In today's episode I get to chat with one of my favorite humans in the world, my teacher and mentor Nikki Vilella. I first met Nikk in in 2016 at a Yoga workshop in her "house", Kula Yoga, and immediately fell in love with her, the space, their philosophy and the purity and creativity of their teaching. After graduating from college with a major in art history and working in the fashion industry for a month, she decided that fashion was not for her. About Justine Lackey Justine Lackey is the founder of Good Cents Management, an invitation-only financial services suite. Our mission is to liberate entrepreneurs through custom operational solutions. She is also a bookkeeping business mentor, wife, mama to three and a perpetual hostess. Justine's Non-Negotiables Just to name a few: reading, meditating, and exercise. She tries to read for 20 minutes every day - it's like exercise for your brain and is so important for personal evolution and to exercise the muscle of concentration. She is also a new meditator, and exercises at least 5 days a week. Her personal goal is to hit at least two of these habits every day, three when possible. The biggest non-negotiable routine is that I track it all. Every day. With stickers (yes stickers) in my calendar - I have little book stickers to track when I read, lotus flowers to track when I meditated, little weights to track when I exercised. I also track what time I woke up and what kind of sleep I had the night before. Mary represents true resilience, she's one of the strongest people that I know - inside and out.
