Hannah kam zu mir, weil sie völlig verunsichert war, was beim Thema Ernährung eigentlich richtig oder falsch ist und gleichzeitig kaum noch Verbindung zu ihrem eigenen Körper hatte. Auch beim Sport war viel Druck da, weil immer die Erwartung bestand, dass sich optisch etwas verändern muss. Im Coaching haben wir angefangen, ihr Essverhalten zu stabilisieren, wieder eine Verbindung zu ihrem Körper aufzubauen und Bewegung neu zu entdecken. Gleichzeitig hat Hannah erkannt, wie stark der Glaubenssatz sie geprägt hat, nur dann wertvoll zu sein, wenn sie leistet und für andere funktioniert. Heute ernährt sich Hannah intuitiv, bewegt sich aus Freude statt aus Druck und kann ihre Grenzen klarer kommunizieren. Vom gesundheitlichen Tief zum Finish: Hannahs ehrlicher Weg zurück zum Marathon.

I am a fourth-generation Christian born and raised in Pakistan by my prayer warrior mother whose unwavering faith was an inspiration, motivation, footstep to me and my six siblings.  After facing persecution and an increasingly dangerous political climate, she encouraged us to leave the country any way we could.  So I worked hard to obtain an MBA degree and with God's guidance, secured a job in Dubai where I met and married my husband, Ratnam and had a daughter named Angelica.  God then opened a door so that we could emigrate to Canada where we live today. Though I have been hearing from God in dreams since the age of nine, it was not until after I lost my beloved mother and after I arrived in Canada that I rededicated my life to God and received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit on 11 September 2011. From that day till today I spend many hours a day in prayer to God and receive many dreams and visions from Him.  As a result, I am able to be a blessing to others by praying for them at the right time when they might not even be aware that they need prayer.  I have also received miraculous healings from my own major health problems and for my family as well. In this episode of Sober Stories from Everyday People we explore the story of Hannah in Australia. Originally from Leicester, UK, Hannah runs 3 businesses and lives with her 4 children and Husband. Hannah is 268 days sober at the time of this recording. Hannah talks about starting her family young and receiving an early cancer diagnosis. Hannahs relationship with alcohol slowly crept up over the years eventually resulting in blackouts and sober curiosity. Hannah tried 90 days sober and then went back to trying to moderate, before quitting completely in November 2023. Hannah is a complete inspiration and so relatable. I hope you enjoy the episode! Corey Hannahs is a Senior Electrical Content Specialist at the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). In his current role, he serves as an electrical subject matter expert in the development of products and services that support NFPA documents and stakeholders. Corey is a third‐generation electrician, holding licenses as a master electrician, contractor, inspector, and plan reviewer in the state of Michigan. Having held roles as an installer, owner, and executive previously, he has also provided electrical apprenticeship instruction for over 15 years. Corey was twice appointed to the State of Michigan's Electrical Administrative Board by former Governor Rick Snyder, and he received United States Special Congressional Recognition for founding the B.O.P.
