Oklahoma City held a solemn ceremony Saturday morning, honoring the 168 people who died 30 years ago today when an anti-government extremist set off a powerful bomb outside the federal building there. A single photograph captured the horror of that day: a firefighter cradling the lifeless body of a small child. That firefighter, Chris Fields, joins John Yang to reflect on his experience. *Originally aired 5 years ago* Being a first responder is not an easy job. Putting your life on the line, day after day for those you serve. We entrust these brave men and women to run into the gates of hell and we don't really get to see The Human Side and how certain things can affect them. They are exposed to things that most of us average folks will never have to experience in our lifetime. Co-Host - Retired Major of the Oklahoma City Fire Department and Oklahoma City Bombing Responder, Chris Fields Oklahoma City suffered the Deadliest Domestic Terrorist Attack in American History, killing 168 men, women and children and injuring close to 800. Chris Fields was there front and center, serving his community as a firefighter. He was captured in a photo that became an iconic symbol of the Oklahoma City Bombing in 1995, when he was cradling the body of 1 year old Baylee Almon. He served the citizens of Oklahoma City for over 31 years and has now dedicated his life to speak to other 1st responders, discussing the brutal realities of a life spent responding to citizens in their darkest hours. He also shares his personal story of how that day in 1995, along with other traumas, took a toll on his life and his family. Having suffered in silence for many years, he now shares how he found his way out of the darkness, in the hopes of helping others to avoid the failure and pitfalls, along with encouraging them to reach out when they need help. www.chrisfields.org

Aside from Paul Hughes' looming free agency, one of the main talking points going into Cage Warriors 170 is Team Ryano vying for a Cage Warriors title for the first time since 2013, when the legendary Neil Seery clinched flyweight gold. Speaking to Andy Ryan, Petesy discusses the golden era of the sport which occurred around the same time while the infamous Team Ryan boss underlines why he believes the scene has become divided since then. Ryan, one of the founding fathers of the Irish sport, outlines the promise of his latest batch of talent and details why he believes James Sheehan will be ready for the UFC if he secures the Cage Warriors welterweight title at Dublin's RDS. Former Cage Warriors middleweight champion, Chris Fields, also fixes his mind back to the 2013 event. As well as that, the Irish fan favourite acknowledges that his Team KF charges are building back to title contention while also asserting his belief that Irish MMA's best chance of producing another golden generation will come from all gyms competing against each other, something that hasn't happened regularly since the early BAMMA events in the country.

This week on 'The Mac & Forth Show Podcast,' Alan, Steve, and Karl are set to tickle your tech fancy with some Apple-flavoured news and quirks! First up, Apple TV gives the boot to 'Central Park' and 'Swagger,' leaving us wondering if Apple's got a new trick up its sleeve or just a tighter belt. Then, the guys tackle the drama around the FiLMiC video app for iPhone - is it really curtains for this beloved app, or just a cliffhanger? In a blast from the past, they'll marvel at a RadioShack cheque signed by none other than Steve Jobs - talk about a pricey autograph! The plot thickens this side of the pond, where iPhone 15 Pro Max orders are playing a game of switcheroo with fakes. Oh, the intrigue! In a bizarre tech twist, an Android phone thief soon returns it when they realise it's not an iPhone! And for the grand finale, AirTags turn into plant detectives, tracking down pilfered greenery. It's like a 'Where's Waldo?' for plants! All this, and slightly more on this week's episode. "Here God, I am doing this because I love You." -Chris Fields (quoting Brother Lawrence), How to Enjoy God All the Time "Jesus, please come into my heart. Help me with everything in my life. I am sorry for all my sins. I want to have a new life with you. Wash my heart with Your love and joy and live inside me. I give you all of me. Please give me all of You, And be my Best Friend forever. Amen." - Chris Fields, How to Enjoy God All the Time "If you have never felt God's love inside you, ask Him to help you. Be quiet for a minute. It may be as gentle as a butterfly kiss. It may be as quiet as a ladybug. But as you listen, you will recognize His whisper deep inside you. You may feel peace. This is the beginning of enjoying God. He doesn't always speak in words. Sometimes He speaks in a picture, a feeling, or a song, But He always speaks with love." - Chris Fields, How to Enjoy God All the Time "If you have never heard God speak to you, you can be quiet right now and listen to Him. He gave you special ears inside your heart that are made for hearing Him. He has so much to tell you. Most people only listen with their outside ears. Once you are good at listening with your inside ears, you'll hear how much God has to say. He will be the sunshine of your heart." - Chris Fields, How to Enjoy God All the Time "This is the point in your life when things take off for you. You should feel confident in making bold moves. The expectation is that everything you put your hand to now will improve and flow your way Mainly because you're shifting your energy, which is allowing you to bring more elevated frequencies to the things you're focused on. Know that the tide has been turning for a reason. Move with that knowing. Shift with that balance. Your energy is providing you with leverage you've never had before." -@Source Messages "Call to Me, and I will give you an answer, and let you see great things and secret things of which you had no knowledge." Jeremiah 33:3 "Clear your mind of dogmatic theological debris; let in the fresh, healing waters of direct perception. Attune yourself to the active inner guidance. The Divine Voice has the answer to every dilemma of life." - Lahiri Mahasaya "You can only be non-possessive, non-jealous, when a different kind of love has arisen in you which is no more dependent, which needs nobody, which simply goes on overflowing. If somebody partakes, good, you are grateful. If nobody partakes, very good, you are alone, absolutely happy." - Osho "Oh, Jesus, my love... my vocation, I finally found my vocation, it is LOVE." - St. Thérèse of Lisieux "How to Recognize God's Voice" by @kapchatfield (meditation inspiration) "The voice of the Lord is full of power; the voice of the Lord has a noble sound."
