To say Cam has lived life on the edge would be an understatement. He is a true definition of a daredevil.  Cam shared with us where it all began when he was head hunted by the Crusty Demons alongside best mate Blake 'Bilko' Williams. And of course some of the mischief they got up to.  He took us behind the scenes to what it is like touring, performing and partying around the world with Travis Pastrana and the Nitro Circus team and the story of them getting their own MTV Show.  But the story that took our breath away was one of true resilience and something that is almost impossible to believe. The story of becoming an X Games Gold Medalist only a year after almost losing his life attempting the double backflip. Only two other men had achieved it at that time and the crash resulted in Cam spending 7 days in a coma in Madrid. But the comeback story is one of true bravery and reward.  He talked about the pressure to continuously wow the crowd with something they haven't seen before and the risks associated with this. And the difficulty to create something that hasn't been seen before due to social media saturation. Cam even explained why he thinks it mat be too late to become a freestyle motocross performer.  Plus find out Cam's life off the bike, his crazy schedule and his love for family. So hold on tight and get ready to be entertained by this amazing interview with the one and only, Cam Sinclair.    Follow Cam on Instagram @camsincs Follow Cam on Facebook - Cam (sincs) Sinclair | Facebook   Follow us on Instagram - @dosandd_  Follow us on TikTok - @dosandd Email us your questions as we would love to answer them on the show - thedosanddshow@gmail.com  It would mean the world to both of us if you could please leave a 5 star review to help us grow this community and empower more lives.

From Dog-Town to the X-Games Kristos was inspired by big risk takers like Jamie Thomas “Leap Of Faith” and Jereme Rogers, giving rise to viewing the rogue “street skater” as an athlete meets Rock Star icon — it's “rebel culture by nature.” Skateboarding is an art and your skateboard is your brush — push limits, take fears as a challenge…“enjoy the process of failing forward.” Kristos is well known for the character Pete Garrett on The Bay. Kristos is still hungry and passionate about the next part of the journey — “You've got to think ahead and when you can—take that leap of faith.” Watch The Bay on Amazon Prime: https://www.amazon.com/The-Bay-Season-1/dp/B07Z9T13J4 STRIKE A CHORD Miami Indie-alternative Rock Band Cannibal Kids lead singer/songwriter Damian Gutierrez joins STRIKE A CHORD to discuss their latest hit track Jeans. So, why the band's name Cannibal Kids? Living in the city we all become “Urban Explorers.” Cannibal Kids explored an abandoned, scary as hell place while just a little high—“we were in a place we shouldn't have been.” There's been a crime! Call Miami Vice! Their latest track Jeans opens with the lyrics “Maybe it's time that I open up a pair of jeans just to say what's up!” Opening your jeans for love can be scary. But don't worry! The track Falling in Love at Wii Sports Resort has a great synth pop beat. According to the Cannibal Kids — “the future is digital, fall in love with a computer—BUT only if you have a high speed fiber internet—OR the Love Connection will be disconnected. This pandemic has got us anxious and questioning our sanity at the same time. Cannibal Kids Go Outside is the perfect track to describe how we're all feeling right now. Support. Follow. https://talkingsobriety.wpcomstaging.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/mike-.mp3 We had a good talk with freestyle motocrosser Josh Wilson on all his injuries then getting addicted to pain pills and overcoming them on his own. Really proud of him for putting the work in and pulling it getting his life back and feeling better then ever without any medications. We also check in with our almost weekly guest Caleb Wyatt and how he just hit 90 days clean and sober, sounding better every time we talk to him. Cant believe how we talked to him a little over three months back when he was literally at rock bottom. To see the transformation on him getting his life back with sobriety makes this all worth it.

In this episode, Dr. Greg Lane interviewed Joanie Anderson, former X games gold medalist in snowboarding. Joanie grew up home-schooled in a large family in South Lake Tahoe. Her classroom was the mountains, so Joanie and her sisters naturally became competitive snowboarders. Joanie was eleven when she won her first national championship and continued to win nationals for many years following. When she was 16, Joanie was invited to join the U.S. Junior National Team. She won her first Junior World title in New Zealand in 2002, and the following year in Germany. At 17, she competed in her first X Games- competing in both boardercross and halfpipe. Joanie competed in X Games for eight consecutive years, winning a silver medal in 2006, gold in 2007, and bronze in 2010 in boardercross. At the 2009 Olympic test event in Vancouver, she dislocated her hip during a time trial run. That event began her phasing out of competitive snowboarding and into her next adventure as a student of Chinese Medicine at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. Dr. Lane and Ms. Anderson talked about Joanie’s experience with diet, exercise, yoga, and other methods she relied on to become a champion.
