The plan, drafted and advanced with collaboration across public and private partnerships, provides stakeholders with vital information to enable a safe, efficient, and sustainable transportation system through the national, widespread deployment of interoperable V2X technologies. Brian talks about what agencies need to do to implement the plan, the short- and long-term goals of the plan, and available resources for implementation. He also touches on the Accelerator Grants and pilot projects that have resulted in real deployments of V2X at-scale, and talks about what the future may look like with full deployment of V2X.

Enjoy, we hope! “Season's Greetings” (December 14, 1987) Perhaps you haven't heard of Frank's Place. All the incentive you need for this episode is that Frank's Place is that it won Emmys, it won critical praise, and it's still remembered today as a showcase for a type of black American who wasn't often depicted on the small screen. Despite all that, it only lasted a single season. Brian Cronin joins us to discuss perhaps the only sitcom episode to feature a Hanukkah dinner ruined by a coming out. The Riddler, a one-off villain in a Bill Finger/Dick Sprang comic book story in 1948, languished for nearly two decades until, in 1965, Gardner Fox and Sheldon Moldoff happened to bring him back… just as a certain TV producer, William Dozier, was researching the idea of making a Batman TV show. Riddler ended up in the premiere episode, played by Frank Gorshin, and Gorshin was nominated for an Emmy for the role. Thus was the Riddler cemented as one of Batman’s greatest foes. So the ’66 show is responsible for The Riddler’s prominence, but didn’t it also determine some specifics of the character? How he acts? How he dresses? How he talks? The show’s influence over how the Riddler was played lasted decades. In this episode, we’re joined by a voice actor who met Gorshin and has played several versions of the Riddler himself, Wally Wingert, to discuss these aspects of the Riddler, and explore the approach of his alter-ego, Frank Gorshin. The Abbot Marathon Majors are Tokyo, Boston, London, Berlin, Chicago and the NYC Marathon. Brian Cronin started running a few years ago to get into shape. He signed up for his first marathon in his mother's memory who died from Cancer. This year he set the goal to run all six of the Abbott Marathon Majors in 2016 and also to raise $50,000 as he did that. We talk about how he got into each of these very competitive races.
