A series decider at ANZ Stadium. The Blues teetered on the brink, heartbreak hanging over Homebush once more - until one breathtaking chain of passes rewrote Origin folklore. Relive the frantic final minute: Cordner to Murray, Pearce punching through the line, Trbojevic unleashing Ferguson on white-knuckle tippy-toes down the sideline, and - like lightning - James “Teddy” Tedesco diving over to clinch NSW’s first back-to-back crown since 2005. Buckle up for the play that stunned Queensland and carved Teddy’s name into Origin legend. This week Culden Kamea talks about the elephant in room, with "Price Gouging" in ticket prices in FIji for the upcioming Super Rugby Pacific Game between the Fijian Drua and the Waikato Cheifs at the ANZ Stadium in Suva, Fiji on 30th April 2022. The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua game against the Highlanders at Suva's ANZ Stadium is the only Super Rugby Pacific home game for 2022. Tickets for the Saturday, April 30 game are already on sale. Since no one else has said anything, I just have to get this little winch off my chest and address the elephant in the room: GOUGING Why are the ticket prices for the Fijian Drua versus Highlanders Super Rugby Pacific game in SouthA on 30th April so expensive compared to all other Super Rugby Pacific games in Australia and New Zealand?  They are exorbitant, to say the least, and they're being played at way better stadiums, with nearly all having bucket seats and roof cover over there in New Zealand and Australia.  Surely for their first ever home game in Fiji, you would have thought the pricing would have been set to encourage and allow the families and matengali of each Fiji and Drew a player to come along and celebrate. But no, there's not even a special ticket price for families. CULDEN KAMEA ASKS THE HARD QUESTIONS IN RUGBY! --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/teivovo-rugby/message

With all 10 Victorian AFL teams to be based in Queensland potentially until the end of the season and an uncertain timeframe over the Coronavirus crisis in Victoria, the question must be asked where will the AFL Grand Final be held? If the MCG doesn't happen then what stadium or team deserves to host it? The Gabba in Queensland holds around 40,000, the Optus Oval in the West holds 60,000 and the Adelaide Oval in South Australia can hold around 50,000 whilst the gentlemen believe ANZ Stadium should be bulldozed ... we'll discuss some of the real possibilities for Season 2020's biggest day. We were in crisis [in the 1990s] when we lost three in a row,” Renouf said.“That is when we would have Porky Morgan come and have a chat to us, so we knew we were in crisis then.”In his NRL.com column last week Renouf said the Broncos were like a fine watch that was out of sync and needed tuning. He casts his eye over what is wrong with the Broncos and what needs fixing. He said the Broncos appeared “rudderless” but has still backed them to get a win against the Sharks on Saturday night.Renouf has tipped the Eels to back up their stunning 51-16 win over the Tigers with another victory on the road against the Knights. He analyses the play of star Eels centre Michael Jennings and how he has turned back the clock in the twilight of his career.Renouf has also tipped the Bulldogs to break through for a win over the Cowboys at ANZ Stadium after being impressed with their recent grit and determination.

LISTEN TO PHIL ROTHFIELD TALK WITH D'ARCY AND GORAN ABOVEOne of Australia's leading rugby league commentators expects fireworks when - not if - discarded Warriors playmaker Shaun Johnson joins the Cronulla Sharks today.Veteran Daily Telegraph journalist Phil Rothfield says Johnson's greatest challenge could be to adapt to the Sharks' structured game plan while also warning that the 28-year-old won't be allowed to use the Cronulla-based club as a "transit lounge".Rothfield told D'Arcy and Goran that Johnson is set to sign a three-year deal "before the end of the day [Thursday)" after an earlier request for a short-term deal was knocked back by the club."He's heading to Cronulla, a great signing for the club. I know him and his agent were originally keen on only doing a one-year deal to see how he settles in but there's a feeling at Cronulla that the club is not going to be used as a transit lounge that would open the door for a club like the Sydney Roosters to grab him in 2020 [when they lose superstar Cooper Cronk]," Rothfield said."They're in talks now just to ink the deal and I think by the end of the day Shaun Johnson will have signed a three-year contract with the Sharks."This, despite the fact that the club recently laid off ten employees due to financial constraints, Rothfield revealed. The Warriors' decision to cut ties with Johnson after an eight-year relationship, didn't come as a surprise."It's a bit of a shame for the game. He is the most popular rugby league player in New Zealand beyond doubt with that enormous social media following. I think Shaun Johnson plays five or six 9/10 games every year but I don't think he turns up every week," said Rothfield."You saw that in the semifinal against Penrith at ANZ Stadium when the Warriors bombed out so poorly after a great year. He does need to find more consistency to become a truly great player."Rothfield had heard rumours of discontent prior to Johnson's sudden departure from across the ditch."I don't know how he fitted in with the rest of the players. I'm not saying it was a split dressing room but what I can tell you is [that he was] always last to arrive and first to leave and he wasn't a great team player."I don't think he got on particularly well with Stephen Kearney because the attitude he had was probably more about him than the team. That's why there was the breakdown and why the CEO [Cameron George] didn't give him the departure comments that he deserved."Johnson would be a smart buy and could succeed at the Sharks, Rothfield says - provided he can adapt to Sharks coach Shane Flanagan's game plan."From a marketing point of view, to get bums on seats, to sell jerseys I think it's a fantastic signing for the club. I think he [Johnson] could be a better player with a stronger, more experienced forward pack which he'll have at the Sharks next season. Shaun is just a brilliant individualist," Rothfield said."[Flanagan] is very much into structured rugby league. He likes to stick to the game plan but I don't think you can put the shackles on Johnson. He needs freedom. He needs a license to roam."

LISTEN TO GREG ALEXANDER PREVIEW THE MATCH WITH D'ARCY AND GORAN ABOVEWarriors captain Roger Tuivasa-Sheck is yet to run on his injured ankle and will need to prove his fitness tomorrow before being cleared to play in Saturday's sudden death NRL finals clash against Penrith. The Kiwi international fullback walked freely through the departure gates at Auckland airport today ahead of the Warriors flight to Sydney and showed no signs of the limp that he carried after suffering the injury in last week's win over Canberra.Assistant coach Andrew McFadden is confident the club's Player of the Year will be right for their biggest game of the season but said a decision on Tuivasa-Sheck's availability would be made after tomorrow's captains run at ANZ Stadium.Retiring back-rower Simon Mannering completed light duties at training yesterday and is expected to be fit for his 301st appearance despite carrying a sternum injury."We're hopeful. Roger hasn't run yet but that's just to give him the best chance physically," said McFadden."He's obviously played the majority of our games this year so he should be right and Simon had a good run yesterday so we're hopeful."He'll definitely have to have a run and that's when we'll get a real indication but he looks pretty good."However, with Tuivasa-Sheck yet to test how his ankle holds up, McFadden admitted there was a chance he could miss the Warriors first finals appearance in seven years. The Stephen Kearney coached side are prepared for the worst however, with centre Peta Hiku ready to switch to the No 1 role and bench utility Gerard Beale providing cover for the right edge."There is a chance [he might not play]. Obviously he's got to be fit but we're very hopeful," he said."He's worked around the clock and he's very professional and the medical staff seem to think he'll be fine."We've got Gerard Beale on the bench at the moment and Peta Hiku can just slot straight into that position if need be."We've got a bit of depth to us so if worst comes to worst we'll be fine."The side was given a warm send-off by a number of the club's front office staff who surprised the players as they made their way through the departure lounge."It's a nice touch," said McFadden. "No one knew that this was happening so it's great the whole club has come out. It is very exciting. We're all looking forward to getting to Sydney and having a red hot crack.

On the extended bench, Lino, Chris Satae and Karl Lawton also have no finals experience. At the same time the selected 17 includes several players who have appeared in multiple finals including premiership winners Tuivasa-Sheck, Adam Blair, Tohu Harris and Gerard Beale.Mannering has played 10 finals matches including the 2011 grand final while Issac Luke also has vast finals experience although he missed South Sydney's 2014 grand final win through suspension. The Warriors head into the play-offs after a seven-year absence to start the club's eighth finals campaign following previous appearances in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2007, 2008, 2010 and 2011.They finished level on 32 points with four teams in the most congested top eight finish in history with the leading four teams just one win ahead on 34 points. The Panthers clinched fifth place on points for and against while the Warriors were eighth after a season in which they were inside the top eight every week of the regular season en route to a 15-9 win-loss record. In their two encounters in the regular rounds, Penrith beat the Warriors 36-4 at its home ground in July but the Warriors avenged the loss with a compelling 36-16 victory to clinch their finals berth at Mount Smart Stadium on August 24.The rivals have met in the play-offs only once before, the Panthers prevailing 28-20 in the preliminary final in 2003 before claiming the premiership against the Roosters. In 17 previous finals matches, the Warriors have won eight and lost nine while the Panthers have a 13-14 record including two grand final victories in 1991 and 2003.WARRIORS v PENRITH PANTHERS5.30pm, Saturday, September 8, 2018ANZ Stadium, SydneyVODAFONE WARRIORS1 ROGER TUIVASA-SHECK (c)2 DAVID FUSITU'A3 PETA HIKU4 SOLOMONE KATA5 KEN MAUMALO6 BLAKE GREEN7 SHAUN JOHNSON8 JAMES GAVET9 ISSAC LUKE10 AGNATIUS PAASI11 ADAM BLAIR12 TOHU HARRIS13 SIMON MANNERINGInterchange:14 JAZZ TEVAGA15 ISAIAH PAPALI'I16 BUNTY AFOA17 GERARD BEALE18 LEIVAHA PULU20 MASON LINO21 CHRIS SATAE22 KARL LAWTONHEAD COACH | STEPHEN KEARNEY
