Rio is back in the studio and joined by Joel Beya and Ste Howson where the trio reflect on Manchester United's 4-1 victory at Wolves and the latest developments following Mohamed Salah's outburst about his lack of playing time at Liverpool this season. After it was reported that manager Ruben Amorim left his players alone at half-time, Rio discusses the different tactics that managers use in order to effectively communicate their message and praises Mason Mount as United's yard-stick for players performing in the current system.Rio also suggests Kobbie Mainoo should push for a move away in January in order to not “waste” any more of his career and contrasts the comments made by former United winger Alejandro Garnacho who says it was an easy decision to leave the club because he has the “trust” of his new gaffer, Enzo Maresca. After admitting that Mohamed Salah should have articulated himself in a better way, Rio launches a defence of the record-breaking winger and suggests that established players like Virgil Van Dijk and Andy Robertson could play a vital role in rehabilitating Salah back into the squad - comparing his conversations with Wayne Rooney who spoke out against the manager when Rio was a senior player at Man Utd. On this week's episode of That Peter Crouch Podcast, Pete, Chris and Sids sit down with Joe Cole, former England international, Premier League winner and Champions League finalist, to dive into the untold stories behind his new book Luxury Player. The lads get stuck into Joe's early rise as a teenage sensation, the madness of being splashed across the papers at 15, and how fame shaped him long before he stepped onto a Premier League pitch. Joe opens up about the pressure, the jealousy, the misconceptions, and how he found his way through it.The conversation also takes us inside Chelsea during the Mourinho revolution — the moment Joe realised everything had changed, what training was really like under Jose, and how that era set the foundations for years of dominance. There's plenty of England nostalgia too: World Cups, quarter-finals, dressing room pranks, and the gut-punch reality of injuries cutting short international dreams. It's honest, funny, nostalgic and full of elite-level insight — a proper football chat with one of the game's most naturally gifted players. Declan Rice was named the player-of-the-match and admitted that the 'bad blood' between Arsenal and Manchester City has been building. Carragher, Neville, Keane and Sturridge get heated about Trent Alexander-Arnold's future at Liverpool.
Dave Jones presents Super Sunday from the Tottenham Hotspur stadium alongside Les Ferdinand, Jamie Redknapp, and Jamie Carragher and they analysed all the talking points from a very eventful game which saw league-leaders Liverpool score six times, which guaranteed them to be top of the table at Christmas. Redknapp described Liverpool's performance as ‘incredible' and said they exposed every weakness of Tottenham. Carragher agreed and felt the scoreline could have been much worse for the hosts. Trent Alexander-Arnold once again produced an eye-catching performance, and with the full-back's contract still to be resolved, Carra believes he would be remembered as one of the greats to play for the club if he does decide to stay at Anfield.Ange Postecoglou reacted after the match, saying it was a painful day for Spurs as they could not compete at the same level as the hosts. In contrast, Arne Slot was obviously delighted with his players' display and felt it was their best away performance of the season despite conceding three times. Pat Davison also speaks to goalscorer Mo Salah and Tottenham captain Son Heung-Min.

Dave Jones presents Super Sunday from Anfield alongside Jamie Carragher, Roy Keane, Micah Richards, and Daniel Sturridge, who analyse Liverpool's impressive win against a fragile Manchester City, whose winless run extends to seven games. The result means the hosts have an 11-point gap over City with a third of the season played. Keane praised the defensive resilience of Liverpool, saying they ‘showed a real desire to keep a clean sheet'. Carragher feels Man City's struggles will continue and believes they will have a real fight to ensure they finish in a top-four position. After the match, Pat Davidson spoke to both Mo Salah and Virgil van Dijk, with the Liverpool captain saying that they will not get ahead of themselves despite having a nine-point lead at the top of the table. Arne Slot also gave his reaction, describing the win as a near-perfect performance, whilst Pep Guardiola said that he and his players will reset and start from zero as they try to overcome this difficult period.
Kelly Cates is alongside Jamie Carragher, Daniel Sturridge, and Micah Richards to discuss Liverpool's 2-1 win against Chelsea in what was an incident-packed match at Anfield. Curtis Jones was the standout performer and Carragher feels the midfielder's display shows why the club did not need to sign Martin Zubimendi in the summer. Richards believes Liverpool showed they are genuine title challengers now, saying that ‘they have a real chance to go all the way this year'.Pat Davison gets reaction from both dressing rooms including player of the match Curtis Jones and Chelsea captain Reece James. Both Arne Slot and Enzo Maresca also give their views on the result and the studio guests reflect on the earlier game on Super Sunday that saw Manchester City score a stoppage-time winner at Wolves.
