In this episode of Next Step Leadership, Sandra Glahn talks again to Tracy and Chris. Her knowledge offers deep, biblical, and practical insight for this podcast's audience. As a Professor of Media Arts and Worship at Dallas Theological Seminary and as an author or editor of over twenty books including Nobody's Mother, she brings a perspective today's church leaders need to hear. Sandra is a frequent podcast guest and retreat speaker whose areas of expertise include Artemis, Ephesus, Bible books and backgrounds, women's history and issues, the history of ideas about gender, sexuality and ethics, and writing for publication. Dr. Glahn and her husband, Gary, have been married for more than forty years, and they have a married adult daughter, who joined their family through adoption. She is honest about her beliefs and her disappointments. Female leaders need to listen to her thoughts. All leaders need to gain from her insight. Learn from her wisdom on mentoring, on giving away power instead of holding on to power, on shepherding, on preaching as teams, and on how there is no room for pride among today's leaders. https://sandraglahn.com/
Chris Maxwell has known author and professor Sandra Glahn through their connection with the Evangelical Press Association. Tracy Reynolds joins Chris in inviting Sandra to you. Sandra Glahn, PhD, is a journalist and the author, coauthor, or editor of more than twenty books, including Vindicating the Vixens, Earl Grey with Ephesians, Sanctified Sexuality (coeditor), and Sexual Intimacy in Marriage (coauthor). She serves as Professor of Media Arts and Worship at Dallas Theological Seminary. Her latest book, Nobody's Mother, lays a biblical foundation for men and women serving side by side in the church. During these days of disappointment and division, listen to Dr Glahn's story. Life doesn't always go the way we wish. Pain is a part of each person's story. Her wisdom and compassion are needed for today's leaders who continue learning to trust God whatever the season. https://sandraglahn.com/

Dr Conor McCormick is in discussion with Dearbhla Minogue, a lawyer from the Global Legal Action Network (GLAN), about an exciting new clinical collaboration between GLAN and the School of Law at Queen's. In the 2020-21 campaign, one name tended to crop up a fair bit during the EFL Overview. Affectionately referred to as "K-Leth" on the pod, Kyle Letheren's 24 appearances for Morecambe in the second half of that season were a key factor in The Shrimps' League Two Play-Off promotion. Since then, it's been something of an itch to have him sit opposite us. An itch which, we're delighted to say, has now been scratched on a stage in a working men's club in Alvethorpe. Kyle sat down with GKU to talk about his goalkeeping father Glan, battling to be a No1 and ambitions of reaching the very top of goalkeeper coaching.

Become a Patron! After a more than unusual night the guys approach the day with a new lens on things. Frank calls Romero, his handler to suggest the two other cops be invited into "the program" and Sonny attempts to steal booze from Ken. It's not far into their day when the boys are called back to Farmer Jose's cattle ranch to get a peek at a strange body that Jose managed to kill, but as their conversation with Jose continues it becomes ambiguous as to just how far Frank is willing to go in order to silence the spread of unknown knowledge. Amidst all of this, Sonny notices an abandoned feed and seed store called "Feed: The Farmer's Friend" and as Sonny investigates, his brain begins to fracture, shattering in the attempt to digest that which cannot be known.SOCIAL MEDIA: The Amateur HourGAME RECOGNITION: Published by arrangement with the Delta Green Partnership. Keeping their nose low to the scent they meet Jose a cattle farmer with an odd tale of children harassing his livestock... in fact... he has a corpse to prove it. after many revelations about these small children, shared stories, and cold shoulders the three boys finally call it for the night; and it is here where the tormentor of Franks dreams finally speaks to him.
