Today on The Real Life Show: Living with a Chronic Illness, we talk with Tessa who has a very rare condition where she is allergic to water; both internally and externally. Tessa has Aquagenic Urticaria. She explains that she was most likely born with it, but didn't start noticing symptoms until 14 years ago; at the age of 9. Tessa goes on to detail her journey to eventually finding out she's allergic to water through a lot of trial and error. She chronicles the struggles of having to re-test and prove to every new doctor that she does in fact have this extremely rare condition. And then Tessa explains how even the smallest day-to-day activities can be such painful triggers. We first connected with Tessa on her Instagram, and are so grateful she is on our podcast to share her unique journey with us.Tessa's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/livingwaterless/?hl=enSocial Media:https://www.instagram.com/therealspooniesunite/https://www.facebook.com/groups/2443751542368935Our Book “Empowered Self Care”: https://amzn.to/2Q2bUxqMyWellnessHub: https://my-wellness-hub.mn.co/Merch: https://teespring.com/stores/the-real-spoonies-uniteEmail: hello@TheRealSpooniesUnite.comSupport the show (https://my-wellness-hub.mn.co/)
