2334: The Future of Generative AI in the Workplace. My Interview With an AI-Generated Human.

The Tech Blog Writer Podcast

Over the past few weeks, we've heard many experts and leaders share their thoughts about the impact of generative AI on the future of work and the global workforce. While there are many opinions on this controversial topic, I wanted to gain a unique perspective - what does AI have to say about working alongside humans and being called a co-pilot or a tool? Inspired by a recent podcast interview with Christoph Trappe, I was inspired to perform a technological experiment by interviewing ChatGPT 4, a language model trained by OpenAI, to learn more about generative AI and the future of its impact in the workplace. So, instead of asking a human guest, I asked the AI model and recorded its responses. To add an extra layer of depth to the conversation, I then used Synthesia to create an AI-generated avatar and provided it with the answers from ChatGPT 4. This allowed me to bring the words of AI to life. After recording the interview, I used Descript to transcribe the video and edit it like a document. This allowed me to rearrange the content to ensure it flowed well and was easy to follow. Overall, this approach allowed me to explore a fascinating topic unique way to provide insights from the perspective of AI. Although the outcome was slightly flawed, it offers food for thought on where this technology is heading and the new opportunities it could unlock.   In my conversation with Mark, the generative AI guest did offer valuable insights into the potential of human-AI collaboration in the workplace. But it's essential to understand the capabilities and limitations of generative AI models and approach AI as a collaborative tool that can augment human capabilities rather than replace them. By focusing on collaboration, remaining informed about the latest advancements in AI research and best practices, and embracing lifelong learning, workers can alleviate their concerns and create a productive and rewarding partnership with generative AI. Ultimately, this partnership has the potential to unlock unprecedented levels of creativity, innovation, and problem-solving, driving positive change across various domains. As AI technologies continue to evolve, it will be interesting to see how the human-AI relationship develops and how it will shape the future of work. The experiment with Mark offers a glimpse into this future and highlights the potential for a world that thrives on the combined strengths of both human intelligence and artificial intelligence. The phrase "With great power comes great responsibility" is especially relevant when it comes to the use of technology. It requires a forward-thinking mindset where everyone considers the future implications of their actions. This means moving away from the "move fast and break things" mentality and taking a more cautious approach. If we fail to do so, we risk behaving like small children with a very dangerous box of toys, playing with them recklessly and without regard for the consequences. However, Mark said it best when he advised, "AI presents both opportunities and challenges for humans. On the one hand, these AI models can be incredibly valuable for automating tasks, enhancing human creativity, and solving complex problems across various industries. But, on the other hand, by working together, AI and humans can complement each other's strengths and achieve better outcomes than either could independently." We all must recognize the potential impact of our actions and work together to ensure that technology is used responsibly and for the betterment of society. So how will you leverage technology to augment human creativity, help solve complex problems and improve the workplace?

The Intersection Between Marketing and CX Shep Hyken interviews Christoph Trappe, a digital and content marketer and the author of Is Marketing A Good Career? He talks about how marketing can support customer experience and success teams to ensure the brand story resonates with customers throughout their journey. Top Takeaways:   ·      Customer experience, including customer service, is marketing. Create an experience that gests people to say, "I'll be back," and makes them want to share it with others.   ·      Understand what your customers want and deliver consistently. Customers usually have many options. When your product is available in other places, customer experience becomes the differentiator that determines if your customers continue to do business with you or move on to your competitors.   ·      Every company has a story - what they are about, how they work, and what kind of experience their customers can expect of them. Marketing must tell that story to the customer support team so everybody in the company can embody that story.   ·      The frontline customer service and sales reps dealing directly with your customers are part of your marketing department.   ·      Your best marketing campaign comes from customers who have had an experience with your business and tell people about it.   ·      Social media managers are more involved in customer service now than they used to be in years past. Make sure your brand's story is shared with your social media team – and everyone else in the company.   ·       Plus, Christophe (content marketer) and Shep (customer service and experience expert) each share their definition of what a brand is. Tune in!  Quote:  "Marketing is not just about getting people in the door. Marketing is about supporting customer experience and success."     About:   Christoph Trappe is the Director of Content Strategy at Voxpopme. He is a digital and content marketer and author. You regular listeners are probably wondering what's up with an episode drop on a Thursday. We've gotten into a nice weekly rhythm here on Winfluence. But today, I have a treat for you. We're going to drop in on an episode from The Business Storytelling Podcast hosted by my friend Christoph Trappe. He's a smart content marketing guy who, as his show's title might imply, focuses on storytelling for brands and businesses. I was going through his old episodes and found a really good one I thought you should hear, so I reached out and we agreed to each air an episode of each other's shows to our respective audiences.  His and my hope is that if you like his show you hear today, you'll jump over and subscribe so you don't miss a future episode of The Business Storytelling Podcast, too. It's worth adding that to your feed, for sure. Now, the episode I wanted you to hear is actually a couple of years old, but it's with Rachel Miller of SAP. She is a brand-side innovator and thought leader in the influencer marketing space. Christoph and Rachel talk about influencer marketing overall, but then get into the ins and outs of B2B influencers, big brand influencer programs and beyond. It's a useful listen, so we'll drop that in on today's show.  Folks if you haven't heard, well you haven't been listening. But Tagger is one fine influencer marketing platform. They are our presenting sponsor and man, does Tagger come in handy for me. I actually sat out to find creators in a very odd and specific niche last week, but instead of going straight to Tagger's discovery tab and searching for a keyword or topic, I went to its Signals feature. This is where you can drop that keyword or set of keywords and see how much chatter about that brand or topic is out there on the web, then identify the influential voices talking about it. That gives you a head start on finding the more right influencers for your brand or project. I could go on, but you know I use Tagger every day for the influence strategies I work on for my clients. In this episode we talk with Christoph Trappe, Chief Content Officer at The Authentic Storytelling Project. He explores how livestreaming can be an effective way in forging strong relationships with your audience and how it can be used to help your organization craft omnichannel content.   We went offline for a long time during the pandemic. This episode was pre-recorded in 2021. Forging New Relationships As content marketers, how do we continue to build authenticity and sincerity in our audience relationships? One way to do this is by incorporating livestreaming in your omnichannel strategy. Through livestreaming, you can build audience trust and participation in real time.  Livestreams, Content Creation, and You Livestreamed content can be used to build content among many different channels, and this can start from the beginning of the content creation process. For example, instead of private informational interviews with subject matter experts, why not livestream your discussion for your target audiences? From there, that content can be published as a podcast, turned into articles, email campaigns, and other formats.

Welcome back to another episode with Christoph Trappe. In the last episode, we discussed how to start live streaming. In today's episode, we're going to get specific with six steps we can take to start live streaming. Why Is Live Streaming Taking Off? Live streaming is taking off for many reasons. From the streamer's side, companies are looking for ways to stand out, and live streams are a great way to do that, especially if the streamer has a personality that stands out. They're also fairly easy to produce; I could go live within a few minutes of deciding to do it if I wanted to. It's another opportunity to reach and engage with people, and most major platforms have a way for us to do it. Read more at: https://monetizationnation.com/blog/6-steps-to-start-live-streaming/

It discusses how to get more out of your podcast and content strategy, particularly through live streaming. In today's episode, we're going to dive deep into leveraging live streaming. We'll also discuss Christoph's career, technology, and how to know if we're producing “CRAP”. What is Live Streaming? At the basic level, live streaming means broadcasting on the internet, typically to social media. Most social media platforms have a way for users to live stream on them. What do people do while live streaming? It could be a podcast, interview, event, unboxing, or the streamer might be playing a video game, talking about products, answering questions, etc. There are many options for what to do while live streaming; it all depends on who the streamer is, what they are an expert in, and what their audience wants. Today's episode of the podcast is an interview with Christoph Trappe who is a digital based brand strategist. Christoph has been named as a top content creator, digital marketer and thought leader. Christoph is a journalistic story teller and we talk all about live streaming – how to tell a story and have confidence!   KEY TAKEAWAYS COVERED IN THE PODCAST  Journalistic story telling is telling the story around what people need to know in an engaging style – so people want to read it! Think about what you stand for and what is unique about you – this is what you need to focus on when you tell a story. If you are going to go live you have to be realistic and accept that things do and may go wrong! Before going live - think about what you are going to talk about and how you are going to talk about that topic. Aim for around 40 minutes for your live stream. Decide how often you will go live and commit to it. You have to get used to the idea that people may not show up. If you are streaming into a platform you use a lot, someone will most likely show up! You can stream in multiple places at one time. Try to do a solo episode if you are just starting so you can get used to it, then move on to interviews. It is a lot easier and more fun when you have guests! Going live is not as much prep work for you if you have less time.   THE ONE THING YOU NEED TO REMEMBER ABOVE ALL ELSE…  Don't overthink it, don't feel bad and just keep pushing forward.  HIGHLIGHTS YOU SIMPLY CAN'T MISS  An Introduction to Christoph 02:25 What is journalistic story telling? 03:31 How to tell stories for your business 05:52 Going Live Book 09:42 Things that could go wrong 11:34 Getting started with live streaming 19:05 What if people don't show up? 22:47 Should you go live in multiple locations? 25:29 Solo vs interview 30:15   CHECK CHRISTOPH OUT:  http://authenticstorytelling.net/ (Website) https://fb.com/ctrappe (Facebook) https://instagram.com/christophtrappe (Instagram)   RESOURCES MENTIONED  https://www.amazon.com/Going-live-Live-stream-podcast-people-ebook/dp/B08TW3J3YX?dchild=1&keywords=going+live+christoph+trappe.&qid=1612027452&sr=8-1&linkCode=sl1&tag=theauthstor09-20&linkId=e5eb3a5f872712f03079531ae9939abb&language=en_US&ref_=as_li_ss_tl (Going Live Book)   Transcript Below  Hello and a really warm welcome to this week's episode of the podcast. How are you doing? So as I'm recording this, the sun is shining. My windows are open and the birds are singing. How very grateful I am for a lovely sunny day. Because honestly I just miss the sun so much. If you're not in the UK, then. And you don't know what our weather is like, we do, you know, we have nice summers, but it's not as nice as California, which obviously it's sunny all the time.   And because haven't been to chapel we've had, what's felt like a really long winter. Anyway, also that was such a precious thing to do. Talk about the weather. I'm not here to give you a weather rundown. So this week I've got a podcast interview for you. I'm interviewing Christoph Trappe who is a US based digital brand strategist.   He has been picked as one of the top 14 content marketers and a top 24 digital marketers. And we go into the kind of conversations around how easy is it to be a storyteller and what sort of things you needs to do as well as some of the confidence in livestreaming.   So I think this should be a really good one. I am a big fan of telling stories. If you receive my emails, you will know I am. Uh, I like to explain things in a story because I think you understand them better. Anyway, I'm just going to let you dive straight in. I feel like I should intro more, but I think we're good.   I'm going to link off to everything in the

Is your marketing team expecting to see unrealistic returns on a stand alone piece of content? Have you spent thousands of dollars from your budget on one white paper or one article?  Content performance is about the long game.  A Content Marketing Thought Leader, Podcast Host, the Author of Content Performance Culture, and the Chief Content & Strategy Officer of The Authentic Storytelling Project, Christoph Trappe, challenges marketers to broaden their strategy and realize that great content marketing is not reached with just a one and done approach.   Takeaways: Be open to using newer content mediums such as podcasts and video. These mediums are authentic and can be less time consuming than the written word that has to go through several edits. When creating content, consider if the keywords used are what your buyers are searching for. If not, then your content will not be found. When measuring the success of your content, be sure to set a realistic goal. Think about the size of your current audience and take that into consideration when looking at engagement. Before writing a book, think about what your brand is known for to start. Using the content from previous blog articles can help provide a starting point for the content. If you have already written a book, think about turning the content into a podcast where you discuss the topic of each chapter.  Career Advice from Christoph - Learn a skill that will always be useful and transferrable for something. For example, writing, storytelling, and coding.    Links: LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/christophtrappe/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/CTrappe Company: https://authenticstorytelling.net/ The Business Storytelling Podcast: https://authenticstorytelling.net/podcast-links/ Content Performance Culture Book: https://www.amazon.com/Content-Performance-Culture-Christoph-Trappe-ebook/dp/B0821TZM1H   Busted Myths: Content marketing can be done successfully as a one and done approach. - This is NOT the case, content marketing is a long-term strategy that needs to be done across several channels, with ongoing adjustments, and provide answers to questions that your buyers have.
