Cea de-a 13-a ediție a Jazz in the Park Festival deschide sezonul marilor evenimente din România cu un line-up divers, ce include artiști de renume internațional. Locația rămâne aceeași, idilică și plină de autenticitate: parcul Etnografic ”Romulus Vuia” din Cluj-Napoca. Ne spune mai multe despre ediția 2025, invitații emisiunii RFI360, Alin Vaida și Alex Manda. Jazz in the Park Festival aduce în 2025 în România, un line-up divers: Ibrahim Maalouf, Kokoroko, Biréli Lagrène, Seun Kuti & Fela's Egypt 80, Alabaster DePlume, Mammal Hands, Transylvania Jazz Orchestra, Berti Barbera & Sebastian Burneci Quintet, Sorvina, Amphitrio, jazzbois și New Fossils. Festivalul își schimbă data în calendarul de evenimente și va fi organizat la începutul verii, în 6-8 iunie 2025.Jazz in the Park este a daytime festival - începând cu această ediție, festivalul își propune să nu fie unul la care participanții să vină doar seara, ci să aibe activități încă de la primele ore ale zilei. Melodia lor „Abusey Junction,” lansată pe un EP în 2018, a devenit un hit viral, cu peste 50 de milioane de vizualizări pe YouTube.Biréli Lagrène (Franța) – Virtuoz al chitarei și ambasador al gypsy jazzului, cu influențe puternice din stilul lui Django Reinhardt. Albumul său „Gipsy Project” rămâne un reper în jazzul manouche.Alabaster DePlume (Anglia) – Saxofonist, poet și activist, cunoscut pentru combinația sa de jazz, spoken word și improvizație. Muzica lui este profund introspectivă și evocatoare.Mammal Hands (Anglia) – Trio britanic care îmbină jazzul cu influențe de muzică clasică, electronică și minimalism. Stilul lor cinematic și melancolic le-a adus recunoaștere internațională.Sorvina (Germania) - este o artistă născută în New York și stabilită în Berlin, cunoscută pentru pasiunea sa contagioasă pentru storytelling. Muzica ei îmbină elemente de jazz rap, neo-soul, hip-hop alternativ și gospel, având la bază instrumente live și performanțe autentice.Seun Kuti & Fela's Egypt 80 (Nigeria) – Fiul legendarului Fela Kuti continuă tradiția Afrobeatului alături de trupa tatălui său, Egypt 80. Piesele lor sunt un mix energic de jazz, funk și ritmuri africane.New Fossils (Ungaria) – Cvintet de jazz experimental, cunoscut pentru muzica lor cinematică și lansarea propriului label independent, Morotva Records.jazzbois (Ungaria) – Trio de jazz-hip-hop, remarcabil pentru improvizațiile psihedelice și combinațiile neașteptate de jazz și beat-uri urbane.Amphitrio (România) – Proiect de jazz contemporan cu influențe nordice și balcanice, format din muzicieni cu experiență în muzica clasică și alternativă.Jazz in the Park creează un spațiu accesibil pentru toată lumea – de la familii și copii, până la pasionați de muzică și exploratori urbani. Pe lângă muzică pe tot parcursul programului, festivalul propune multe activități care sunt mai faine pe timp de zi: demonstrații culinare, talk-uri, restaurante tematice, târguri de creatori și muzică, multe ateliere de instrumente. Serile însă vor fi animate de degustări de vin, ateliere de cocktailuri și de concertele cele mai mari. Sigur, va fi timp și de jam session-uri și discuții de miez de noapte. Primii sosiți în fiecare zi vor avea parte de surprize la poartă.​​Jazz in the Park este un festival manifest care combină muzica bună cu promovarea de valori pozitive în comunitate. Festivalul a găzduit până acum peste 500 de concerte de jazz cu artiști internaționali și este astăzi unul dintre cele mai importante festivaluri europene de gen. În 2019, Jazz in the Park a câștigat trofeul categoriei „Best Small European Festival”, la cea de-a XI-a ediție a prestigioasei competiții European Festival Awards. A devenit, astfel, primul festival de jazz din Europa (și implicit din România) care a obținut o distincție la acest eveniment. Copiii cu vârsta de până la 12 ani au intrare liberă, însoțiți de un adult posesor de abonament sau bilet. Can a simple Uber ride turn into a life-changing moment? Join me, Tosha Williams, as I recount an unexpected divine encounter I experienced during my very first Uber journey, where I met Dumasani, a driver whose name means "Praise the Lord." This serendipitous meeting was an answer to my prayers regarding this year's Family Disciple Me Thanksgiving conversations. God often works through everyday moments to affirm our faith journeys, and this year, He used this Uber ride to affirm the FDM gratitude series for me. My new friend Dumasani's meaningful, Zimbabwean name confirmed my desire to use some other really special names - like Jubilee, Psalm, Zion and Melodia - as welcomes into praise this Thanksgiving season. We'll explore these "Ways to Praise" in upcoming podcast episodes, but we'll start here with Dumisani:  Praise the Lord! Spend a few moment with me as I share this introduction, then listen to what God's Spirit wants to say to you directly through His Word. *******************“Hallelujah! My soul, praise the LORD. I will praise the LORD all my life; I will sing to my God as long as I live.” Psalm 146:1-2 CSBSEEK HIM: Devotion is Meeting with God in Our Own Lives! While praise may seem obvious at Thanksgiving, let's look at it from some slightly different angles this month, starting with these first couple verses in Psalm 146. Seek the Lord about what He wants to say to you about praise and thanksgiving!WHAT:  What is God saying through this Scripture? This psalm which models intentional praise and thankfulness. Praise flowed from the author's innermost being, and this person pledged to praise, not just for a day or holiday, but for all life long. ~ Do you praise God from your very core; why or why not? How long have you praised Him? What are some of the things this psalmist praised God for in Psalm 146? WHY:  Why does this Scripture matter? Praise changes the focus of our hearts, gets our eyes off ourselves and sets our attention on the One who can help us. Praise will change our hearts from bitter to better, from hopeless to happy, from grumbling to grateful. ~ Are you more grumbling or grateful? Do you need any heart change this Thanksgiving season? HOW: How does God want us to respond to this truth? Psalm 146 is a testimony of how one person praised the Lord and why they praised Him. Godly praise calls forth godly praise, and we're going to talk about ways to praise in the coming days. ~ How is God asking you to respond right now?SPEAK HIM: Discipleship is Making God Known to Others! Thanksgiving season is a great time to welcome others into praising God with us! Psalm 34:3 says, “Oh magnify the LORD with me. Let us exalt his name together.” Who can you say this to? Kelly, a shareholder at Walkup, Melodia, Kelly & Schoenberger and recent Trial Lawyer Hall of Fame inductee, shares how he secured justice for the first of thousands of victims of a defectively designed medical device. On December 5, 2007, U.S. Air Force veteran Loren "Bill" Kransky underwent hip surgery in Montana, receiving a DePuy ASR Acetabular Hip System orthopedic implant. DePuy, a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson, first put the ASR Acetabular Hip System on the market in Europe in 2004, and soon after began receiving notifications from prominent surgeons that the device was flawed. Despite receiving these notifications, DePuy continued to market the metal implant as a low-wear product that required only one surgery and failed to report product issues to American doctors. On August 4, 2010, a recall was issued and the Depuy ASR Acetabular Hip System was labeled as defective, but the damage was already done for millions of patients, including Loren. Following the recall, Loren underwent revision surgery to have the implant removed because it was shedding metal debris into the tissue of his hip and bloodstream. In March 2013, a Los Angeles jury returned a verdict in favor of Loren, awarding $8,338,136.12 in damages for the pain caused by the defective design and ultimately helping to facilitate a $2.5 billion national settlement for all victims.  Click Here to Read/Download Trial Documents   Guest Bio: Michael A. Kelly Mike Kelly is one of the nation's top personal injury attorneys. His $8.35 million verdict on behalf of a construction worker who lost an arm showed his skill in work-site injury cases. His $23.2 million jury verdict in a birth injury medical malpractice case in Minnesota ranks among that state's largest verdicts for obstetrical injury. How do you know if you're just tired or if you're burned out? You know you're in burnout if you just can't bounce back. That's what happened to Stephanie Melodia who, as a super achiever, kept getting signs from her body but could not slow down.
