That question, of course, asks if the brothers are returning to the MCU to tackle the consequential megamovies currently in the pipeline. Unfortunately for their fans, the answer, as delivered to Variety, leaves little ambiguity. "We're always talking; we'd need to see what would work,” he said. "We won't be ready to do anything with Marvel until the end of the decade." Additionally, the trade qualifies the comment -- reportedly made in early October -- with the idea that the duo have "known the truth for years." Eternals Producer Confirms the MCU Isn't Done With Them Yet https://www.cbr.com/eternals-mcu-return-confirmed/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1BfNGz0wuK0&t=481s While speaking to Phaze Zero about the next cinematic entry in the MCU, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, (at the 8:01 minute mark) producer Nate Moore was asked about the possibility of an Eternals sequel, another Marvel film he produced that was directed by Chloé Zhao and introduced an entire new team to the franchise. Though he did not share any specific plans, Moore confirmed that the Eternals will appear in the MCU's future. "I don't want to spoil anything, but we have not seen the last of those characters." Hugh Jackman Promises an Angrier, Grumpier Wolverine in Deadpool 3 https://www.cbr.com/wolverine-hugh-jackman-angrier-grunmpier-deadpool-3/ At a red carpet interview with AP at an event for director Florian Zeller's film, The Son (for which Jackman headlines), the imminently returning Wolverine was asked about his Deadpool 3 return. While short on details, he did describe the demeanor his signature character will have in the upcoming threequel. "There's no choice. He's definitely the angrier, acerbic, grumpy. And he's going to take a lot of free shots at Ryan Reynolds -- physically, that is." Of course, Wolverine's mood will be a crucial element to the film since it will seemingly center on the interplay between Jackman's perpetually irate X-Man and Reynolds' loquaciously sarcastic mutant assassin. Yet, regarding his eventual grumpy performance, he also said, "I'm going to have the time of my life." Welcome to Episode 3 of BULLSHITTERY Podcast! Look at you, supporting this chaotic artist by listening to her chaotic podcast!? Legend!? Hellooooo! Join me as I chat with my friend Adam Rose; actor, dancer, content creator, comedy icon, blue-cardigan king, dad & hubby! Adam is the best & I'm so happy you're here to learn more about his illustrious life as a performer. Here's his IMDb bio: Rose made his debut opposite Robin Williams and Julie Kavner in Woody Allen's Deconstructing Harry. Born to a would-be Rabbinical cantor and an opera singer, Rose embraced music at an early age and excelled at Tap, Jazz, Ballet, and the martial arts training he underwent. It was during this same time that Rose was cast to be the voice of Peanut for three years, as the title-character on PB & J Otter, a cartoon on the Disney Channel. Soon after Rose would perform under the direction of Michael Mayer (Spring Awakening, Thoroughly Modern Millie) alongside Kristen Johnston and John Pankow in Peter Hedges' Baby Anger. The successful portrayal of a young boy with cancer led to subsequent guest spots on TV's Ed and Third Watch.Having developed a passion for live theater, Rose landed a role on stage with Theodore Bikel in The Gathering and went on to tour with three consecutive productions - including the pre-Broadway tour with Hal Linden. Throughout his time on stage and in recording booths, Rose continued to grow his love for dance, and at age 15 went on to become the youngest to ever teach dance at the renowned Broadway Dance Center in New York. While continuing to study the dramatic arts at New York's famed LaGuardia High School of the Performing Arts, he appeared on the hit series The Sopranos and the Comedy Central movie The Hebrew Hammer, starring Adam Goldberg. It was soon after that Rose had the honor of working with Noah Baumbach, Jeff Daniels, Laura Linney, and Anna Paquin in the Oscar-nominated The Squid and the Whale, as Otto - the best friend of Walt, played by Jesse Eisenberg. After four years of Shakespeare, character study, dialects, clowning (-study, not literally), vocal and dance training and all other school subjects, Rose was done with High School and ready to head west. The exodus was aided by his role on the production of Dead End, directed by Nicholas Martin at the Ahmanson Theater in Los Angeles' famous Music Center. Rose starred as Angel, one of the Dead End Kids, alongside Jeremy SIsto, Tom Everett Scott, Joyce Van Patten, and Kathryn Hahn. He later appeared in HBO's Voyeur Internet project, directed by Jake Scott, and soon after earned a role in Kenneth Lonergan's Margaret. Rose once again found himself on-set with Anna Paquin, along with Matthew Borderick, Matt Damon, Mark Ruffalo, and Kieran Culkin, just to name a few. While still acclimating to life in LA, Rose continued to make appearances on many hit TV shows. Follow Adam everywhere at @realadamrose. It's time to talk about the Parks and Recreation Season 4 Finale! That's right, this week Mark and Allen break down the long-awaited Episode where the City Council race finally comes to a end! Election Day has arrived - all the hard work, all the long nights, all the sacrifices, it's all come down to this. The gang is pumped, excited, and a little stressed, as the latest polls have Leslie and Bobby Newport neck-and-neck with each other. As the day proceeds, Leslie tries her best to keep her crowd pumped up, while also trying to distract herself and not freak out, as more and more of the polling results come in. Late into the day, the Leslie Knope crowd gathers in, as the final results are reported ... Meanwhile, Jennifer Barkley was so impressed with the way Ben handled Leslie's campaign, that she offers him a job working for a congressional reelection campaign in Washington DC, but if he takes it, he'll have to leave in two days, and be there for six months. Despite all the election craziness going on, Ben discusses it with Leslie, who is a bit upset, since it would mean Ben moving away just as their lives return to normal. With both Leslie and Ben conflicted about the Washington job offer, they both seek advice from others as they try to come to some sort of conclusion and agreement. Finally, as election day preparations go underway, Andy gets a call from a panicked April, asking for his help. Apparently, April was tasked to do something with files, blah blah blah, it froze, blah blah blah, she got annoyed, blah blah blah ... and she accidentally deletes all of the department's files on ALL the computers ... blah blah blah. Andy tries his "best" to help (which, you know, is only worth so much), but fails to retrieve the files. April is freaking OUT. As always, we tackle the tough questions, such as ... What final voter machine shenanigans do the Newports try? How does Ann attempt to distract Leslie? What advice does Ann give to Leslie? Who does Andy end up calling to help out April? What advice does Ron give to Ben? Do they recover the files? Does April get fired? Will Ben accept the job offer? Can our gal, Leslie Knope, pull off victory? Loyal podcast viewers, this is it, the Season 4 finale - we PROMISE you won't be disappointed! Don't miss out. As a bonus, stay tuned during the break for a very special feature involving Bobby Newport attack ads!

They're back! Join us this week Mark and Allen break down the penultimate episode of Season 4! Leslie is only 2-points behind Bobby Newport going into the last day of the Campaign. Listen as Leslie, Ben, April, Andy and Jerry board the S.S. Knope (a giant RV with Leslie's face all over it and future home of Benslie) and hit as many last minute stops as possible while avoiding Political boobytraps set by Bobby and his Campaign manager Jennifer Barkley! Also aboard the S.S. Knope, Andy (in his Bert Macklin persona) works to solve the mystery of a pie-attack earlier in the Campaign using Jerry and several dozen pies to recreate scene of the attack. Meanwhile Ron, Tom and Donna, visit BBB Auto and it's lovely owner (jerk) Bill Butler who, despite having taken their money previously is now refusing to rent vans to the Knope Campaign who needs them to help Seniors get out to the polls on Election day. Did we mention Bill is a top-class jerk-nozzle? And, finally, Chris occasionally joins the gang on the S.S. Today's ep is an absolute manic rollercoaster. This week Mark and Allen break down the Episode we finally see Leslie and Bobby Newport go toe to toe! The day of the debate is finally here. Ben gives everyone final assignments, and helps Leslie continue to prepare for the debate. Before the debate starts, they discover Bobby Newport is freaking out, thinking this may be good news. The debate starts. Leslie is prepared and confident, but Newport campaign manager Jennifer Barkley is strangely calm. As the debate rolls on, 3 things become apparent: 1) Bobby is spouting a combination of broad prepared answers, combined with bouts of utter nonsense. 2) Bobby is still charming, his nonsense is largely unoffensive, and the crowd (including moderators Perd Hapley and Joan Callamezzo) seems to be swayed in his direction. 3) Leslie going on the offensive with attacks against Newport makes her seem like a bully, prompting Ben to tell Leslie to ease back a bit. Meanwhile, Ben has assigned Chris, Ann, and Tom to be the Knope Campaign Spin Team. Tom is upset because Ann once again broke up with him (for reals this time), and it appears that Ann and Chris have been acting very close, further upsetting him. Later in the Debate Spin Room, Chris opens up to Ann and tells her that he wants to give their relationship another chance, which Tom witnesses, further upsetting him, and causing him to undermine their efforts at positive spin, by lashing out at reporters. Finally, Ben has assigned Andy, April, Ron, and Donna to hold a viewing party of the debate at TRFKAB for Leslie's donors. Everything seems to be going okay ... until they turn on the TV, ready to watch the debate ... and they get a screen telling them their cable service is off ... apparently SOMEONE forgot to pay the cable bill. With none of them knowing what to do, and wanting to keep the attention of the donors, Andy ... starts acting out movies he likes. As always, we tackle the tough questions, such as ... Can Ben come up with the right pivot strategy? Can Chris convince Ann to get back together with him? How will the donors react to Andy's one man show? Will Leslie win back support from the audience? Will Tom's grumpiness cause the Knope Spin Team to fail? Can Ron help them to get the cable working again? What is Jennifer Barkley's secret weapon? Loyal podcast viewers, Amy Poehler wrote this episode, and it shows ... one of the best of the entire season, and maybe the entire series. Don't miss it! Bad Moms: Join host Jill Collister and Guest, Lisa Kinnard as they live almost the exact same life for a moment... a cliche and "tale as old as time"-- Then unfortunately, the gardener gets involved and they both never get "their things power-washed." They explore their new single mom lives and discover that there is no such thing as a Bad Mom even though we feel that way all the time. Bad Moms is a hilarious 2016 American comedy film directed and written by Jon Lucas and Scott Moore. The film stars an ensemble cast that includes Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, Kathryn Hahn, as moms who decide to be "bad." The film also stars Jay Hernandez as the hottest dad you've ever seen, Annie Mumolo, Jada Pinkett Smith, and Christina Applegate as Alpha-moms. Please rate, review and subscribe.
This dramedy is my first AppleTV+ show to feature, and it came recommended to me by a friend. It is the story of Marty and the therapist who turned his life around- then took it over. When he meets Dr. Ike, Marty just wants to get better at boundaries. Over 30 years, he'll learn all about them- and what happens when they get crossed. Starring Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd, and Kathryn Hahn. I just started this series and am eager to explore it along with you! Enjoy!
This week Mark and Allen break down the Episode where we first see the great Pawnee TV show, "The Final Word, With Perd"! Leslie is catching up to Bobby Newport in the polls, resulting in the firing of his campaign manager. Ben has Leslie try to secure the endorsement of Ned Jones, President of Pawnee Seniors United. Ned is impressed with Leslie's plan to install ramps for senior citizens all over Pawnee, but saves his endorsement until after he meets with Bobby's NEW famous campaign manager, Jennifer Barkley, who typically works in national elections. Although Jennifer is courteous and dislikes Bobby, she later trashes Leslie on television. Leslie announces her "Ramp Up Pawnee" plan to members of Pawnee Seniors United, but is upstaged by Jennifer, who announces Bobby's "Rise Up Pawnee" plan using electronic lifts instead of ramps, which Ned loves. Meanwhile, Chris tells Ron that with Leslie spending less time with the Parks Department, he will need to hire a deputy director. When Ron balks at this, Chris asks him to prove they can function without Leslie by quickly finishing one major project. Ron decides to take up Ann Perkins' proposal of creating sanitary water fountains, as Pawnee's citizens have a habit of wrapping their entire mouths around the spout. Ann rallies the gang to try and brainstorm a few potential ideas, but one thing leads to another, things quickly go off the rail, and everyone gets into a huge water fight. As always, we tackle the tough questions, such as ... Can Ben rise to the occasion and out-think Jennifer Barkley? Can the gang deliver a solution to the water fountain dilemma? Who gets the endorsement of Ned Jones, Leslie or Bobby Newport? Does Chris end up hiring a deputy director? How did JJ's Diner get a new cappuccino maker? Will the Parks Department END up with a SHAKE up? Podcast viewers, we've seen Leslie Knope antagonists before, but NEVER one like this! Could Jennifer out-maneuver Leslie? The stakes are getting higher - tune in to find out! Many thanks to our incredible sponsor, often imitated but never duplicated, "JJ's Diner".
PRIVATE LIFE could've been a ruthless exposé of a multimillion-dollar industry that preys on desperate souls who just want to raise a child or two. Or it could've been an edge-of-your-seat thriller about a husband & wife who take advantage of a clueless, idealistic young woman. Instead, it's an artsy-fartsy drama about Paul Giamatti & Kathryn Hahn having a terrible marriage. Give us all the movie stars in an expensive romcom and we still want more Kathryn Hahn. That's just one of the many complaints from one co-host as we celebrate the return of baseball this April with our own list of the sport as featured in film. "Instead of juicing it up with jokes, Brooks has inadvertently given us another story of the American condition, which is that of absolute and incorrigible self-centredness" was the take from Anthony Quinn of the Independent. And while not wrong... a little harsh for a movie where Owen Wilson hands out gift baskets like Derek Jeter and Paul Rudd makes a bet with his father that he can get Reese Witherspoon to fall in love with him, otherwise a prison sentence is in order. It's all very sporting and nice. A lovely episode! On the finale of their Fondavision miniseries, Emily and Danita try to wrap their heads around why someone as incredibly talented and charismatic as Jane Fonda would sign on to something as outrageously bad as 2014's This is Where I Leave You. After reviewing all the ways that movie could have treated Jane (and Kathryn Hahn and Rose Byrne) better, they launch into their Official Jane Rankings (hint: they have a very similar Top 6!) before offering a final word on what they learned from spending a year with the legendary actor and activist.
This week we are reviewing the 2010 rom com How Do You Know featuring an amazing cast with Paul Rudd, Owen Wilson, Kathryn Hahn, and Jack Nicholson alongside our girl Reese Witherspoon. In this episode, we present to your earholes some beautiful, whimsical and wonderful friends of the pod Your Magic. Today, Your Magic pulls back the curtain on the many misconceptions about Satanism. Exploring demon conjurings (spoiler...they can be kinda cute!) and the beef between the Temple of Satan and the Church of Satan. Meeting three different types of Satanists- atheistic, theistic and satanic witches- we mostly learn that the devil is our friend. Plus, we dive into the meaning of The Devil card with Hannah Graves, creator of Cult Mother Tarot, learning how to work with its dark and disciplinary energy. Your Magic is a podcast hosted by author Michelle Tea. Every episode explores contemporary spirituality and magic with lots of humor and heart. Usually, they read their guests tarot – including people like Kathryn Hahn, Japanese Breakfast, Phoebe Bridgers, and so many other amazing people and then offer a DIY spell or ritual that anyone can do. But, in this episode – the host Michelle Tea dives deep into Satanism, the Satanic Church and the Satanic Temple and explores what it actually looks like to worship Satan. Welcome to The B-Side, from The Film Stage. Here we talk about movie directors! Not the movies that made them famous or kept them famous, but the ones that they made in between. This is the third episode of what we are calling The Final Frame. Here we will dissect the final film of a great, well-respected filmmaker, wrapped in the context of said filmmaker's entire career. Our subject today: the recently departed Peter Bogdanovich. His final film: She's Funny That Way, starring Owen Wilson, Imogen Poots, Kathryn Hahn, Rhys Ifans, Jennifer Aniston, Will Forte, Austin Pendleton, George Morfogen, Richard Lewis, and Cybill Shepherd. But wait! That's only half-true! Before the half-hearted release of She's Funny That Way, there was another version of the film. Its title? Squirrels to the Nuts. This is the cut that Bogdanovich wanted the world to see. Until the studio made him change it. And our guest, James Kenney, is the man who saved Squirrels to the Nuts. He recounts the tale in a great piece on his wonderful website. We discuss Bogdanovich's entire filmography. How he broke in under the umbrella of Roger Corman; his impossible three-film run of The Last Picture Show, What's Up Doc?, and Paper Moon; the professional downfall that preceded a tragic personal downfall; his pseudo-comeback with Mask, quickly followed by a career making movies for TV. And then, after all of that, The Cat's Meow, a Tom Petty documentary, and this complicated final film. Kenney speaks eloquently about Bogdanovich's gentle aesthetic, and we marvel at Squirrels being his first self-generated work since They All Laughed. There's much time spent discussing the marked differences between the two versions, and not nearly enough time marveling at the performance Bogdanovich got out of Cher in Mask. The same goes for Kenney's defense of the much-maligned Illegally Yours! Be sure to give us a follow on Twitter and Facebook at @TFSBSide. Also enter our giveaways, get access to our private Slack channel, and support new episodes by becoming a Patreon contributor. We are also now on Spotify and Stitcher. Enjoy!

A style of comedy that seems to be fading away a bit, we're talking about "The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard" from 2009 directed by Neal Brennan and starring Jeremy Piven, Kathryn Hahn, David Koechner and Ving Rhames. Does anyone even remember this movie? Join our Patreon and gain access to our monthly "90 OVER 90" episodes! We are all driven by the notion of fate. Some believe that fate is inevitable, while others believe that fate is what you make of it. And then there are those who believe that fate is given a push by luck. Some seem to have all the luck while others were born under the proverbial bad sign. On this episode of FIVE DOLLAR BUZZ, the Buzzards chat it up with two people that made a movie about the pursuit of good luck and the extremes of which the central character will go to achieve it. I, CHALLENGER is a stoner comedy with flourishes of horror, thriller, sci-fi, absurdism and a lil bit of romance. It stars James Duval (THE DOOM GENERATION, DONNIE DARKO, SLC PUNK) as Sid, a man-child who plays video games all day and sells weed, and is about to be evicted. In desperation, he gets his newfound gaming buddy Logan (played by Coy Stewart) to help him bury himself with a livestream video for 24 hours. It's an idea he saw online that was seemingly successful for some Russians. Let's just say, nothing really goes as planned. Co-starring Tina Majorino (WATERWORLD, NAPOLEON DYNAMITE), ground-breaking rapper MC Lyte and legendary comic Margaret Cho, the film is a high-wire act, full of surprises and plenty of shenanigans. You can find the film on all VOD platforms including Amazon Prime, Apple TV, Google Play, Vudu, etc. We are lucky to have Writer-Director Paul Boyd and Co-Writer Kara Scobey Brown with us on this episode. Paul is a heralded music video and commercial director who has worked with such artists as Shania Twain, INXS, Blind Melon, Sting, Tina Turner, Lionel Richie, Backstreet Boys, deadmau5, Bryan Adams, Jamiroquai, Lenny Kravitz, Seal, Digable Planets, just to name a few. He directed his first feature film, 2008's VICIOUS CIRCLE, a tragic punk Latino love story set in Venice, California. The film won Best Picture at 2008 HBO New York International Latino Film Festival, the Audience Award at the 2008 Orlando International Film Festival and Best Director at the 2009 Downtown Film Festival - Los Angeles. Kara is a seasoned veteran in many facets of film and television production including writing and production managing for Lady Gaga for four years. That includes many of her music videos and television specials, such as "A Very Gaga Thanksgiving" with Tony Bennett. With her production company Electric Soup she produced the series "The Greatest Event in Television History" for Adult Swim with Paul Rudd, Kathryn Hahn, Jon Hamm, Adam Scott, Amy Poehler. She also produced the docuseries "Sex on//" for HBO. So roll up a fatty, light 'er up and take a stroll with Kara, Paul and the Buzzards as we talk about the making of I, CHALLENGER, their respective careers, the soon to be released film WE ARE GATHERED HERE TODAY made during the pandemic, a little bit of music and the films we all love. It's the filmmakers' journey in all of its glorified, hard fought uphill climb to completion on this episode of FIVE DOLLAR BUZZ. After taking a spin through celebrity genealogy with Pamela Adlon and Kathryn Hahn who co-starred in the latest episode of "Finding Your Roots," the Bagels tackle Jewish erasure in "How I Met Your Mother/Father" and in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (in advance of the forthcoming "Moon Knight" TV show on Disney+). Plus, the Bagels get fashiony (is that how we say it?) and talk about Zendaya's Hebrew dress, Jeff Goldblum's Chasidic couture, and how David Beckham's son has a possibly very Jewish wedding coming up.
