ANGELA'S SYMPOSIUM 📖 Academic Study on Witchcraft, Paganism, esotericism, magick and the Occult
In this episode, we dive deep into the esoteric teachings of Helena Petrovna Blavatsky, co-founder of the Theosophical Society and one of the most influential occult thinkers of the nineteenth century. Focusing on her mature doctrine of reincarnation as outlined in The Secret Doctrine (1888), we explore how Blavatsky moved away from earlier notions of metempsychosis to formulate a complex cosmology in which the soul—or monad—undergoes countless rebirths across vast spans of cosmic time.Drawing on Theosophical anthropology, planetary evolution, and the doctrine of karma, this episode unpacks Blavatsky's concept of the saptaparna, the sevenfold human constitution, and the soul's gradual progression through root races, planetary rounds, and astral realms. We examine how Blavatsky's vision was both impersonal and democratic, placing individual suffering within a broader metaphysical narrative of spiritual evolution and cosmic justice.CONNECT & SUPPORT

Peloton Minerals Corp (CSE:PMC, OTCQB:PMCCF) president and CEO Ted Ellwood talked with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about the company's strategic shift toward lithium exploration in northern Nevada. At the Resourcing Tomorrow 2024 conference, Ellwood highlighted the proximity of Peloton's North Elko project to a significant lithium discovery by Surge Battery Metals. He explained that Peloton has expanded its holdings to a 30 square kilometre area adjacent to Surge and has recently acquired an additional 10 kilometres. Ellwood noted that Peloton has identified lithium-bearing clay similar to Surge's on its properties and is conducting extensive fieldwork, including soil geochemistry, mapping, and geophysics, to prepare for a drilling program in the spring. Comparing its project's potential to Surge's 11 million tons of lithium carbonate equivalent, Ellwood emphasized the enormous in-situ value such resources could represent. The interview also touched on the importance of domestic critical mineral production in North America, referencing substantial investments by GM and the U.S. government into similar lithium projects in the region. THE WONDERLAND MASSACRE & THE SECRET HISTORY OF HOLLYWOOD is based on the Audible podcast of the same name by writer Michael Connelly (Bosch, The Lincoln Lawyer). This series dives further into Connelly's investigation of the July 1, 1981 Wonderland massacre, one of Hollywood's most famous murder cases that has fascinated people for more than 40 years. This series builds upon the podcast's archival footage of the events and interviews with Scott Thorson, the only surviving* witness on the murder night and the once boyfriend of Liberace and adds additional testimonies and interviews from detectives and prosecutors involved with the case. It is the first and only time that Scott has told his full story on screen (*Note: Thorson has since unexpectedly passed a few weeks ago, making this story more timely than ever). This gritty and fast paced series is directed and produced by Alison Ellwood (San Francisco Sounds, Laurel Canyon) and executive produced by Nick Gilhool and Jen Casey of One Traveler Productions. As one of the pivotal eras of the Los Angeles sex, drugs and rock n' roll scene, the series' events have often been referenced throughout pop culture, most famously by Paul Thomas Anderson's Boogie Nights. The four-part series has its finale next Sunday, September 8th on MGM+. In today's episode of the Tranquil Awakenings Podcast, Debbie will be in conversation with Nicola Ellwood who is a Master Coach and NLP Master Practitioner. From an early age Nicola discovered that she had the innate skill of communicating effectively with others; something which was nurtured within her professional career, as she acquired skills in personal and leadership development. Through this work she unearthed the transformational power of coaching, assisting people to move, progress and make the changes they want to make both personally and professionally, therefore enabling them to be their best self and reach their potential. KEY TAKEAWAYSHigh quality coaching can help you action your goals and realise your potential.Communication skills are important in all areas of life. When you make a commitment to yourself, you can make massive positive changes. When those at the top of an organisation are clear about their goals and work on themselves, that has a positive impact throughout the organisation. It is important that coaches have worked on themselves so that they can be at their best for their clients.Coaching can give you mental flexibility. We have the resources within us, coaching can help us access them. BEST MOMENTS“I was asked to manage a team of coaches and that's where I discovered coaching. And, and I just loved it, and I thought, right, well, if I'm going to manage it, I kind of need to know the depth of it. I really want to know what it is that I'm talking about.”“When you're dealing with personal coaching, you're dealing with the person's life. So, if you're not skilled, competent, and flexible with the breadth of tools, techniques and the ability to be completely client centred, then you're doing your client a disservice, potentially, because you're muddying it with your lens or your experience or your world.”“Sometimes if you're quite people centred, you're quite externally validated.”“To have, you know, almost someone telling me that my instinct was right. It was the first time where I ever really tuned in and became more congruent with myself.”“I choose to work in the executive leadership space because my belief is if I can use who I am and if I can use my skills to help people, towards the top of the organization, then that's going to filter through the organization, it's going to affect more people.”“Many people come to me wanting to thrive, you know, believing, that presupposition that we hold, which is, you know, whatever we think we are, we are capable of so much more, you know, we're so much more than we think we are.”“I would say you already have it within you, whatever it is that you want, whatever it is that you think you need, you already have it. Ask yourself what you want and ask yourself a time when you've had it before because it's pretty likely that you've had it before. You have all the resources within you to be who you want to be." HOST BIODebbie is a seasoned therapist whose journey from being a primary school teacher to an adept therapist has been fuelled by her fascination with the intricacies of human nature. Equipped with advanced certifications in diverse modalities like hypnotherapy, neuro-linguistic programming, mindfulness, meditation, past life regression and many more she has honed her expertise to bring about transformative change. As a full-time therapist and trainer, Debbie's driving passion is guiding others, as well as herself, towards their best selves. Embracing the concept of holistic beings, she firmly believes in addressing the mental, emotional, physical, social, energetic, and spiritual facets of well-being and healing. Hosted on Acast. Author Michael Connelly and Director Alison Ellwood have created a new four-part docuseries, “The Wonderland Massacre and the Secret History of Hollywood” (now streaming on MGM+) and it proves that truth is stranger than fiction. In the summer of 1981, five people were found beaten in an apartment in the Hollywood Hills. Four were already dead when the cops arrived, including two members of the “Wonderland Gang,” which often stole drugs from rival dealers to sell or use themselves. Alison and Michael explain what drew them to this tale of modern noir, how the crime played out and was eventually (mostly) solved, and which celebrities were swept up into its macabre and twisted orbit. Said house was recently demolished at the hands of actor, Chris Pratt and his wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger. We've talked about this already in a previous episode and the following conversation isn't about saving iconic design. We touch on the subject but this is really about Erin's journey, of which her father's architecture is a large part. As is the work of her mother, Gloria Henry. An actress with an incredible career spanning from 1947 through appearances on Parks and Recreation as recently as 2012. Which featured, yep… Chris Pratt, so it all comes full circle. Erin's story is an amazing journey of self discovery and expression. Lessons learned and applied. And you are going to hear all about it, right after this. Thank you, Erin. Thank you for the time and sharing your extraordinary journey. If you are a bit surprised that Erin is not mad about the Zimmerman House destruction, I was too. That is until I heard her rationale, then I understood. Thank you to my amazing partner sponsors, ThermaSol, Design Hardware, TimberTech, pacific Sales and Monogram. Arlene Ellwood of Austin-based nonprofit Mobile Loaves & Fishes and architect Todd Ferry of Portland State University join the podcast to discuss the measurable impact tiny house villages have had on people experiencing homelessness, how architects can engage the community to help offer solutions, and how this model can serve other communities across the country.
This podcast examines solutions to address the issue of homelessness in the urban environment. Todd Ferry, an architect and senior research associate at Portland State University's Center for Public Interest Design, discusses building communities in Portland, Ore. Ferry was part of creating Dignity Village in 2004, a self-governed encampment, which has evolved over several years to a community of tiny homes built by residents and Americorps volunteers. Arlene Ellwood is the Architectural Design Coordinator at Mobile Loaves & Fishes, which operates Community First! Village, a 51-acre permanent location. Community First is poised to grow to nearly 2,000 homes across three locations, which would make it by far the nation's largest project of this kind, big enough to permanently house about half of Austin's chronically homeless population. Learning Objectives:Describe the root causes of homelessness.Explain the importance of architects physically visiting potential design sites.Discuss the project goals and challenges associated with the Community First! Village.Explain how community, autonomy, and security help create successful strategies for homeless encampments. Credits: 0.5 AIA LU/HSWSpeaker: Aaron Prinz

As September ends, it is time to start thinking about the holidays as they are fast approaching! This week's episode features the Ellwood City Hometown Holiday Toy Drive and we're honored to have Rhiannon Schnell, Board of Director member of the Ellwood City Chamber of Commerce & representative of the Ellwood City Borough. We start the episode off learning about what this wonderful Hometown Holiday Toy Drive is and why it is so important for the community. The toy drive is a collective effort between the Ellwood City Chamber of Commerce, the Ellwood City Borough and the Ellwood City Area School District. The school identifies families that may need extra help at Christmas time. The Chamber of Commerce handles the advertising and acts as the main sponsor of the event and the Borough handles toy collection and helps with distribution. What makes this toy drive so special is that it is specific to only the families that live in Ellwood City. Everything collected stays in the Ellwood City community! If you're wanting to donate but are wondering what is being accepted: New, unwrapped toys for really any age are appropriate. The toy drive helps families with children from kindergarten all the way to 12th grade. Also, if there are any smaller children in the family, we will do our best to help them out as well so really no toy is too young. We do accept monetary donations that would be used to purchase gift cards for some of the older kids if we do not have items suitable for someone in high school. We do encourage people to donate items that would be able to be used for older kids such as make up kits for older girls or hoodies for the boys. Checks can be made payable to the Ellwood City Chamber of Commerce and mailed to the Ellwood City Borough in care of Rhiannon Schnell at 525 Lawrence Avenue, Ellwood City PA 16117. Leigh shares some words of wisdom on how she finds the right tradespeople, the right properties, and her intuitive approach to designing spaces with a good ‘feeling' about them.To see what we mean, take a look at Leigh's amazing apartment in South Yarra's iconic Beverly Hills complex and her dreamy beach house on the Great Ocean Road in this story here! You can follow Leigh on Instagram @leigh_ellwood.
