The owners of Country Jam bought a beautiful new property a few years ago and had the idea to create a whole new music festival to share the space in the summer and so Reverb Music Festival was born with 2023 being it's first year. Saturday August 17th will feature another great year of emo/pop punk bands including Amber Pacific, Emery, Secondhand Serenade, Anberlin, Hawthorne Heights, Story of the Year, and Yellowcard. In this episode we discuss what goes on behind the scenes to make music festivals possible, stories for Reverb 2023, why 2024 will be even better, what music festivals bring to a community, why live music is so important, and much more.

During lockdown we have been taking the podcasts LIVE TO FACEBOOK to talk to artists and people in the industry as we all cope with this pandemic. Sasha McVeigh joins us live to talk about the effect on the music community of the devastating tornado in Nashville just weeks before the pandemic and nationwide lockdown and she plays us her CMT featured hit "Rock Bottom". Sasha McVeigh was born to be on the stage. The British singer/songwriter has been singing from the moment she could talk and performing from the moment she could walk. She garnered a love of country music from her father who, as she says “used to dance me around the coffee table to CMT” and her true flair for the genre came when she started writing songs at age 12. Being from the UK, Sasha spent a lot of time traveling back and forth to Nashville when she finished school in 2012; honing her craft, building a catalogue of original songs and playing back to back shows. In 2014, she was asked to perform for The Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas, alongside Hunter Hayes and Cole Swindell. She has performed on the main stage at some of the biggest country music festivals in the US, including Country Stampede, Country Jam and Taste of Country Festival, with the likes of Eric Church, Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean. For months, we've been trying to come up with a podcast...and we realized this entire time, we're just completely unprepared for it. B-Dub decided to just start recording after the show this afternoon (6/17) and it could have been a lot worse. On this episode we cover our trip up to Country Jam, how many different podcast names, and somehow we ended up talking about poop. Everyone does it, right?
Belinda bought a 6-pack of Country Jam tickets and she thought she was about to have to double pay after talking to Woody.
Jason Aldean is headlining our Country Jam and Campout August 16th and a festival like this reminds him of one specific show he attended back in the day. He also talked to us about why he moved out of his house when his isn't even done being built.

Get ready for another episode of “Inside Music Row!” This week we find out more about the writers behind the hot song “Chillin’ It”, Jarrod Niemann celebrates another number one hit.. plus we find out how one Christian group is making a name for themselves in the country circles, and Miranda Lambert makes history…when we go “Inside Music Row”. The Broken Bow artist is set to release his sophomore album “Where It’s At” September 9th. He recently told Rolling Stone Country that this is a highly personal album…showcasing his life over the past two years. Of course Dustin has had an incredible time opening for superstar Keith Urban on his “Light the Fuse” tour in 2013 saying he learned a lot from watching Keith’s energy on stage. Listen for the lead single “Where It’s At” currently out on radio. It is the end of an era. The last edition of the Ladies Home Journal was published for July/August and guess who was on the cover? Miranda Lambert! She talks about how she lost weight and got fit, but also admits she is not a good role model. She says she likes to drink and cuss and get tatoos. But of course that is why so many fans love her and clearly Blake doesn’t mind either. Grand Junction, Colorado was the place to be for this year’s Country Jam! Brantley Gilbert, Lady A, Eric Church and Jake Owen were a part of the festivities and it was just announced that Tim McGraw will be a headliner for Country Jam 2015. Speaking of Tim, he released his new single “Meanwhile Back at Mama’s”… a duet with his lovely bride Faith Hill. The song is one that talks about his life on stage versus his life on his quiet farm in Franklin, TN. Tim’s 13 studio album “Sundown Heaven Town” will be released September 16th. He is currently out on the road promoting that upcoming album with Kip Moore and Cassadee Pope.
