“I think race is a very emotional issue with black America, and it can be very easily manipulated. And it has been manipulated for decades by people who use it to direct blacks to vote in a certain way.”In this latest episode in our special series on the U.S. presidential transition, I sit down with Bob Woodson and Joshua Mitchell. Woodson is a civil rights activist and the Founder and President of the Woodson Center. Mitchell is a professor of political theory at Georgetown University.“The partisan debate on race is driven by guilty whites who are seeking absolution from crimes they never committed, and entitled blacks who are seeking absolution from injustices they never suffered,” says Woodson. What does Trump's victory mean for black America? Will Trump be the first post-racial president? And what is the role of mediating institutions and what Woodson and Mitchell call “invisible knowledge” in revitalizing American communities?“We have levels of despair and depression because the state has become this administrative behemoth, making citizen competence impossible,” says Mitchell. “We've got this invitation, literally, to return to the founders' vision, where we have citizen competence. The only way you can have small government is if you have massive citizen competence.”“The biggest challenge we're facing is a moral and spiritual free-fall that is consuming people of all races and all colors,” says Woodson. “But we're not going to be able to find the source of this solution if we are separated by race, and that's why we must become post-racial.”Views expressed in this video are opinions of the host and the guest, and do not necessarily reflect the views of The Epoch Times.

This hour we look at how crime and poverty can truly be solved in this country. Bob Woodson knows from decades of experience that "mediating institutions" -- churches, charities, neighborhood groups -- are the closest to the problems of local poverty and crime, and thus yield the best solutions. Then Ed Cannon, from FEBC, will tell us how Christians are persevering under the heavy boot of Communism in China. Some universities are repealing and replacing their diversity, equity, and inclusion policies. At the end of May, the University of North Carolina system voted to repeal and replace its DEI policy for a new policy that “aims to ensure efforts to support students on UNC System campuses do not infringe on academic freedom, equal opportunity, or institutional neutrality,” according to the university. In Utah, the state recently passed legislation to halt all DEI activities in the state's universities. Conservatives have long raised concerns over the harmful implications of DEI programs, which Bob Woodson argues are “institutionalizing racism in the name of addressing social injustice.”Woodson, founder of the Woodson Center and author of “Red, White, and Black: Rescuing American History from Revisionists and Race Hustlers,” says “it's insulting to black America to assume that social justice can only be achieved by changing the rules, dumbing down standards, and compromising the basic integrity. The national tragedy of more drug overdose deaths, suicides, and homicides won't be solved “if we have to look at each other through the prism of race,” activist Bob Woodson says.“There are people who are profiting from the grievance of our society, and we must challenge these racial profiteers,” says Woodson, an author and founder of the Washington-based Woodson Center. Some “try to promote” the racial challenges in America, Woodson says, citing two examples.“Black Lives Matter ... comes along and collects $100 million in white guilt money," he says. "Ibram X. Kendi at Boston University collects $48 million to do anti-racist research.” In Woodson's view, "race has been a distraction” to addressing the real problems confronting poor communities.Since the 1980s, Woodson, who is black, has worked to address issues plaguing poor communities across the country. As a young man, he was part of the civil rights movement. But, finding himself in disagreement with some aspects of the movement, Woodson says he “began to work on behalf of low-income people of all races.” Now, at 86, Woodson says, The Woodson Center gives a voice "to the voiceless grassroots leaders who are laboring in these communities confronting drugs and violence and out-of-wedlock births.” Woodson joins “The Daily Signal Podcast” to expose the harmful effects of a focus on race on black communities and to explain how the strategy of The Woodson Center transforms lives and entire neighborhoods. Bob Woodson is Founder and President of the Woodson Center and 1776 Unites. He is an influential leader on issues of poverty alleviation and empowering disadvantaged communities to become agents of their own uplift. Woodson is a frequent advisor to local, state and federal government officials as well as business and philanthropic organizations. His social activism dates back to the 1960s, when as a young civil rights activist he developed and coordinated national and local community revitalization programs. During the 1970's he directed the National Urban League's Administration of Justice division. Later he served as a Resident Fellow at the American Enterprise Institute. Currently he is the Founder and President of The Woodson Center where he's on a mission to help residents of low-income neighborhoods address the problems of their communities. Bob joins me today to discuss his approach to dealing with race relations in America and what he believes is a huge problem; the disconnection between work and income, in underserved communities. “People are inspired to change and improve and cooperate when you can show them examples of victories that are possible, not always reminding them of injuries to be avoided.” - Bob Woodson One of the most powerful metaphors about that makes a difference is that to some on the left, Hank Aaron was the strikeout king. But to some of us who look at the glass as being half full, he was the home run king. It depends upon what your perspective is. - Bob Woodson “You should always look for antibodies. Even in the worst communities, there are healthy elements that I call community antibodies. If you say that 70% of the people in that community are raising children that are dysfunctional, it means 30% or not. You can learn nothing from studying failure except how to create failure.” - Bob Woodson This week on The Wow Factor: How Bob's upbringing inspired him to work in Civil Rights The breakdown of the traditional American Family Why you can't define Black America by slavery The importance of looking for the solution to every problem Why you can't judge people by their past When you give freely, don't give with the expectation that you will be thanked Why you must stay faithful to what you do and not be so attached to the outcome of what you're doing Why America is a country of redemption Bob Woodsons Words of Wisdom: When you give freely, don't give with the expectation that you're going to be thanked. Bob Woodson's heart is to see impoverished inner city black communities discipled. He has dedicated his entire life, from his first experiences growing up during Jim Crow to leading civil rights marches in the '60s to today serving black America to "empower community-based leaders to promote solutions that reduce crime and violence, restore families, revitalize underserved communities, and assist in the creation of economic enterprise" (Woodson Center, Mission). Woodson is a man we can all learn from. He often tells stories of resilient black Americans who rose above their circumstances to love and serve their neighbors. However, as you listen to this episode, you'll hear how his own testimony is marked by resiliency. Born during the Depression into a single-parent household, Woodson has gone on to advise presidents, build businesses, counsel leaders in academics, media, politics, and recently millions on the Dr. Phil show. What Are They Hiding?—Dr. Robert Malone on the Pfizer Documents and the Rise in All-Cause Mortality. “They knew of many of these risks and adverse events… and yet never formally disclosed them to patients,” says mRNA vaccine pioneer Dr. Robert Malone. “I think there are many in the legal profession that are looking at this and raising questions about whether, in fact, this does meet the criteria of fraud in terms of withholding information.” I sit down with Dr. Malone, co-founder of the International Alliance of Physicians and Medical Scientists, to discuss the Global COVID Summit's recent declaration to “end the national emergency, restore scientific integrity, and address crimes against humanity.” Watch this interview at- https://youtu.be/yZfBC6Pnblo 33,981 views Oct 26, 2022 American Thought Leaders - The Epoch Times 348K subscribers ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *This episode originally premiered on
Dr. Paul Marik: Spike-Related Diseases, Gaslighting of the Vaccine Injured, and the Suppression of Early Treatment American Thought Leaders Oct 27 2022 “The spike protein is probably one of the most toxic proteins the human body has ever seen. … If you have long COVID, you absolutely want to avoid being vaccinated.” Today I sit down with Dr. Paul Marik, one of the most highly published critical care physicians in the world. He's a co-founder of the Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance. “If we had adopted, as a number of countries have done, early, widespread, early treatment, we could have controlled and ended this pandemic in the middle of 2020,” says Marik. “But they don't want you to know about this. They want you to stay at home, get sick, and then go to the hospital. It's an outrage.” We discuss Marik's views on the corruption of medicine, from the suppression of off-label drugs to the manipulation of safety data to the gaslighting of the vaccine injured. “I used to think that what you read in the medical journals was the truth… We know now that that's completely false.” Please SUBSCRIBE
Today we're talking to Bob Woodson Sr. founder and president of the Woodson Center, an organization that aims to help grassroots leaders in the black community find real, practical solutions to poverty and crime in their communities. We talk about some of the myths about American history that the Left promotes to convince people that America is a white supremacist nation and what the actual historical facts are. Mr. Woodson also talks a bit about his faith and how Christianity plays a role in the work that the Woodson Center does. Then, we discuss specifically how Christian women can overcome divisive leftist rhetoric and find real solutions to America's problems. --- Today's Sponsors: Good Ranchers delivers steakhouse quality beef, chicken & great seafood right to your door, plus you can lock in your price when you subscribe!
