Jon Beebe's favorite titles are husband, girl dad, friend, and man of faith. After those titles, he is a proud member of BillsMafia, a traveler, and an avid entrepreneur. His life mission is to live and work in a way that allows him to engage more with those he loves and the things he loves. His lifestyle shows that this is not just something Jon talks about, but he also actively lives it out. When it comes to business, Jon desires that his companies also provide resources that allow others to engage more with those they love and the things they love. Having worked more than 35 different jobs, he finally decided to take his experiences and create the life he wanted for himself and his family. His latest career before going into full-time entrepreneurship was as a pastor (14 years). Most of those years were spent as a youth pastor at one of the largest churches in the country (LCBC Church, PA). Due to some anxiety his wife was going through and him almost reaching the point of burnout because he was pastoring and helping run his and his wife's affiliate marketing company, he decided to leap into full-time entrepreneurship. His life has had its share of struggles, from suffering crippling emotional/psychological abuse growing up, navigating life with dyslexia, being told by his college registrar that he would never make it far with the degree he chose, and never seeing his beloved Bills win a Super Bowl. With all the struggles, there have been way more wins. Jon married his best friend, Lauren, in 2007, and they have three beautiful daughters (Ava, Juiliana, & Londyn). Together Jon and Lauren own Beebe's Bargains. Beebe's Bargains is an online affiliate marketing company that saves people time and money by finding the best deals on everyday products. Since its start in October of 2018, they have seen exponential growth, saving their community hundreds of thousands of dollars yearly on everyday products. As of May 2023, their Facebook community is over 63k and organically growing by an average of 700 members a month. Community building is one of Jon's strengths. Along with Beebe's Bargains, in June of 2022, Jon founded Beebe Travel. He acts as a Travel Specialist, inspiring people to travel and teaching them how to make it happen, no matter their time or budget constraints. Jon is also an entrepreneur coach and loves helping people see their dreams come true and achieve financial freedom. When he's not serving people with his businesses, he loves traveling to Disney World with his family, following his hometown Buffalo Bills all over the country, and spending time with friends. “Listen, some people are whooped right now. Wag your tail, find what's good in your life. Find gratitude, what's going on. Write it down. Because the one thing, when I come home, good day or bad day, and there are days that are bad and I'm tired and everything else, or come home from a trip and it didn't go the way I wanted, or back's hurting or something like that. Guess what? I'm coming home to a waggin' tail,” says Todd Durkin, Motivational Speaker, Personal Trainer, Best Selling Author and Life Transformer. Jarod and TD went a bit off topic during the Life Fueled by Fitness series and talked about some other essential practices we need to be utilizing everyday. JC and Yancy also give us a great rundown on how Todd actually walks the talk. This episode is about finding those things to be grateful for and to “wag your tail” no matter the circumstances. Amy and Joe sit down with writer, activist and speaker David Poses and talk about his highly anticipated darkly funny addiction memoir “The Weight of Air: a memoir of a double life, fueled by addiction and mental illness”. Poses explains why he thinks depression is the gateway drug and discloses that he’s been on Suboxone for 13 years for his heroin addiction. We talk about religious discrimination in AA, 12 step’s resistance to medication, drug policy, science and how Dr. Carl Hart has rocked the recovery community with his admission that he’s used heroin “recreationally” for 5 years.

And don't forget to leave me a review!Check out more about Faith Collective here:jessieconley.com/p/faith-collective Join my FB group here:https://www.facebook.com/groups/1872555683014403/
Today’s guest is the host of the “Life Fueled by Faith” a health and weight loss podcast for Christian women, which I absolutely love to listen to! She’s a certified health and weight loss coach and is making a huge impact on so many women through her courses and coaching. It’s an honor to have her on the show, please welcome Jessie Conley! Jesse Connley's Website: https://www.jessieconley.com/ Listen on YouTube: https://youtu.be/SQDbBAidECY STARTER QUESTIONS: - Tell us a little about yourself and how you became so passionate about helping other women, I know that everything changed for you when you had your children, as it did for me. A lot of women can relate to that! - You are a big advocate for intermittent fasting, what is your daily eating schedule like? - What kinds of foods do you eat, is there anything that is off limits for you? - You are really outspoken about your faith, which I really respect! How has your relationship with God impacted your view of yourself, your body, and diet and exercise? - Before we get to listener questions, tell us about some of the courses you offer, I know you offer one about emotional eating, and about intermittent fasting, what else do you provide? LISTENER QUESTIONS: Q1 - 16:18 I have a four-year-old daughter and recently gave birth to a son about 6 months ago. When I had my daughter, I was in my 20s and the weight literally fell off, but I am 31 now and it is completely different. I’ve tried cutting out sugar and carbs, but even that isn’t working. I hear you talking a lot about Intermittent Fasting on the podcast and want to try it, but I see a lot of mixed reviews for moms that are breastfeeding. What is your opinion on IF and breastfeeding? -Mary in Dayton Q2 - 19:46 You’ve mentioned before that one of the benefits of Intermittent Fasting is less meal prep- which I absolutely love! I typically eat one meal a day, which is dinner. By the time I get off work and pick up my kids from daycare, it’s almost 6 pm and I really don’t feel like cooking! But it is so important to me that my family sits down and eats dinner together like I did when I was growing up. Do you have any good meal prep tips to share so that I spend less time in the kitchen in the evening, but don’t settle for unhealthy, convenient foods? -Jamie in Pittsburg Q3 - 24:12 I loved your podcast about emotional eating! I took your online quiz and determined that I am a stress eater, which didn’t surprise me one bit. I love to go through the drive-through at the end of a stressful day. I have been really mindful about finding other outlets for my stress, and have been doing a lot better. The area I still struggle with is my bored eating, mostly at night when I am hanging out at home. I just can’t stop grazing! Do you have any tips to help with this? -Ashley in Northern Virginia Q4 - 30:06 I am really frustrated because I have been working out with a trainer 3x a week for the past two months, and am not seeing results. The first month, I didn’t lose any weight but I was kind of prepared for that because I heard it was normal. However, I just had my month 2 weigh in and the scale has only budged a pound! Do you think I am not doing the right kinds of exercises with my trainer? What kind of exercise do you recommend? As for my eating, I am sticking to a 6-hour eating window each day, and trying to stay under 1600 calories. Am I eating too much in my window? HELP! * Jennifer in Louisiana Q5 - 33:32 I’ve been married for about a year now. As soon as I got married I determined that I was not going to be that person who let herself go once she landed a guy! Around that time I started Intermittent Fasting. Most days I eat in about a 6-hour window, sometimes I eat One Meal A Day. This sounds weird, but I’ve noticed lately it is taking a toll on my relationship! My husband works crazy hours, and our time to connect is in the evenings. One of our favorite things to do is go out and have dinner, or make something really yummy at home and enjoys it together with wine. Typically, this didn’t happen till 8 or 9. Now that I am limiting my eating window, I can’t do this anymore…esp on days I eat one meal a day, there’s no way in heck I can wait til 8p. My husband mentioned the other day that he misses this. I love fasting and don’t want to sacrifice my health but I also don’t want my marriage to suffer. I legit start crying in this episode - it's so powerful to FEEL!! Your feelings and your thoughts have a direct impact on your health and weight loss journey. Our society tends to make us feel like we need to keep our feelings to ourselves - women are "too emotional" or we "are nagging". Men are not "manly" if they show their feelings. Suppressing our true feelings - and not living our authentic selves in alignment with our beliefs - leads to illness, disease, and mental health issues. In this episode, I talk about this and it's effects on our health and weight loss. You HAVE to listen to this one! It's amazing!Follow me on Instagram @jessieconley and tag me that you're listening!Join my free facebook group, Life Fueled by Faith here: p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 23.0px; font: 12.0px 'Helvetica Neue'; color: #e4af0a} span.s1 {color: #454545} https://www.facebook.com/groups/1872555683014403/ Check out my website jessieconley.com

NONE. So why is this the “recommendation” of a lot of “fitness experts”? Well, it’s because it’s been repeated so many times, by so many people, it’s accepted as “common knowledge” and therefore “fact”. But if you look for actual scientific and medical research to back it, there is none. Think about it this way: Americans keep trying this idea of eating multiple meals/snacks a day, and even counting calories, and yet we are the most obese and the most unhealthy - and we keep getting worse. At some point common sense needs to kick in here. If snacking helps you lose weight, why are we all GAINING weight? I am currently accepting private 1:1 clients.
