We open on Fives meeting with Shaak Ti. Shaak says that the chancellor wants the tumor. Shaak is going to take the tumor to the Jedi temple first, and Nala Sey protests.AZ3 runs into Fives in the halfway, and their clone guards aren't super good at the whole guarding thing. AZ lets slip that Fives is to be mindwiped and assigned to Sanitation duty. Fives is done getting the runaround and as it turns out an Arc trooper is more effective than four guard clones who never made it off Kamino. Imagine what he could do with Sanitation, probably some sort of Space Cloaca Maxima. Dave Filoni call me.Fives steals a ship and makes a break for it, but ditches it to swim back to the cloning facility. AZ3 is apparently a distant cousin to Lazerbeak and turns into a jetski. Meanwhile Nala Sey calls Darth Tyrannus. Tyrannus gives her marching orders: the Jedi must never know about the true nature of the inhibitor chip.Fives and AZ3 start doing science: the implant is foreign which means it's intentional. Fives starts taking off his helmet like he's the main character in a Marvel movie. Fives has AZ remove his own chip because he's maybe the best character in Star Wars? But do all clones have the chips? To the embryo farm!! Looks like all the clones have the chips. Nala Sey interrupts and explains the truth: Sipho Dyas ordered the chips implanted. Fives is upset that the Jedi might have done this to the clones. Shaak shows up and Fives basically gets to the heart of the matter when he says that the chips have to be removed or the entire Grand Army of the Republic could be compromised.Nala Sey says that Fives should be terminated and that he is property. Interesting production note, Ayn Rand and the Daughters of the Confederacy have writing credits on this episode. Weird. Shaak says that he's actually property of the Republic, that and a lightsaber apparently carry the day. Fives and Nala Sey are to accompany Shaak and the evidence to Coruscant.Fives is drugged by Nala Se, right under JEDI MASTER Shaak Ti's nose, and then presented to Chancelor Palpatine. Nala Sey insists the chip in every clone is fine, but Fives protests. Palpatine suggests he speak to Fives alone… So he can be more open and speak his mind. During this private conversation, Fives “attacks” Palpatine and is chased by Shaak Ti. She loses him when she orders a clone to “close the blast door”... always a mistake.Coruscant goes on lockdown looking for the wayward clone. Upon Anakin's suggestion, Mace instructs Anakin to conduct a “quiet investigation”... Anakin's strong suit. Fives goes on the run to a clone bar, the 79's. Fives explains to 501st clone trooper Kix what is going on and that he needs Anakin and Rex to meet him at some secret coordinates.Anakin and Rex show up at to meet Fives. He starts to explain what's going on with the chips and what's going on in his head… and in the process sounds a little cuckoo while explaining his theory. Palpatine's clone guards show up and shoot Fives… But not before he was maybe getting through to at least Rex, if not Anakin as well.Palpatine tells the Jedi that Nala Sey found out it was something in the water in Ringo Vinda, and that the Kaminoans have already developed a vaccine to administer to all clones. Palpatine and Dooku Spacetime (™) and congratulate themselves on covering up order 66.https://twitter.com/ClosingCrawlhttps://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/closing-crawl/id1530133296https://www.closingcrawl.com/Merch at: https://bit.ly/spacetimetm
There's a battle for Ringo Vinda, a massive space station surrounding an entire planet. Anakin leads the clones, along with twin Jedi sisters Tiplee and Tiplar, against the Separatist droid onslaught of the station. Anakin relays his battle plan, with Fives and Tup to assist the twins. Unfortunately Tup is overcome with a headache and a sneer forms as he says the word “Jedi.” During a final push on the droids, with victory in sight, Tup loses it and shoots Tiplar, killing her.The Separatist Admiral Spacetimes(™) with Dooku and informs him of the clone's behavior, calling him “entranced.” Dooku Spacetimes(™) with Sidious that the clone's behavior could ruin his plan; Sidious tells Dooku to capture the clone.Tup repeats the phrase “good soldiers follow orders” multiple times before finally lunging at Tiplee with another muttered “kill the Jedi.” Anakin and the clones decide to send Tup back to Kamino for examination believing it could be some sort of biological warfare designed against the clones. While departing, some Iron Man Mark 2 droids overtake the ship and capture Tup. Anakin devises a plan to reclaim Tup. They track his signal, space walk, hitch a ride, board the ship, and get him back. With this, they are now ready to send him back to Kamino. Now Rex and Fives are taking him back to Kamino for intensive evaluation. They meet with Master Shaak Ti and Kaminoan scientist Nala Se. Shaak Ti explains that Tup's actions may be the result of a virus, and Fives could also be infected. Rex, who has been with Fives and Tup this whole time, is sent back to the battlefield to spread the virus to as many clones as possible. After further consideration, Shaak Ti argues that Tup's condition is purely mental and caused by Separatist brain washing. She wants an atomic brain scan to prove it, which may kill the weakened Tup. Nala Se, on the other hand, states this is a virus or physical ailment, and prefers to perform an autopsy, which will very likely kill the weakened Tup. They depart to inform their superiors, where we learn from Nala Se and Lama Su that this is actually part of 'clone protocol 66', and Tup's inhibitor chip has been activated early. They contact Lord Tyranus via SpaceTime(™), who explains they must keep the inhibitor chips secret from the Jedi.Shaak Ti contacts the Jedi Council via SpaceTime(™), who order her to bring Tup back to the Jedi Council for examination. Meanwhile, Fives has convinced medical droid AZI-3 via unbreakable computer logic that AZI-3 must perform the potentially fatal atomic brain scan - if they don't, Tup might die! One space MRI later, AZI-3 and Fives learn that Tup has a brain tumor of some sort that might be causing his condition, before they can investigate further, Nala Se arrives to explain that the tumor doesn't exist. Fives isn't going to let little things like orders or pushy customer service reps stop him from saving a friend, so AZI-3 hacks the Gibson and creates a fake intruder alert just in time to prevent Tup's euthanasia. AZI-3 removes the 'tumor'. Once removed, Tup awakens, talking of the mission in the Clones' dreams that never ends. Declaring the nightmare over and himself free, Tup promptly dies!Shaak Ti and Nala Se contact Chancellor Palpatine to inform him of the death of Tup and the discovery of the tumor. Shaak Ti says it will be sent to the Jedi Temple for study, but Palpatine has a better idea - send it to the Grand Republic Medical Facility, which is state of the art, and also under his control.https://twitter.com/ClosingCrawlhttps://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/closing-crawl/id1530133296https://www.closingcrawl.com/Merch at: https://bit.ly/spacetimetm

The galaxy is a lot darker tonight.... In Identity Crisis, The Bad Batch goes into some gloomy territory with the stories of this double episode, as we see just what Hemlock is up to in his experiments. Kids are being kept as specimens, used for their blood and treated like lab rats. Emerie Karr gets promoted to Chief Science Officer, and finds out what Nala Se was working on...or who rather once she gains access to the vault. She isn't comfortable with the situation, but feels powerless to do anything. Moving into Point of No Return, we are met with the most tense episode yet, as Pabu is invaded when the operative finds out where Omega is hiding! He brings a full assault on the peaceful island and will stop at nothing to capture her. Things do no end well, as we see the team fail in keeping Omega safe, and once again she becomes a prisoner of Hemlock. How will the team find her now? Send in your thoughts to the show! This final season of 'The Bad Batch' is coming at us fast. It was less than a month ago that we were treated to a dramatic two-part episode that left the team reeling, and now again this week another two-part episode drops, and it's another doozy. First, with "Identity Crises" we spend time back on Tantiss with Doctor Emerie Karr as she takes over for Nala Se on Project Necromancer. It's the first time a current or former member of The Batch doesn't appear on screen, as we instead spend the entire episode on Tantiss learning more about the insidious work being done there. It's gripping dramatic television. Next, with "Point of No Return", the stakes ramp up to 1000 as the Empire strikes out against Pabu in an attempt to recapture Omega. The action here is stunning and where the episode leaves off sets up a thrilling final few episodes as we lead into the series finale.

In this episode titled "The Return," tensions rise as Crosshair's loyalty is put to the test. With target accuracy at 53%, Crosshair and Hunter set out on a mission to decrypt Nala Se's datapad in hopes of finding the elusive Tantiss. However, trust must be rebuilt between the two, especially after Crosshair's defection to the Empire. The episode delves deep into the strained relationship between Hunter and Crosshair, tracing back to the events of Order 66. Crosshair's departure from the team and subsequent imprisonment intensifies the conflict, culminating in a revelation of truths and regrets. As Crosshair returns to the outpost where he made a pivotal decision, the haunting presence of a vulture adds layers of symbolism to his inner turmoil. The roundtable discussion sheds light on the creative decisions behind this imagery, emphasizing the theme of survival in the face of darkness.(The first few minutes we lost audio, apologies).

Mount Tantiss is a super secret imperial facility that no one knows the location to, so they decide to fire up Nala Se's data pad to get some information. I think this could lead to them finding out that Tech is indeed alive there, and perhaps being experimented on. They want to see what's in the vault, and to get schematics on the entry points to the base. However, it's imperially encrypted. Crosshair tells them that if you plug it into an imperial computer, the encryption will be bypassed. So they head back to Crosshair's previous mission on Barton IV, the ice planet. Now we know why this episode is called the return. Because Echo returns, and so does Crosshair with his brothers, and his return to the ice planet. As they prepare, Wrecker tells Omega not to worry about Hunter constantly eyeing him, he's just being protective. Clearly crosshair is understanding of the situation and of his own wrongdoings as we see later in the episode at the end. Wrecker gives Crosshair his old armour and he observes it. As they land on the ice terrain of Barton IV, they exit the ship and Crosshair wears his old armour and it looks epic. As they get to the abandoned depot, they divert power, and hook up the data pad. Crosshair walks off into a room as the boys configure the console and he picks up the frozen clone trooper helmets from Commander Mayday and his men who patrolled the station. As Hunter watches, he starts to observe there's more to Crosshair, that there's some human in him after all. A story to be understood. Later outside, he confronts him, where Crosshair tells him he betrayed the Empire by killing an imperial officer. He told him he risked everything to tell him and warn him. He blames Hunter for his failure which caused Omega to be captured, and they almost fight as Crosshair tells him the only reason he's mad is because it was him who saved Omega and not Hunter. A massive ice worm breaks out from underneath the ice and tries to eat them all. The team all work together like old old times to reactivate the system that sends a frequency out to keep the creature at bay, like a dog whistle. They eventually overcome the beast by working together and they remember that they are brothers after all. Crosshair tells him that he's done things he regrets, that he thought he was being a good solider with following the empire. and Hunter tells him no one really understood what was happening back then. He regrets things too, and all they can do is to keep trying to be better. This is the whole motif of Star Wars, that no matter what you've done in life, as long as you correct your ways and change, that it's never too late. This is the story of redemption, of Anakin Skywalker, the hero's journey and the mantra for life. I think the next episode will be about asajj ventures, as this one ends on a happy note, as they now get the information they need to find Mount Tantiss and free the clones, as well as perhaps find Tech who I really believe is still alive and being tested on. I think Asajj, somehow, is back in the picture, and she's a bounty hunter who could be hired to find the bad batch and once she does, ends up joining them. Learn more about your ad choices. Doctor Hemlock arrives and i think he's like the original dr pershing who looked after baby yoda in the mandalorian. He's probably the head doctor of cloning or experiments for the empire now. He speaks to imprisoned Mistress Se, aka Nala Se who looked after Omega on Kamino. He asks her if she wants to be part of such a scientific achievement of all there work here. I think she's there to hopefully help them in the life support and medical health of their cloned monsters and experiments. They go to the crashed ship, transport 904 which is near a village on a planet. As they enter, they find the electrostaff from the clone commando, and they realize something bad happened here, and whatever it was, wasn't human. We get a super dark horror scene vibe from this episode and it's really fun to see. The ineterior of the ship has a full on cloning lab in it. Omega recognizes the equipment as Kaminoan, but she doesn't recognize any of the electronics as it's different from the ones used on Kamino. They finally come across the beast and try to shoot it when it runs away to charge up by eating electricity. They eventually shoot an opening out of the ship and the Zillo beast escapes to the village, Tech and Omega head to the lab inside the ship to find out what the creature is. As Wrecker and Hunter head to the ship to try and stop the beast. feeding on another electrical station, the beast grows massively as he transforms into the zillo beast just like we saw on Coruscant. The Zillo Beast is incredibly powerful and nearly invulnerable, with a thick, armored hide that is impervious to blaster fire. The Republic forces eventually manage to subdue the beast and bring it back to Coruscant for study. However, they soon discover that the Zillo Beast is highly intelligent and possesses a level of consciousness that rivals that of many sentient beings. Palpatine sees an opportunity to use the Zillo Beast's powerful hide for his own purposes and orders its destruction. This leads to a confrontation between the beast and the Jedi, who are conflicted about the ethics of killing such a unique and powerful creature. In the end, the Zillo Beast is killed by a toxic gas, but not before it unleashes its wrath on the city and nearly kills Palpatine himself. The incident raises questions about the morality of using living beings as tools and foreshadows the dark turn that Palpatine's rule will take in the future. The cloned Zillo Beast is now fully grown and impossible for the bad batch to stop, which is when the Empire shows up out of hyperspace in super star destroyers, as gun ships with clone commandos in them fly out. Taking out the Zillo Beast clone as they scoop him up. The Empire arrests all the citizens of the village as no one can know what the Empire is doing with their evil cloning projects. Remember Andor? The Empire wants to keep everyone quiet if something gets leaked, and if not, they want to keep a facade like they're up to nothing nefarious or questionable. The Bad Batch get out of there and blast off into hyperspace, as we see Clone Commandos harness the zillo beast clone in a tube of gooey water. The crew discover that palpatine had ordered to clone the zillo beast back when he was just the chcanellor and not the emperor. Tech deduces that the empire didn't destroy Tipoca city on Kamino to destroy the cloning facilities, but merely to control them without anyone the wiser. Hunter tells Tech to send this intel to Rex and Echo. Doctor Hemlock speaks with former prime minister lama su, as he complains that Nala Se, his chief scientists, isn't cooperating. Lama Su gives up information on how to command Nala Se to doing what he wants, which is working as the scientist for all the empire's nefarious cloning experiments. Lama Su tells him to capture Omega who is the key to controlling Nala Se. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
In Episode 2 of The Bad Batch, did you notice this quick scene with Omega? When she's super sad and takes off her head pendant from Nala Se? This scene shows me that she is sad she's lost the only mother figure she's ever had, and the only home she's ever known. Does she regret the decision? Is she just going through a rough time after almost being eaten by the Nexu? Could she try to go back to Kamino to save Nala Se? Will the Bad Batch try to reverse Order 66 in their brothers? Will a revolution begin? Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
In The Bad Batch episode 3, Nala Se tells Lama Su that Jango Fett's DNA is not very usable anymore, pushing them more and more to advance to phase 3 Clone Troopers. Why is Jango's DNA so important to begin with? What will Phase 3 look like (let's talk more about it adding to yesterday's topic and episode on Omega) and how could this impact the Clone Troopers going forward. Learn more about your ad choices. The Bad Batch finale is here. 16 weeks of episodes flew by and we were left with an ending that was heartfelt and happy...except nothing too exciting happened to keep us on the edge of our seats for season 2. I love this show, but tonight's finale was weak in my opinion. We left the season the same way we entered it, with Crosshair and Hunter making a decision and splitting up. Nala Se is tasked to make clones and work on experiments for the empire, most likely Snoke, Palpatine's body double, and more experiments with Grogu, connecting into The Mandalorian, most likely in some way. I'll see you all in season 2! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
Back to the Bad Batch! Our Heroes deal with the horrors of a cloned Zillo Beast, while the ominous Dr. Hemlock coerces Nala Se. Kathryn Laffrey, Jon Koral, and Robert King discuss the story and explore where one finds the moral conviction to do what's right.
The board is set, the pieces are moving, as we close in on the season (possibly series?) finale of The Bad Batch! Doctor Royce Hemlock travels to an Imperial facility on Mount Tantiss to meet Nala Se. He tries to persuade her into taking part in the Emperor's cloning projects, but she refuses. Meanwhile, a covert transport bound for Mt. Tantiss ends up stranded, and Cid assigns the Bad Batch to recover its cargo. While exploring the wreck, they discover that the "cargo" is an immature Zillo Beast secretly cloned away from Kamino to serve as a living armament resource. An Imperial strike force is sent to recover the Beast and capture all nearby witnesses, forcing the Bad Batch to retreat. Shortly after, Lama Su is brought to Mt. Tantiss to persuade Nala Se to cooperate. Crosshair activates Hunter's comm-link, luring the rest of the Bad Batch into a trap. Omega shows the others a hidden entrance into Nala Se's secret laboratory, where they were all originally created and where they find the friendly droid AZI-3 in hiding. They find Hunter, who tries to convince Crosshair to have his inhibitor chip removed, but Crosshair reveals that it has already been removed and he is willingly working for the Empire. Hunter stuns Crosshair as Rampart, under the orders of Tarkin, begins destroying Tipoca City with the Bad Batch and Crosshair still inside. S1-E16 "Kamino Lost" When the wreckage of Tipoca City begins to sink into the ocean, Rampart and the Empire depart while the Bad Batch aim to escape the city before it fully submerges. Omega and AZI-3 save Crosshair when they are trapped in a flooding room. Once the wreckage settles on the ocean floor, the group make their way to the tube that leads to their ship, but find it damaged. AZI suggests that he guide them to the surface inside lab capsules but runs out of power on their way up. Omega tries to save him at the risk of drowning, until Crosshair saves them both. When they reach the ship, Crosshair chooses to part ways with the Bad Batch. The Floor is Lava" spielen möchte.
Episode 70 "Infested" and "War-Mantle" Welcome to episode 70 of Radio Free Endor, and The Bad Batch Report where we catch up week by week with Clone Force 99 and there escape from the newly formed galactic empire. Am Jamie you host and with me is my son Christopher. S1-E13 "Infested" The Bad Batch return from a mission to find Cid's Parlor under the ownership of crime boss Roland Durand. They find Cid outside, and she reveals a plan to take back the parlor by stealing a shipment of spice from Roland that is intended for the Pyke Syndicate. The Bad Batch and Cid enter her office via underground tunnels infested with a hive of Irlings. They successfully retrieve the spice, but are chased down by Roland's guards who awaken the hive. The group escape from the tunnels, but the spice is taken by the hive. They are caught by the Pykes, who take Omega hostage while the Bad Batch and Cid retrieve the spice from the hive. The Pykes then let Cid reclaim her parlor. S1-E14 "War-Mantle" The Bad Batch are contacted by Rex, who asks them to help clone commando Gregor who is sending a distress signal from the planet Daro. At the source of the signal, they find an Imperial base where conscripted troopers are being trained by clone commandos to replace the clone trooper army. Hunter, Tech, and Echo infiltrate the base while Omega and Wrecker stay in the ship as backup. The Bad Batch rescue Gregor, but Hunter is captured during the escape. On Kamino, Lama Su and Nala Se plan to escape after the Empire cancels their clone army contracts, but they are caught by Admiral Rampart, who has use for Nala Se as a scientist but not for Lama Su. 00:00 The Bad Batch Intro 01:47 Hellos and Welcome 03:45 The News 32:20 The Bad Batch Report S1E13 42:25 The Bad Batch Report S1E14 66:50 End of the Show 71:36 Bonus Bit: How it should have ended: Lama Su If you want to have a say about anything Star Wars or the podcast then drop us an email or record a voicemail on your phone or pc, it can be as long as you want send them to us at radiofreeendor@gmail.com Our website http://www.southgatemediagroup.com/radio-free-endor-star-wars-podcast We are also one Discord, so join us for a live discussion https://discord.gg/MWDqudzj Also if you would like to support the show the please head over to my Patreon page. https://www.patreon.com/sirjedijamie Links Star Wars: Visions | Special Look | Disney+ https://youtu.be/b9Gr9gKFxpE Heres a link so you can help me out to rebuild my pc after the fire https://gofund.me/811bb551 TIE Fighter Remastered - Star Wars Anime Short Film https://youtu.be/E9GRYa_3gno Radio Free Endor on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC1JMM-D7FLuVEQrlXnXz1OQ Brand New Tee shirts available at Tee Publichttp://shrsl.com/?icde @radiofreeendor radiofreeendor@gmail.com @Jamie_R_burns sirjedijamie@gmail.com @ghostheadsuk ghostheadsuk@gmail.com Christopher Burns @BurnedChris @FSJamOrg Southgate media group @SMGPods Search for us on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube

Hey! Hey, you! First things first, if you have not left us a review on Apple Podcasts yet, would you mind taking a quick second to do so? We haven't gotten a new one in a while and we would really, really appreciate it!Hosts Alyce and Laura have only one item on the agenda*: The Bad Batch finale! But can they survive this disaster?Since the first episode, Crosshair has questioned Hunter's decisions and claims Hunter's "failed leadership" is the reason they are on this collapsing facility. Both Hunter and Crosshair want to be the leader of the team. Ultimately, the crew decides whom they will follow. How can it be Omega is older than Clone Force 99? Keith will explain. And what does the Empire have in store for Nala Se?

Welcome back to the season 1 finale of Star Wars The Bad Batch Episode 16 "Kamino Lost". We say farewell to Hunter, Omega, Crosshair, Tech, Echo and Wrecker as we discuss the finale in spoiler filled detail. Until next season. The Bad Batch Episode 16 "Kamino Lost" Synopsis Series Created by: Jennifer Corbett, Dave Filoni, Brad Rau Episode Written by: Jennifer Corbett Story Editor: Matt Michnovetz Episode Directed By: Saul Ruiz With a hail of laser fire raining down from Vice Admiral Rampart's Venator-class Starships the cloning facilities of Kamino crack apart. With the Kaminoan facility breaking apart around them, the Bad Batch, their new droid AZI and a sour Crosshair have to make it to their ship, the Havoc Marauder, to escape. Making their way from the central buildings to Nala Se's private lab is fraught with danger. Separated by blast doors from the bad Batch and with seawater rapidly encroaching in their enclosed chamber, Omega struggles to free Crosshair trapped under a fallen rebar. Using her ingenuity she manages to free him and reunites with her team. As they reach the lab, where they were all previously cloned and experimented on, the disintegrating facility detaches and falls to the bottom of the Kaminoan ocean. To free themselves from a watery grave the team use their original testing tubes and, guided by AZI, float themselves to the surface. When AZI and Omega are trapped trying to escape, Crosshair uses his deadshot skills to save them. Finally reaching their destination the Bad Batch offers to take Crosshair with them but he refuses. Omega pleads with him saying he is a brother to them all, but Crosshair's mind's made up - Kamino, the Republic, regulation clone troopers and the Bad Batch are over, in their place the Empire will rise and he will be part of it. With his faith in the Empire, he stays behind hoping to be rescued by Imperial scouts; while the Bad Batch board their ship and leave. Meanwhile, on another world, Kaminoan lead cloning scientist Nala Se is delivered to a new imperial base and the Empire has many new projects that require her expertise. All we have to say is WOW! On this episode we cover the penultimate episode of the 1st season of The Bad Batch "Return to Kamino" Join the crew as Admiral Snackbar takes us on a ride through the tubes to Nala Se's secret podcasting lab beneath the city. This episode goes a little long, but with an episode and cliff hanger like that what do you expect?
Are they really The Bad Batch? The show has billed the team as a bunch of misfits and mistakes, but it turns out they've been engineered by Nala Se. When the series started, it wasn't clear what direction Dave Filoni, Jennifer Corbett, and Brad Rau were taking the show, but now that a season two has been greenlit and a cloning scientist has been captured, it's starting to look like there really is a plan to tie things together with either The Mandalorian or perhaps the sequel trilogy. Steve condenses the second half of season one of the Disney Plus show just as he had for the first half back in June. There are plenty of places to find detailed show breakdowns, but This is the Way we'd like to handle shows like The Bad Batch. Crosshair takes Hunter back to Kamino. Will the Empire force Hunter to have a new inhibitor chip implanted? Not quite. Meanwhile, the Batch is on the way to Nala Se's secret laboratory to rescue Hunter. Things (once again) do not go as planned. A stand-down takes place at the deserted facility. The cloning technology is now in the hands of the Empire. The Imperials are preparing to wipe the facility from existence.

It's the first part of the season one finale we're chatting all about Star Wars The Bad Batch Episode 15 "Return To Kamino". This is a great set up for the end of season one and the recently announced second season. The Bad Batch Episode 15 "Return to Kamino" Synopsis Series Created by: Jennifer Corbett, Dave Filoni, Brad Rau Episode Written by: Matt Michnovetz Story Editor: Matt Michnovetz Episode Directed By: Nathaniel Villanueva Crosshair has captured his quarry. He returns to Kamino to present Hunter to Vice Admiral Rampart with the knowledge that the rest of the Bad Batch will follow when he activates Hunter's homing beacon. After fixing up their ship the Havoc Marauder the Bad Batch pick up Hunter's signal and, as predicted, set off to rescue their brother-in-arms. Using Omega's knowledge of the hidden areas of Tipoca City on Kamino, the team makes it into chief scientist Nala Se's secret laboratory. Omega explains that this was their birthplace. She was there when the Batch were brought to life. While in the lab the team meets up with a droid in hiding, AZI-3, who explains that all of the clones have been reassigned from Kamino and all major scientists have been removed from the planet or eliminated.Meanwhile when Hunter discovers that the cloning planet is being decommissioned he appeals to Crosshair to give up on the Empire and they can remove his control chip before all of the Clones are replaced. But Crosshair refuses. He knows he's on the right side and knows he no longer belongs with the Bad Batch. He realised this when they left him behind to be experimented on by Nala Se and Admiral Tarkin. Tech, Wrecker and Echo try to retrieve Hunter but, when they are surrounded by Crosshair's men, they are saved by Omega's quick thinking. In the stand off Crosshair gives the Bad Batch the choice he never had, asking them to join him on the side of the Empire. They refuse knowing the impact the Empire is having on the galaxy. With cloning technology now in the hands of the Empire, Vice Admiral Rampart, believing Crosshair has turned on them, orders the destruction of Kamino's capital city, as the Bad Batch, Crosshair, Omega and AZI try to escape the burning city. John and Derek get together to chat all about Star Wars The Bad Batch Episode 14 "War-Mantle". We discuss all the big moments, revelations and some Easter eggs in our spoiler filled chat. The Bad Batch Episode 14 "Infested" Synopsis Series Created by: Jennifer Corbett, Dave Filoni, Brad Rau Episode Written by: Damani Johnson Story Editor: Matt Michnovetz Episode Directed By: Steward Lee In the middle of another off-world job for Cid, The Bad Batch are contacted by former Clone Captain Rex. He's received a distress call from a former comrade, CC-5576 also known as Captain Gregor, from the planet Daro. Convinced by Omega that it's their duty to help, the team go to Daro to find the missing trooper. On Kamino, under direction from Vice Admiral Rampart, every clone trooper, young and old, in the cloning facility is ordered to leave the planet. Prime Minister Lama Su is even more concerned at these events as the Empire has cancelled all contracts with the Kaminoeans for any future cloning and so he arranges transport off planet for all essential workers including himself. Back on Daro while trying to locate Captain Gregor, Hunter discovers a massive hidden facility in the mountains. Security is high but despite the overwhelming odds Hunter, Tech and Echo find and free the missing Captain. During their escape, in a tussle with these new “TK” troopers, the Bad Batch discover these are not Clones. Captain Gregor reveals that this facility is filled with volunteers loyal to the Empire under Project “War-Mantle.” These new recruits are known as “Storm-Troopers” and there is an endless supply of them in the galaxy. With the Bad Batch stranded on top of the mountain pursued by Storm Troopers, Wrecker and Omega fly the Havoc Marauder in to save them. In the confusion of the rescue, Hunter falls out of reach and he orders the batch to leave him behind and they reluctantly comply and Hunter is taken prisoner. Meanwhile on Kamino, Vice Admiral Rampart discovers the Kaminoan escape plot and feeling that politicians will be of little use to him, Rampart takes Nala Se and her team of scientists with him and orders for the Prime Minister to stay behind. As Hunter stews in his prison cell on Daro he gets a visit from Crosshair. He was hoping they'd catch the full team, but Hunter will have to do.
