Reconciliation enacts the spirit of generosity. It was God's generous love for us that he sent his son Jesus to die for all humankind to reconcile us back to himself. And it is this same generous love that we must live out as we reconcile with one another. Reconciliation calls us to be givers of God's love so that the world may know him and surrender under his lordship.

Forgiveness and reconciliation are two concepts not only central to the story of Joseph, but central to the Christian faith. Forgiveness is about coming to the Lord with the fullness of your feelings and trusting Him with them. It's an inner work between you and God. Sometimes, this inner work leads to repentance and reconciliation with others. What God desires above all, is reconciliation with you. Pastor Ethan Vanse teaches us about this forgiveness. What we see is how forgiveness+repentance+reformation+trust=reconcilliation.
Most of us know what a joy it is to be reconciled with someone you love. Today's devotional looks at the reconciliation we can have through Jesus Christ. 22nd January 2023 // Summer 2023: Habits that Help Us Grow
As we continue our series on Romans today Pastor Mark has us consider the first couple of verses from chapter 5. Having looked at being credited as righteous through faith in Christ, in these verses Paul transitions to the benefits of being justified by faith. Consider with us what Paul meant by "peace with God;" how we attain peace with God; and the difference that peace with God should make in our lives.
"Christmas" has had a long time to develop a socio-cultural construct all it's own. American Christmas is tied not only to its Jewish foundation, but a millennia and more of european influence plus the steamroller of twentieth century advertising (ever thought: where did the fat red Santa come from? Think: Coke adverts from 1931!). Rick's message series beckons us to give an honest look at the meaning of Christmas and find out that the hope, light, life, and joy that it brings is not found in sentimentality or marketing: it is in the love of Father God whom the angels declared: "on earth peace to men on whom His favor rests." Oh, there is MUCH to be MERRY about! But ... we need to understand it from God's perspective. Check out this powerful podcast!

In recent years, with each election cycle, voting results very often come down to the wire. Consequently, when it comes to politics and ideologies related to our government, America remains completely divided. And with the racial and political reckoning of 2020 after the death of George Floyd, the clash over the true meaning of democracy has burst right back into the spotlight. It's exactly why acclaimed author, Peniel Joseph, decided to release his latest book, The Third Reconstruction. Join us as I SEE U Host Eddie Robinson chats candidly with scholar-activist and professor of history at the University of Texas at Austin, Dr. Peniel Joseph. The forward-thinking historian offers up insight on how he's dissected significant aspects of our American history into three watershed hinge moments and why he argues that it is in this third moment where an opportunity exists for all Americans to effectively confront racism and build new ways of reconciliation, thoughtful action and healing.
