Today on IGN The Fix: Games, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick has described the launch issues that plagued last year's release of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy as a 'glitch' that has since been 'resolved'. During a CNBC interview, Zelnick spoke about the release of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy, where he appeared to draw a line under the issues that the collection of classic games suffered from across a number of consoles. "With regards to the GTA trilogy, that was actually not a new title," Zelnick stated when speaking about the game. "That was a remaster of preexisting titles. We did have a glitch in the beginning, that glitch was resolved." Students from Warsaw University in Poland have created a fully detailed, to-scale map of The Witcher universe's continent, and it's a doozy that shows off the scale of Geralt's adventures from Kaer Morhen to Skellige and beyond. The map reads a lot like any other professionally designed map, just you know, with fantasy cities and countries. It even comes with a helpful set of symbols that divides cities by population scale, country borders, and even elevation. And it's all brought to you by Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Extraction

Halo Infinite Multiplayer is here with an early release. What do we like, don't like, what is coming up for it, and whats parts are a wait and see. We also gave some initial impressions of Pokemon Brilliant Pearl, Inscryption, and Dungeons of Ederra. Xbox released its final 70 backwards Compatible Games and amongst that also added FPS boost to more titles. Age of Empires 4 is working in collaboration with the University of Arizona for community content. Completing the content can also earn university credit, which is neat and cool to see education and gaming fuse. Rockstar made an apology and is giving early adopters of Grand Theft Auto The Trilogy copies of the classic PC versions and is going to bring back the Classic to the Rockstar store. Lastly, Dead Cells dropped a new free update that is a crossover DLC with Hollow Knight, Blasphemous, Skull, Guacamelee, Hyper Light Drifter, Curse of the Dead Gods. We quickly talk about Steam Deck getting delayed till February of 2022 and Back 4 Blood being number 2 sales for October. Big rumor mill that Halo Infinite Multiplayer will release on November 15th for the Xbox and Halo CE celebration. Which if is true you will probably be aware since this episode was recorded prior. Lastly, big shout out to Deep Rock Galactic selling 3 million units and pushing out its largest update. If you have it on Steam the update is available. Today, they've announced a release date—November 11 for the digital version—and an official price that'll make your eyes water. And, at last, video footage comparing the originals to the remasters.Rockstar's official page for the games has just gone up, revealing that the trilogy of classic murder-fests—GTA III, GTA: Vice City and GTA: San Andreas—will be yours in 20 days if you get a digital version. For physical editions on all formats, it'll be December 6 in Europe, December 7 in the United States. Any of those versions will cost you a blistering $60 on PC, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and the Xboxes.Of course, you're getting three absolutely enormous games here, so $60 might not immediately seem so bad. It's just that we're talking games ranging from 17 to 20 years old. Which is to say, announcing the pre-orders with less than three weeks to go, and slapping on a premium price, is asking players to exercise a lot of faith.However, we can finally see a short glimpse of how the three games will be looking, compared to the originals, in this just-released video:The games' site explains that the games have been remastered by Grove Street Games, the same Florida studio that ported the original versions across to mobile. You're playing GTA Online in a public lobby, doing your personal crimes and heists while other players go about their business. Suddenly, the screen goes black, and when it comes back up you're in front of a home or garage entrance along with every other player in the lobby. Everybody is surprised, angry, and armed.That's what's been happening to an increasing number of PS4 and Xbox One players since Rockstar pushed a small GTA Online background update live yesterday. One minute you're minding your own crime business, the next you're in a fight for your life against everybody present. YouTuber GeriatricGTA posted a video of the glitch in action earlier today. It starts with them walking in a circle in the middle of a street, as one does, and ends with them so very dead.Being randomly teleported is old hat to PC GTA Online players due to all the modders on that platform, but it's something new and novel for the Xbox One and PS4 crowd. While many Redditors discussing the glitch are suggesting that somehow the modders have finally figured out how to be annoying on console as well, popular GTA Online data miner Tez2 has a much less sinister, slightly more stupid explanation. I've found that it offers a ton of tools for converting, manipulating, and processing all sorts of files: video, audio, image, and documents etc. Plus there's some other useful tools in there. Very handy and easy to use. I'm starting to prefer it to Handbrake for basic video conversions. It's worth looking through everything you can do in one piece of software. Beware when installing: there are some checkbox screens offering up additional software that can be unchecked to avoid.
