I'm very excited to share with you this mega-ultra-awesome flamenco/Spanish guitar scale in E minor, which is so intense that it will give you HULK HANDS after you've mastered it! What's this scale called? Well, I call it the “Escala de Gerardo” (Gerardo's Scale), because I always heard that it was written by Gerardo Núñez; it may or may not have been written by him, but I think it sounds like his style. Anyhow, follow this lesson along closely. Watch it as many times as you need in order to get this scale in your flamenco guitar toolbox PRONTO! Once you've gotten to the point where you can do this exercise at 120 beats per minute, you'll be a bonafide flamenco guitar beast! …And you will have learned your way through the Aeolian scale like a pro! Lou Ferrigno is a fitness icon, motivational speaker and Co- Founder of Ferrigno FIT. As an infant, Lou suffered a series of ear infections and lost 80% of his hearing (though his condition was not diagnosed until he was three years old). This circumstance led to bullying both in school and at home. Lost and unhappy, Lou turned to larger-than-life figures like actor/bodybuilder Steve Reeves and Marvel's The Incredible Hulk for inspiration. Undeterred by what some may have perceived as a disadvantage, Lou threw himself into athletics at age 13 (predominantly weightlifting and bodybuilding). By age 21, Lou won his first major titles: Mr. America and Mr. Universe. At 22, he came in second at his first attempt at the Mr. Olympia title. His second attempt at the title was documented the following year in the film Pumping Iron. The release of this film helped gain the attention of television producer Kenneth Johnson (Six Million Dollar Man, The Bionic Woman), who was seeking the right person to portray the larger-than-life comic book superhero, The Incredible Hulk. With his 6 ft 5 in, 285 lb. frame, Lou was the biggest professional bodybuilder at the time and was cast. He would go on to be featured in CBS' King of Queens, DreamWorks' I Love You, Man and NBC's Celebrity Apprentice.

The Outsiders is a 1983 American coming-of-age drama film directed by Francis Ford Coppola, an adaptation of the 1967 novel of the same name by S. E. Hinton. The film was released on March 25, 1983. Jo Ellen Misakian, a librarian at Lone Star Elementary School in Fresno, California, and her students were responsible for inspiring Coppola to make the film.[2] The film is noted for its cast of up-and-coming stars, including C. Thomas Howell (who garnered a Young Artist Award), Rob Lowe, Emilio Estevez, Matt Dillon, Tom Cruise, Patrick Swayze, Ralph Macchio, and Diane Lane. The film helped spark the Brat Pack genre of the 1980s. Both Lane and Dillon went on to appear in Coppola's related film Rumble Fish; Dillon and Estevez also starred in Tex (1982). Emilio Estevez went on to write and star in That Was Then... This Is Now (1985), the only S. E. Hinton film adaptation not to star Matt Dillon. The film received mostly positive reviews from critics, most notably the performances, particularly Macchio being singled out for praise, and performed well at the box office, grossing $33.7 million on a $10.0 million budget. I may be away on holiday this week, but that hasn't stopped me working to bring you a special Geektown Radio podcast, featuring the brilliant actor, Peter Mensah, talking about his new show 'Midnight, Texas'. Peter has been a familiar face on TV and film for a number of years. His impressive list of film credits include 'The Incredible Hulk', '300' and 'Avatar', but he has also featured in some stand out TV performances. On 'Spartacus' he played Doctore/Oenomaus, he appeared in 'True Blood' as Kibwe, and most recently starred in 'Sleepy Hollow' as The Hidden One. Now he returns to our screens in 'Midnight, Texas', which airs on Syfy UK from Thursday, 27th July 2017 at 9pm. Based on the novel series by True Blood's Charlaine Harris, 'Midnight, Texas' stars François Arnaud ('The Borgias') as Manfred, a charming, powerful psychic who can communicate with spirits and finds safety in the small town of Midnight, Texas. There he finds himself surrounding with both human and supernatural allies, who band together to fight off outside pressures from ever-suspicious cops, deadly biker gangs, and their own dangerous pasts. Peter plays the role of Lemuel, a wise vampire with a long history in the town.
