Where Would I Be" puts into words what Bruce feels God has by His providence, spoken to his spirit. This song had the right approach that agrees with the tenor and atmosphere of what he has gone through over the years. Bruce takes these heart touching words, puts his smooth jazz progressions under them which turns this song into an ear soothing, thought moving melody of provocation and inspiration. Already a beautiful song written by the hands of Smokie Norful, Bruce features the vocal prowess of Kristian Thomas, the daughter of Bishop Leofric & Lady Thomas. Kristian's voice invites you into God's throne room and reminds you God has "better" on His mind for you no matter what you've done or who you are! And look out for the piano interlude, it's just enough to float you through to glory! sure "Where Would I Be" will quickly become one of your favorites!

Two Words – Jann Arden Long time friend. A completely singular artist. In concert she'll have you laughing so hard it will be through tears. Then she sings – man does she sing – and you'll find yourself freely flowing more tears. I have been blessed to have had a close-up focus on this life and career. For over 35 years Jann and I have crossed paths and occasionally stopped to talk with a microphone between us. While I was busy telling music and film stories Jann was nominated for 19 Junos – Winning 8. Won MuchMusic awards and now is on Canada's Walk of Fame. She's been acting, hosting, judging, recording, and touring with her small group and with orchestras large and small. Basically, with the support and guidance of manager Bruce Allen, Jann Arden has become a Canadian Super Star. These two interviews are from our archives. The first is from April 2016 – at the Junos in Calgary where she was co-hosting. I attended a press conference and she was completely surrounded by the media ..so I went off to the corner and found the only two chairs in the room, with a small table. I set up my field recorder and waited. When she was done, Bruce walked Jann over and we had a chat. Here's the exchange of ideas and thoughts. [caption id="attachment_26146" align="alignnone" width="645"] Juno Interview-Terry David Mulligan, Corey Wood, and Jann Arden[/caption] The second interview is from Dec 2017...Jann's on tour and I wanted to talk to her about her book Feeding My Mother: Comfort and laughter in the kitchen as my Mom lives with memory loss. She and her Mom were best friends and a force. This interview has stayed with me for the last 5 years. Heartbreaking and revealing, Thank You Jann.
Welcome to THE Sports Law Podcast where we keep you up to date on everything at the intersection of sports and the law. Dan Lust and Tarun dive into the latest in sports law. The House Oversight Committee report was released about Dan Snyder and his involvement in the toxic work environment with the Washington Commanders. (3:22) The Conduct Detrimental report found that Snyder was heavily involved and encouraged the toxic nature of the Commanders. A key piece of the report was that Bruce Allen alleged that the Commanders leaked the Jon Gruden emails, which Pat McAfee gave our very own Dan Lust a shoutout for pointing out. Mississippi State coach Mike Leach tragically passed away this past week. (19:25) Leach was the former coach with Texas Tech and was fired in 2009 after accusations that he had mistreated an athlete who complained of having a concussion. Leach filed a wrongful termination against Texas Tech which was dismissed but Wayne Dolcefino has been continuing a lawsuit against Texas Tech for Title IX violations. Sean Miller has been under investigation for the past four years for multiple NCAA violations. (30:08) This week a report came out that Miller and Arizona would not be punished and avoids penalties. Texas basketball coach Chris Beard is currently suspended after allegations of assault. (43:23) Beard was arrested following allegations that he assaulted his fiancé. The first female high school football athlete has an NIL deal in California. (40:39) Dan and Conlan are back with the betting segment sponsored by Bettor Edge. Standig Room Only: A show about the Washington Football Team and D.C. sports
The Athletic's Ben Standig digs into the Oversight Committee's report and talks about a myriad of current Commanders topics with 106.7's Grant Paulsen. They discussed the report's overall findings. Nuggets in the testimony of Dan Snyder and Bruce Allen, including the Trent Williams saga, who pushed for Carson Wentz and the use of private investigators. They also pondered the Taylor Heinicke-Carson Wentz debate through the prism of... Baker Mayfield?
“As a woman, what is my place in these days?” Philip and Sharon are joined by a dear friend, Reshma Allen, whose powerful testimony is used by God to minister to the hearts of women throughout the nations. Reshma grew up in Indian culture in Fiji where being a woman and having a darker skin color was looked upon with shame, even in the Church! She saw at a young age that the way Jesus treated women and children in the scriptures was very different from how women were treated in her culture. Now she encourages women to rise up into their God-given destinies and take their place as mothers, intercessors, prophetesses, and worshippers to show God's heart to His hurting children and travail with the birth pains of the Earth to usher in His purposes in these last days. They discuss: Breakthrough comes when you share your testimony with others. Father God needs nurturing mothers to show his heart to His children, helping to grow people up in the Spirit. God raised up women all throughout the bible in times of crisis. Women make powerful intercessors because they understand childbirth. It's time to travail in prayer! Get intimate with the Lord and ask Him for a word: “What is my place in these days?” Anytime God was about to birth something new in the Bible, there was an attack on the children. Our children are being attacked right now, so what is God about to do? Greater revelation is coming to enable women to work side-by-side and not be threatened by each other's gifts Reshma shares her testimony of healing from shame about being a darker-skinned woman and how God saved her miraculously from multiple abortion attempts when she was in the womb. You were made in the image of God! Are you telling God He made something in His image that's unworthy or isn't good enough? How to become less self-conscious and more God-conscious Gender confusion is rooted in the same question the enemy asked Eve in the garden - “Did God really say…?” Know the truth! It's time to get back in the Word so you can know God's truth about you and about the world. Even if your voice is silenced on Earth, you have a voice that speaks louder in the heavenlies. Attorney and sports law expert Daniel Wallach lays out the NFL case against Daniel Snyder and how Washington gets new ownership
On this weeks episode of Funky Friday, Cam Newton sits down with NFL Journalist, Adam Schefter. The two talk candidly about their first meeting and how important the role of journalist is to sports. Schefter joined the NFL Network in 2004 and appeared on NFL Total Access and also wrote for NFL.com. Before joining the NFL Network, Schefter appeared five times on ESPN's Around the Horn as a substitute for Woody Paige. Paige was based in Denver at the time. Before Around the Horn, Schefter appeared on ESPN's The Sports Reporters. Schefter appeared on NBC twice in the summer of 2008, working as the sideline reporter for Al Michaels and John Madden during the Redskins–Colts Pro Football Hall of Fame Game and then the Redskins–Jaguars preseason finale. According to a USA Today survey of fans published January 19, 2009, "NFL Network's Adam Schefter edged ESPN's Chris Mortensen (34%–32%) for best (NFL) insider despite the NFL Network being in less than half as many U.S. households." Schefter was again selected as the best (NFL) insider in a November 2010 USA Today fan poll.[4] Schefter was voted USA Today's best "insider" for a third straight year in November 2011. In 2009, Schefter became a football analyst with ESPN.[5] Pierre-Paul sued Schefter and ESPN for breach of privacy in February of 2016.[10] In February of 2017, Pierre-Paul and ESPN settled the lawsuit In November 2015, Schefter was named The Cynopsis Sports Media Personality of the Year, which is presented annually to an individual whose work in the sports industry has transcended how sports connect with fans. In the same year, he was named honorable mention for Sports Illustrated Now's 2015 Media Person of the Year,[12] and 2015 Sports Media Personality of the Year by the Tampa Bay Times. In January 2017, Schefter accepted an unpaid position on the advisory board of the Pacific Pro Football League.[14] Soon afterward, he stepped down to avoid any perception of a conflict of interest.[15] Schefter joined the NBA on ESPN team for multiple games as a sideline reporter in 2017. His first assignment was February 15 between the New York Knicks and the Oklahoma City Thunder. ESPN presented Schefter with the opportunity to work select NBA games as part of his new contract. In February 2017, ESPN Audio launched Schefter's "Know Them From Adam"[17] podcast, featuring long-form conversations with newsmakers who have a connection to football. He is also an annual "NFL Combine Football Career Conference" speaker for the online sports-career training school Sports Management Worldwide, founded and run by Dr. Lynn Lashbrook.[18] In June 2021, an email Schefter sent to Bruce Allen (then the general manager of the Washington Redskins) was filed as an exhibit in federal court as part of a defamation suit by Washington Football Team owner Daniel Snyder against an Indian media company. The message included a draft of an unpublished article about the 2011 NFL lockout which Schefter asked Allen to review and suggest changes to, and referred to Allen as "Mr. Editor".[20] In response, Schefter stated that checking information with sources is a widespread practice.[21] However, according to Joe Rivera of Sporting News, allowing a source to review an entire piece is a significant breach of journalistic ethics.[22] Schefter's actions were also criticized by writer and former ESPN host Jemele Hill. Later, Schefter issued a statement through ESPN which stated that while he did not give editorial control over the story to Allen, sending it to him had been a mistake.[23] In 2022, Schefter was criticized for his initial report on Twitter about Dwayne Haskins' death, which many found to be insensitive as it mentioned his struggles in the NFL. Schefter later deleted the tweet and replaced it with a video tribute, as well as issuing an apology. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
