Andrew Trevillian didn't begin his career with video game development in mind, but it certainly evolved into something special in the space. Nintendo held a Splatoon 3 Direct this week but instead of talking about that, we're talking about other games filled with goo. That's right, games where you clean goo or games where you spread goo. From Mario Sunshine to De Blob, these are games with goo. WARNING: IF YOU HAVE NOT CHECKED MY CHANNEL, BE SURE TO CHECK IT OUT! OTHERWISE, YOU WILL NOT KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT!!! Here's the link: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCPQFo8S5dUj16TJPuiRgwng Anyway, I have made a realization that all of my dumb animal characters may have entered our universe years and years and years ago before they were finally caught and were forced to do some acting as part of their web series. And yes, I call this "The Blimpy and Enzo Phenomenon." This is basically a part of our world centuries and centuries ago where Blimpy and Enzo and most of the other characters on my Youtube channel have made history, by making tons of pop culture references in many many eras, proof that they existed before ACNYC did. The top ones include: Blimpy and his establishment of Homer Simpson singing a song named after him twice, an inflatable suit from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and a Michigan restaurant called Blimpy Burger have made way for Blimpy to make more money than David Karp and Michelle Phan combined. Enzo and the establishment of a sushi restaurant in Québec, an SMG4 character, a DJ Snake song, and the birth of Enzo Ferrari have made way for him to go on The Price is Right and win a trip to Ferrari's gravesite. Otto's establishment of a pizza place in Portland, Maine and a 2001 PC game called Otto Matic caved the way for Otto to work formerly for Microsoft, then die, then come back to life after hearing Axel say he was gonna take him to a Petr Yan meet-and-greet. Axel's start of gaining the role of an elephant from Animal Crossing, a weirdo from Twisted Metal, and finally on the big screen in The Angry Birds Movie 2 gave him the opportunity to live in absolute wealth, even he still lives under a giant rock. Apple has only a few inspirations since he's named after a fruit, not the company, Applebee's, the character from Apple and Onion, or the Korean musical group Apple.B. Captain Necco's start of behaving like Captain Underpants and Major Man with the addition of NECCO Wafers, and Meowsles from Fortnite made him a WWE wrestler for 5 seconds. Blob's start of the Wii game De Blob, an amalgamation from FNAF Security Breach, and being an X-Men supervillain gave him nothing but a studio apartment. With a 3DO inside. The rest you learn later. Happy New Year! Sammy talks about La Tomatina (and then proceeds to call it La Tomatilla for half of the episode), Zev reminisces about a particularly amorphous video game classic, and Jean reveals all of the jellyfish's dirty little secrets (there are a lot of them). Also, Papa John has been poisoning people to forget history's greatest revolutionary. Thank you to @slashatrashton on Twitter for suggesting Sammy's topic this week! ------- Images used on this week's thumbnail: Carlesboveserral, CC BY-SA 4.0 , via Wikimedia Commons Fred Hsu (Wikipedia:User:Fredhsu on en.wikipedia), CC BY-SA 3.0 , via Wikimedia Commons

On today's show, Marc starts off talking about the many annoyances had while trying to party chat and play Halo with his dad and then follows that up with some chatter about a handful of games, including De Blob, Tower 57, and RIVE: Ultimate Edition. Anyway, that's it and that's all folks, and, if you're feeling extra generous, you can become a patron, donate a little something-something, or subscribe to show your support for the site, podcast(s), and all the ridiculous jazz we make over here at Pixelated Sausage. And don't forget, you can also support the site by shopping at Amazon if that's your jam--you can probably buy jam on Amazon too.
