He reiterates his belief in two raptures: a pre-tribulation/early-tribulation rapture for the zealous evangelical (Philadelphia) Church, and a pre-wrath rapture for those later converted. The lukewarm or backslidden (Laodicean) believers, he suggests, may go through the Tribulation due to their refusal to be zealous, but Christ still offers them a chance to "get hot" (Revelation 3). Chapter 6 shifts the focus from heaven to the judgments upon the earth, which are directed at unbelievers and those remaining.The opening of the first four of the Seven Seal Judgments unleashes the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse upon the earth. The First Seal releases the Antichrist on a white horse, conquering peacefully through deception and a strong delusion (Romans 1), establishing a global order in a world that rejected God. The Second Seal brings War (red horse), followed by the Third Seal ushering in Famine (black horse and scales), and the Fourth Seal introducing widespread Death and Pestilence (ashen horse), claiming authority over a fourth of the earth. The Fifth Seal reveals the souls of martyred believers (likely Jewish or newly converted) under the altar, pleading for vengeance, while the Sixth Seal brings catastrophic cosmic disturbances (earthquake, black sun, bleeding moon), and the falling of stars (interpreted as demonic powers), signifying the commencement of God's eviction of Satan and the beginning of the "wrath of the Lamb." Mankind's response to these clear manifestations of divine power is not repentance, but an "awful prayer" to the mountains and rocks to hide them from God's wrath, demonstrating the extreme hardness of their hearts.

(This podcast was previously published on January 11, 2021) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... Sometimes we meet a church goer who is totally irrational to the truth. Even when facts from the Bible are presented to him he insists on clinging to that which is taught at his church group. Why can't he repent? Why does he continue to hold to a lie? The answer to this is in II Thessalonians 2. These people were once enlightened to the truth from God but then "fell away" and chose to go with another doctrine which was opposite to doctrines of Christ in the Bible. In such cases we see the following: II Thessalonians 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. When God sends that person "a strong delusion" there is nothing we can do to make that person understand even when we present many godly exhortations, for that person has been deluded by God. We just have to walk away and leave him alone. Acts 28 24 And some believed the things which were spoken, and some believed not. 25 And when they agreed not among themselves, they departed, after that Paul had spoken one word, Well spake the Holy Ghost by Esaias the prophet unto our fathers, 26 Saying, Go unto this people, and say, Hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and not perceive: 27 For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. ***** Even when all of the plagues of the great tribulation come to this earth, none of the wicked will understand but the wise will understand. John 8 Jesus says: 43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. 44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. John 12 37 But though HE had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on Him: 38 That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed? 39 Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again, 40 HE (God) hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them. God turns them over to "a reprobate mind" because they refuse to keep the "knowledge of the truth of God" before their minds. Romans 1 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. *** They would not continue with truth from God, so God gave them over to believe a lie that they could not repent and be saved. Even when the plagues came, and it was obvious only God could bring those plagues, they blasphemed God instead of falling down before God in repentance. God had turned them over to "a strong delusion" to believe a lie that they all might be damned who rejected the truth from God and clung to lies.

THE GREAT DELUSION: HOW GOD'S JUDGMENT SEPARATES THE FAITHFUL FROM THOSE ENSNARED BY REBELLIOUS POWERS Water and Spirit Digest - Special Cosmic Warfare Edition ). The Strong Delusion as Divine Strategy This brings us back to Paul's warning about the "strong delusion." Like the lying spirit sent to Ahab, this delusion serves God's purposes in the ongoing cosmic conflict. Those who "did not receive the love of the truth" are given over to the lies they prefer. The man of lawlessness—whether a single antichrist figure or a system of rebellion against God—operates with "all power, signs, and lying wonders" (2 Thessalonians 2:9). These are not mere tricks but genuine supernatural manifestations empowered by the same rebellious divine beings who have opposed God since Eden. The delusion separates those who love truth from those who love lies. It reveals hearts and exposes allegiances in the cosmic war. Those who have rejected God's truth are permitted to follow deception to its logical conclusion—judgment. The Church as God's Cosmic Weapon In this grand narrative, the church stands as God's strategic revelation to the powers. Through us, "the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 3:10). We are the general assembly on Mount Zion, the "church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven" (Hebrews 12:23). Our very existence declares God's victory over rebellious powers. Our worship dismantles strongholds. Our truth-speaking counters the "strong delusion" that ensnares those who reject God. When we stand firm against deception, we participate in the cosmic victory Christ has already secured. We become living testimonies that God's judgment by water and rebirth by His Spirit overcomes all rebellious powers. Living in Light of Cosmic Truth The "strong delusion" of 2 Thessalonians 2:11 is not merely an isolated end-times prophecy. It is part of God's consistent pattern of dealing with rebellion throughout cosmic history. From Eden to Babel, from Noah's flood to Christ's baptism, from ancient divine rebels to modern spiritual warfare—God has always used truth as His weapon and delusion as His judgment. For those who love truth, there is protection even in times of great deception. For those who prefer comfortable lies, there is the terrible freedom to believe them—and face their consequences. As we navigate a world increasingly given to delusion, let us remember that we stand in a cosmic story larger than ourselves. The waters of judgment have been transformed into waters of baptism. The Spirit that hovered over creation now indwells believers. The divine council of rebels has been replaced by the assembly of the redeemed. And one day, all delusion will be swept away when Christ returns to complete His victory and establish His kingdom in fullness. Until then, we stand as witnesses to truth in a world that prefers lies. We proclaim freedom to those ensnared by delusion.
