations For A Changing WorldPart One, Faith In Modern Times Sunday Edition with Anthony Corona Thank you for joining us for our continuing Courageous Conversations, part of the Sunday Edition family podcast and digital media content services. This gathering brought together community members from across faith traditions and lived experiences for an honest exploration of spirituality, disability, advocacy, and the realities of navigating turbulent times. Deep gratitude to Mark, Lorna, and Gabriel for their wisdom, vulnerability, and thoughtful leadership in the discussion. Thank you to everyone who listened on Corona FM, those who joined us live, and a special welcome to our new friend Judy. We are honored you found your way into this circle. During this conversation, we reflected on the enduring words of Madeleine L Engle, drawing from her writings across decades and examining how her reflections continue to resonate today. Together, we spoke about facing the enemy and naming the enemy. We considered the theological image of the enemy as a once favored angel who chose the fall, and we examined how distraction and chaos function as tools that attempt to separate us from ourselves, from our faith, from our shared humanity, and from our higher power. Although the conversation was framed within the Lenten season and included references to the Old and New Testament, this was not a conversation confined to Christianity. Participants explored the distinctions between faith, spirituality, and organized religion, affirming that spirituality does not equal religion and faith is not limited to any one tradition. We wrestled with doubt, polarization within our communities, and the challenge of holding onto faith in dark political and cultural moments. We also examined how personal spirituality informs advocacy. How does our inner life shape our public voice. How do we carry faith into justice work. How do we quiet the noise designed to fracture and divide us, especially within disability and faith communities. These questions formed the heartbeat of the evening. Next Conversation, Thursday at 8 PM Eastern Our second Courageous Conversation will center on forgiveness. We will explore what we have described as a trinity of forgiveness: extending forgiveness, accepting forgiveness, and forgiving for ones own spiritual balance. Drawing from our recent reflections on forgiveness within our own house, we will examine how silence can become permission, how speaking truth and offering grace can coexist, and how forgiveness functions not as weakness but as disciplined leadership. We will also reflect on the theological symbolism of the Trinity, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and what spiritual equilibrium looks like in a divided world. Sunday EditionGrowing the Circle with Barbara Hinske Airing Sunday at 1 PM Eastern on 2020 The BeaconAvailable in your podcast feeds immediately after broadcast This week on Sunday Edition, we gather for a rich and heartfelt conversation with author Barbara Hinske centered on her latest novel, Growing the Circle, part of the beloved Guiding Emily series. Barbara shares how her journey into the world of Emily Main began through a charitable interaction with the Foundation Fighting Blindness, and how she chose to donate the proceeds of the first book in the series to support that mission. What began as generosity became a long term literary commitment to telling stories that reflect the lived experiences of the blind and low vision community with authenticity and warmth. We explore the theme of second acts in life, including Emily's own transition into vision loss, her partnership with her guide dog Garth, and the ever widening circle of relationships that shape her world. The novel beautifully examines how loss can lead to unexpected expansion, new purpose, and deeper connection. Our conversation dives into advocacy woven seamlessly into storytelling. We discuss employment discrimination, assumptions about competence, parenting, assistive technology, and the subtle ways society questions blind and low vision individuals. Barbara shares how she listens closely to members of our community and thoughtfully incorporates those conversations into women's fiction and comfort storytelling that invites reflection rather than defensiveness. Growing the Circle is not simply a novel. It is a bridge between communities. It opens doors for friends, family members, coworkers, and readers to better understand the daily realities, frustrations, joys, and resilience of blind and low vision people. We encourage you to read along and join us for our upcoming friends and family book discussion and advocacy gathering with Barbara. If you are interested in participating, email SundayEdition@anthonycorona.com and let us know you are reading Growing the Circle and would like to join the conversation. Details will follow once the date is finalized. Please support Barbara's work by purchasing the book and leaving reviews on Goodreads, Amazon, Audible, or wherever you listen to audiobooks. Reviews and engagement truly matter. The more interaction, the more the algorithm recognizes these stories and shares them with new readers. Amplifying good work is one of the simplest and most powerful forms of advocacy. Sunday Edition Presents: A Conversation with Kevin and Sarah LaRoseBy: Anthony Corona Air Date: February 15 In this heartfelt and deeply layered conversation, we sit down with Kevin and Sarah LaRose to talk about life, love, blindness and vision loss, faith held onto, faith practiced, faith questioned and faith reclaimed. For years we have corresponded, supported and amplified one another's work across advocacy spaces and community conversations. It was long past time that we sat down together not only as colleagues in the work, but as friends and partners in shared purpose. Sarah and Kevin have been married since 2012. They first met in 1998 while participating in advocacy activities online and through the American Council of the Blind. What began as shared advocacy grew into shared life. Kevin is a lover of history and politics, an enthusiastic home cook, an avid podcast listener and the kind of reader who juggles three books at once. A gifted wordsmith, he describes himself as an introvert, yet he is also a generous encourager who offers thoughtful compliments with sincerity and care. Sarah taught biblical languages at Anderson University from 2015 to 2024 and received the Jacob Bolotin Award from the National Federation of the Blind in 2016. She now works as a braille transcriber for JBI Library. In her memoir, Past the Gray Curtain, she offers a deeply personal reflection on faith, identity and lived experience. You can learn more about Sarah and her work at http://www.sarahblakelarose.com and explore Kevin's work at http://www.kevinlarose.net. While there are many memoirs available today, this is a beautifully written, thoughtfully presented and deeply thought provoking work. Supporting one another is not only about hitting a like button or sharing a post. It is also about showing up through action. Please consider purchasing Sarah's book today and investing in the powerful storytelling and lived experience she so generously shares. During our conversation, we explore navigating blindness and vision loss within faith communities, translating belief into lived practice in a modern world and the quiet courage it takes to wrestle with doubt while holding onto hope. Gabriel Lopez Kafati joins us for part of the conversation as we begin teasing an upcoming six week series of Thursday night discussions leading up to and through the Lenten season and Easter. Together we talk about what it means to translate faith into action and compassion in today's world. This episode is thoughtful, honest and grounded in lived experience. It is a conversation about partnership, calling and the ongoing journey of becoming. Take2Radio The Remix In conjunction with the Sunday Edition family of podcast and digital media content services presents Nick Rossi The Interview Pam and Anthony sat down with musician Nick Rossi for an in depth and wide ranging conversation about music, influence, creativity, and what it means to play through life both solo and with a band. Nick Rossi is a pop punk artist and producer from Upstate New York and a driving creative force behind the band Double XP. His sound pulls inspiration from early 2000s punk and alternative rock while still feeling fresh, playful, and emotionally grounded. Whether working solo or collaborating with a full band, Nick approaches music with curiosity, intention, and a genuine love for the craft. Double XP channels that same energy. Big hooks. High energy guitars. A sense of fun that never forgets the heart underneath the noise. At the end of the episode we premiere the brand new Double XP single "All A Game". It is a catchy, fun, early 2000s inspired punk rock earworm that will absolutely get stuck in your head in the best possible way. You have been warned.

Sunday Edition PresentsThe EchoVision Glasses Experience This weeks Sunday Edition featured an in depth and community centered conversation exploring the EchoVision smart glasses and the growing ecosystem surrounding them. Our guest Amy from the AGIGA team guided us through multiple live demonstrations of the EchoVision glasses, offering a clear and practical look at how they function in real world use. Amy shared the story behind the development of the glasses, the philosophy that shaped their design, and what is coming next for both the product and the broader EchoVision community. We explored the history of EchoVision, how blind and low vision users were involved from the very beginning, and why the Pioneer experience is such a critical part of refining and strengthening the technology. Amy also walked listeners through how to learn more, where to find demos and resources, and how interested users can take next steps. A highlight of the episode was hearing directly from current EchoVision Pioneers. Several users joined the conversation to share their lived experiences, practical use cases, and honest reflections on how the glasses fit into daily life. These firsthand perspectives brought depth and authenticity to the discussion and reinforced the importance of designing assistive technology with the community rather than for it. We were also pleased to introduce Lisa Brooks, who is helping to manage and grow the social media presence surrounding EchoVision. Lisa shared insight into how the community connects online and how users can stay engaged, informed, and supported as the platform continues to evolve. This episode reflects what Sunday Edition does best, bringing together developers, users, advocates, and community voices for thoughtful and accessible conversations about technology, independence, and lived experience. Blind Travel Foundation and Creative Guidance with Sunday Edition This week on Sunday Edition, we bring together two returning voices whose work reminds us that exploration is not just about where we go, but how deeply we listen, adapt, and grow. In our first conversation, we sit down once again with Mike Walsh, founder and executive director of the Blind Travel Foundation. Mike joins us to talk about blind led travel, adventure with purpose, and the power of reclaiming curiosity in a world that often underestimates what blind and low vision travelers can do. From meaningful travel grants to community storytelling, Mike shares how the Blind Travel Foundation continues to expand what access and possibility look like in motion. Mike also walks us through the application process for this year's ten thousand dollar travel grant and reminds listeners that the deadline is quickly approaching. In our second segment, we welcome back Coach Kaila Allen of Creative Guidance LLC. Kaila is a naturally curious soul whose twenty year journey through the healing arts is shaped by her lived experience with Leber Congenital Amaurosis. Diagnosed at age three, Kaila learned early that when one way of seeing closes, another opens. Her work centers on inner sight, deep listening, and guiding individuals through life transitions by integrating mindfulness, somatic resilience, wellness, and energy healing. Kaila believes transformation is not about becoming someone new, but uncovering the authentic and magnificent version of yourself that already exists. Kaila begins our conversation with a beautiful grounding exercise before we move into a discussion about intentional living and her chosen word of the year for 2026. Both of these conversations highlight something powerful. These are two members of our community who started with an idea, nurtured a dream, and put in the work to turn vision into action. Through the Blind Travel Foundation and Creative Guidance, Mike and Kaila have built something real, sustainable, and deeply rooted in giving back to the blind and low vision community. Together, these conversations explore travel, creativity, adaptation, and what it truly means to move from stuckness into purpose. Both Mike Walsh and Kaila Allen are familiar voices to the Sunday Edition family, and we are thrilled to bring them back for a conversation rooted in insight, experience, and forward motion. > Friend of the Sunday Edition family of podcasts and a personal musical hero, Rhonda Selby joins us for an intimate and heartfelt conversation about music, vision, and life itself. > > Born and raised in the small town of Door, Michigan, Rhonda was diagnosed with retinoblastoma at just four months old and is totally blind. From an early age, sound and music became her language, her compass, and her constant companion. She began singing as a teenager, studying voice and keyboard, and later performing with bands across multiple genres, from pop and country to selections from the Great American Songbook. > > In this intimate evening, we journey through Rhonda's journeys. We explore her creative process, her return to music after a long hiatus, and her recent work teaching herself to mix and produce. Along the way, we talk about the twists and turns life offers us, how vision is experienced far beyond sight, and how music carries us through surprise, loss, and renewal. > > Rhonda also speaks to the wide and sometimes surprising range of artists who have shaped her musical ear. From the precision and emotional discipline of classical voices like Beverly Sills and Kathleen Battle, to the storytelling and swing of jazz greats Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday, to the soul rich expression of R and B icons Minnie Riperton and Deniece Williams, her influences reflect a deep respect for vocal honesty and emotional truth. These artists did more than inspire technique; they modeled how a voice can carry vulnerability, power, and grace all at once. In our conversation, Rhonda reflects on how these influences continue to guide her as a singer, producer, and listener, reminding us that music is not confined by genre, but expanded by lived experience. > > This is not just a conversation about songs, but about listening, becoming, and finding your voice again. > > Listen live or tune in on 2020 The Beacon. You can stream from anywhere on the website. You can also ask Alexa devices to enable 2020 The Beacon.Available on GetMeRadio and Live365. > > You can also listen on Corona FM.Visit www.anthonycorona.com and click on the tab for Corona FM. > > For questions, comments, or to request the login information to join us live, send an email to:SundayEdition@anthonycorona.com > >

CURED: A Sunday Edition Special Advocacy Event Sunday Edition presents a powerful and timely broadcast centered on history, activism, and the urgent work still before us. This special episode begins with a screening of the audio described version of the documentary CURED, which chronicles the pivotal moment when LGBTQ activists successfully challenged the psychiatric establishment and forced the removal of homosexuality from the American Psychiatric Association's list of mental illnesses. Achieved through strategy, courage, and relentless advocacy, this victory marked one of the earliest and most consequential steps toward equality for the LGBTQIA plus community. For listeners who would like to watch the full 80 minute version of CURED in advance of this conversation, the filmmakers have generously made it available to the Sunday Edition community for a limited time. To request the advance screening link, please email SundayEdition@anthonycorona.com. While CURED focuses on the removal of homosexuality from the DSM, the lessons embedded in this history extend far beyond one community. This is a story of how marginalized people organize, challenge institutional power, and create lasting change. The advocacy strategies highlighted in the film offer clear examples of how hearts and minds are shifted, how laws and policies are influenced, and how guidance rooted in bias can be dismantled. These lessons resonate deeply across the LGBTQIA plus community, the disability community, and all communities that continue to face marginalization. Following the screening, Sunday Edition transitions into a live roundtable discussion exploring a critical question: how do we borrow from the past to protect and shape our future. Joining the conversation are the filmmakers behind CURED, along with event coordinator Jeremy Grandstaff, whose work in organizational change and advocacy brings essential perspective. Additional surprise panelists will also join, offering deeply personal insight into both the film's themes and the current moment our communities are navigating. Together, the panel examines historical lessons and how they apply to today's backlash, bias, and renewed attacks on LGBTQIA plus and disabled communities. The discussion explores prejudice then and now, the power of collective action, and how past victories can be revisited, remixed, and reactivated for the advocacy demands of today. During the second hour of Sunday Edition, the conversation opens to the audience. Listener voices, lived experiences, and perspectives are central to this dialogue. This is not simply a retrospective, it is a living conversation, a tribute to those who fought before us, and a call to action for what comes next. Listeners can tune in live and explore past episodes, special events, music, karaoke, and more by visiting www.anthonycorona.com. Celebrating the Holidays and Holy Days with Sunday edition By: Anthony Corona This week on Sunday edition, we leaned into the season with a conversation that was warm, meaningful, and full of joy. Throughout the year we have shared our Faith in Modern Times series with Mark, Lorna, and Gabriel, and they returned for a holiday edition focused on how we celebrate, how we keep the joy alive, and how we share and spread that joy throughout the holidays. This episode is a blend of tradition, music, and memories. We talked about faith based reflections, secular celebrations, cultural rituals, and the little moments that make this time of year feel meaningful. Some traditions are rooted in religion, some in family, some in chosen family, and some simply in comfort and connection. All of them belong here. We also took a stroll through the soundtrack and screen glow of the season, the holiday music that lives in our bones, the specials that signal it is officially that time of year, and the quiet comfort of the Yule log flickering in the background while life slows down just a bit. We celebrated what we can be thankful for, how we hold onto our faith, and how we honor faith of all traditions. Holiday music highlights from this episode included old favorites like "I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas" and music from A Charlie Brown Christmas, along with newer offerings like Kylie Minogue's "Hot in December." We also visited traditional staples including "O Holy Night" and "Joy to the World." Mark treated us to some wonderfully creative songs made with creation help by artificial intelligence, including a Christmas perspective from the often left out Rudolph partner, Clarice. She just loves his red nose, but we digress. Anthony shared his own cover of "Happy Xmas, War Is Over," and we closed out the episode by rocking right into "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree." We would love to hear from you. Sunday edition presents Putting the Candy in Cane A guide to the perfect holiday mobility gift with Ambutech By: Anthony Corona In this special bonus episode of Sunday edition, Anthony sits down with Laura from Ambutech to talk about purchasing mobility canes for yourself or as the perfect holiday gift. We explore what you need to know before choosing a cane, some of the new and very cool features that are now available, and how to make sure the cane you select truly supports independence, comfort, and safety. Laura brings extraordinary insight to this conversation. She is Ambutech's Production, Compliance and Improvement Specialist, a role where her sharp eye for detail and natural talent for problem solving shine every single day. She analyzes processes, finds creative solutions, and ensures everything on the production floor runs safely, efficiently, and with the highest standards of quality. Outside of work, Laura loves escape room style puzzles, spending time with her two young children, and keeping up with her energetic dog and curious cat. Her focus, patience, and dedication make her an invaluable part of the Ambutech team. During our conversation, we walk through the journey of mobility canes over the years, how designs have evolved, why certain materials were introduced, and how user feedback continues to shape what Ambutech builds. We also explore some very cool new customization features that are now available, the growing collection of cane colors and styles, and all of the different cane tips that can dramatically change the feel and purpose of a mobility cane. From rolling tips and marshmallow tips to specialty tips for specific environments, Laura breaks down what they do, how they work, and why choosing the right one matters. We even put together a friendly holiday guide for friends and family who may want to purchase a customized cane as a gift. If you or someone you love has ever wanted a cane in a favorite color, with a preferred grip, in a specific material, or paired with the perfect tip, this episode is a must listen. Laura is an incredible resource, and anyone considering giving or receiving a customized mobility cane this holiday season will find a wealth of helpful information. Share it with your friends and family and drop a hint or two if you are hoping for a fabulous Christmas mobility gift. We also take a moment to highlight the incredible legacy behind the canes so many of us trust. Ambutech began as a small shop making support canes in the early 1980s and expanded into mobility canes in 1989, a shift that helped define the future of the company. Over the decades, Ambutech has grown into the largest supplier of mobility products in Europe and North America, distributing to more than eighty countries. Their success comes from a deep commitment to quality, customer feedback, and continuous investment in advanced manufacturing techniques. Every cane is made to order, using automation for accuracy and speed and hand finishing for craftsmanship and reliability. From fiberglass and graphite canes to an impressive array of cane tips, Ambutech continues to blend new technology with traditional care to support users all around the world. As we celebrate the season, this bonus episode is also a perfect lead in to the Sunday edition Holiday Giveaway.
