Shaya Morgan (she/her) has been a K-pop fan for eight years. Her first encounter was Psy's Gangnam Style, and the girl group Sistar led her into the myriad of K-pop songs and dances. Her ult group is Exo, but a variety of artists fill her 58-hour-long Spotify playlist. Today's K-Pop Musician is "B.E.P. (블랙아이드필승)". It is a group of composers of the same age born in 1984 with Choi Kyu-sung(최규성), who worked with the Sinsa-dong Tiger(신사동호랭이) as well as many solo compositions, and Rado(라도), who worked as a composer and vocalist in the black music scene. The song that recorded a hit as their collaboration is Huh Gak(허각)'s "Hello" released in September 2011. After that, they started working under the name of B.E.P.(블랙아이드필승) in 2014. SISTAR(씨스타)'s 2nd mini album title "Touch My Body" is the first song that they worked on as B.E.P.(블랙아이드필승). TWICE(트와이스)'s "CHEER UP" released afterwards topped the music charts in 2016. They swept the MAMA Best Producer Award and the Gaon Chart Music Awards Songwriter of the Year Award. Starting in 2017, they established an agency called High Up Entertainment. They produced STAYC(스테이씨), a 6-member girl group for the first time. They are in the management business at the same time. Based on the name of "The Black Eyed Peas", a four-member hip hop group in the U.S, let's take a look at Korean composer group, B.E.P.(블랙아이드필승)'s music.
