I opened things up discussing the Astros rolling the dice to sign Josh Hader (2:29) before divvying up the blame for Saturday night's Texans loss (12:53). After that, I wondered TRULY how distracted Houston's O.C. Bobby Slowik may have been before Saturday in Baltimore, testing my own ability to do my job AND apply for one (24:43). And to wrap things up, I discussed an epic scam in Houston PLUS it's hilarious coverage by legacy media. (34:35)

0:27 - I moved back to Houston. Here's why. (And don't worry, this will remain a Seattle/Houston podcast) 6:47 - I'm glad that Brian Flores is suing the NFL. But it has nothing to do with the alleged discrimination, and everything to do with a problem across sports. 14:52 - It's practically impossible to unite all Seahawks fans, but I've got an argument based on old school football AND science (physics to be exact) that all fans should be able to agree on. 22:40 - The Texans won't be winning an optics battle anytime soon. But can we lighten up just a little bit before assuming every decision will turn into a disaster? 29:31 - My Lord and Savior Tom Brady (did I stutter?) retired. I'll tell you what aspect of his career impressed me the most. 36:31 - I caught up with my good friend - and Seattle radio legend - David Grosby, aka "The Groz". We talked about his 50 year career in the business, his favorite Seattle sports memories, and how fans can keep from becoming spoiled. 1:29:27 - And to wrap up the show, I answered an Ask Gallant Anything Question: what's the most embarrassing thing you've done to try and impress a girl? You can ask questions to the show too. Email GallantSays@Gmail.com, or leave a voicemail at 781-452-4322.

In the opening take, Grant provides his quick thoughts on what he saw Sunday night. Then Lee joins to wonder aloud if we're all jaded by Oklahoma quarterback play (5:35)? OU's defense had a perfect start to the game and we let Kenneth Murray give his overall thoughts on how his guys played (11:15). Alex Grinch played a bunch of guys Sunday night and we briefly talk about Bookie's performance (15:10). Let's talk about the defensive line rotation, their play, and the lack of pre-snap movement (20:20). Ronnie Perkins was fantastic (25:40), as was Kenneth Murray (28:40). A listener wants to know the guys' thoughts on how Pat Fields and DTY played, which leads to a way too long discussion about pass interference penalties (34:40). Lee doesn't think we learned a lot about the secondary's ability to cover, while Grant disagrees (39:25). Is OU's defense going to look more like the first half version moving forward, or the 2nd half version (43:30)? OU didn't force any turnovers and Alex Grinch was devastated by that, plus we rate the defense's performance on a scale of 1-10 (46:15). It looked like OU spied D'Eriq King at times, but then chose not to spy him at other times (52:20). Would the front seven have played better against a less elusive QB (56:25)? Compared to last season, shouldn't we all be ecstatic about the way the defense played vs Houston? Plus we talk about depth, who played, who didn't play, and random players and plays that stood out to us in the game (58:00). Over to the offense where the guys argue over all three of Jalen Hurts' incompletions. This is why you listen to this show (1:08:00). Lee's worried that Hurts will get hurt because he's going to be running a bunch all season (1:13:05). A listener thought Hurts may not have gone through his progressions enough Sunday night (1:15:30). The offensive line looked good, and Grant has a random conspiracy theory surrounding Erik Swenson (1:20:05). Only three running backs dressed for OU, which ended up being okay because Sermon, Brooks, and Stevenson all looked good (1:22:20). 10 different players caught a pass from Jalen Hurts as we go over the wide receiver play (1:26:40). Lincoln Riley took responsibility for OU's first missed FG and Grant pleads Riley to never use kickers ever again (1:28:55). It was just another ho hum dominant offensive performance by OU (1:31:10). We finish up the offense talk with a soundbite from what seemed to be an annoyed Jalen Hurts (1:33:40). The rest of the podcast is the guys talking OSU, Texas, Oregon-Auburn, the terrible SEC East, FSU blowing it, and a hilarious story about Hugh Freeze that Lee had no idea about (1:37:00). TOPICS: Segment #1: "Raiders win one for Al Davis in Houston" The Raiders had a VERY emotional win in Houston last Sunday. The game was won on an interception by Michael Huff (being called, "The Immaculate Interception") when the Raiders had only 10 men on the field. Afterwards Hue Jackson told the team that "Coach Davis" was the 11th man on the field during that last play. Raider Greg details the game and we include audio from Hue Jackson in the emotional locker room. Segment #2: "Amy Trask - CEO on the Go" The Raiders are in good hands with Amy Trask as CEO. Raider Greg has met her, and tells you his feelings about her. We also include audio of a radio Amy did recently where she speaks of her long relationship with Al Davis and the emotional win in Houston. We also include audio of former Raiders players, coaches, and others who Al Davis' life had touched. We hear reactions from John Madden, Raymond Chester, John Gruden, and Greg Papa. Segment #3: "Cleveland Browns at Oakland Raiders Pregame" The Browns are 2-2 and cannot be taken lightly in this game. It will be a special game.
