He took the gold medal in the 2020 Youth Olympic Games in Lausanne, Switzerland, and beat the elite in the sport by winning Slopestyle at the U.S. Grand Prix at Mammoth Mountain. His double X Games gold at age 17 made Henricksen the first American to win Slopestyle since Shaun White in 2009. In 2022, Henricksen represented the United States at the Beijing Winter Olympics.
