"The field recording resonated with me as the theme is about families who have moved around the world and come together to meet and talk about food, farms and gardens. I was born in the US and grew up near Chicago where my father's family settled from Germany in 1911. "I have cousins in Germany and I now live in Wales, with a Welsh husband. My older daughter, Ellen, was born in Scotland, but now lives in Wales and she just had a baby in November so I have included recordings of us at a Welsh market in Talysarn, Wales, UK and Ellen reading a story in Welsh to her daughter Nimue, in Caernarfon. Nimue is 6 months old and sings and gurgles in response. "I love the weaving of the different conversations, laughing and relaxed. The footsteps of me in the garden denote the the small steps we take to travel the world and come together with food, conversation and love. I used the original recording without any effects and just shortened the length. All my sounds were recorded on a TASCAM DR-05 including the Kawai ES110 piano, and then mixed using Audacity. Nimue returns to Avalon as Uther, on the brink of death, names three men as the Edling King Mordred's protectors. Merlin seeks Arthur in Gaul and asks him to return to Britain. Gundleus, Ladwys and the Silurians arrive at Avalon to pay their respect to Queen Norwenna and the baby, before unleashing a surprise attack. The season finale of Cursed is here, and the explosive conclusion leaves us with as many questions as it does answers. Nimue and Merlin both surrender themselves to save those that they love. Tensions between the Fey and humans of Gramaire lead to harsh consequences for the aggressors. Gawain withstands torture rather than betray Nimue, and Squirrel proves why he is one of the best characters on television, period. Arthur finds a smuggler willing to transport the Fey to safety, but the ships will not be there before the Grey Monk. Nimue comes up with a plan to take the city of Gramaire back from the Red Paladins, and is reunited with an old friend. Morgana begins to see her future take shape in Gramaire. Merlin tries to bargain with Cumber the Ice King for Nimue's safety, but her new title amongst the Fey and the fact that she holds the Sword of Power poses a threat in his quest to claim the throne. The Widow sees Nimue's future, and it does not look good. Merlin attempts to strike a deal with Cumber the Ice King in return for Nimue's safety. While Gawain and Arthur come to a reluctant truce to ensure everyone's safety, Nimue comes to their rescue with her most dramatic show of magic yet.
