Recovery must involve measures that ensure honesty, such as full disclosure, accountability software, and open communication. A recovering addict who resists these steps often signals deeper issues, such as shame, denial, or a reluctance to fully commit to change.Additionally, addiction's impact extends beyond the marriage. In homes where secrecy and avoidance dominate, children are more likely to mirror those behaviors, reinforcing cycles of addiction, dishonesty, and manipulation. Parents have a responsibility to create a safe environment, modeling integrity and setting boundaries to protect their children from destructive influences. Arguments that dismiss tools like porn blockers ignore the fact that true accountability isn't about restricting freedom, but about fostering an environment where trust can be restored and maintained. The choices made in recovery don't just determine personal healing—they shape the household and future generations.Ultimately, recovery is about more than abstaining from harmful behaviors—it's about transformation. An addict must decide whether to continue protecting their addiction or to prioritize their relationship. True healing requires humility, vulnerability, and an openness to change. V mreži, ki so jo vzpostavili za kampanjo, je sodelovalo več kot 300 organizacij z več kot tisoč prostovoljci v EU.Kandidata sta bila še: Jernej Kruder, športni plezalec, ki je v eni največjih in najslavnejših sten na svetu v kalifornijskem El Capitanu prosto preplezal tisoč metrsko smer El Corazon, ocenjeno z 8a po francoski oziroma 5.13b po ameriški lestvici. To je prva slovenska prosta ponovitev smeri El Corazon, sicer pa najzahtevnejši skalni prosti vzpon Slovencev v El Capitanu. Marko Ponjavič, prostovoljni voznik s Hrušice pri Jesenicah, ki je pri 18 letih postal najmlajši prostofer pri nas. Pri projektu, ki starejšim omogoča brezplačni prevoz k zdravniku, po drugih nujnih opravkih in do javnih ustanov je eden od redkih voznikov, ki z Jesenic vozi tudi v Ljubljano in tako pomaga starejšim, ki ne zmorejo uporabljati javnih in plačljivih prevozov.

Abortion is a deal breaker for some voters. That's the case in the US where Joe Biden is making Donald Trump pay a political price for his role in overturning Roe vs. Wade. That's also been the case in Poland where a wellspring of pro-choice sentiment helped remove the ultraconservative Law and Justice party last year. So could that same dynamic have an impact on voter choice across Europe? Yes, says Nika Kovač, the coordinator of the My Voice, My Choice campaign, which recently launched a petition for a million signatures using a European Citizens Initiative. My Voice, My Choice proposes a new EU fund to backstop abortion rights in Europe no matter what EU member state they live in. Women still could afford to go to other EU states offering the procedure — assuming crossing EU state lines isn't called into question. But for Nika and team members like Kristina Krajnc and Maria Mayrhofer, their campaign is not just a health or feminist matter. It's also about turning the spotlight on abortion rights to diminish the electability of the hard-right and ultraconservative theocrats in the European elections next month, in legislative elections in Austria this fall, and in other upcoming contests.Support the Show.

To say, "My Body, My Choice" is a "Can't Touch This!" subject is most likely an understatement. So why in the world would we talk about this hot potato? The simple reason is that we need to know what a Christ follower's response should be and how to respond. Also, we might also find out that many Christ followers (none of us of course) apply their response to others while skipping the application to themselves.

Today's culture makes it harder than ever to be Catholic. There are so many different choices out there, many of which go against what Catholics say and often what society says is ok. So why be Catholic? The Church certainly has not had a pristine history and many other denominations bring up interesting arguments that certainly make you think.
