Tune in here to this Tuesday's edition of Breaking With Brett Jensen! Breaking with Brett Jensen kicks the show off by talking about the political chaos and legal battle unfolding in Cabarrus County. A lawsuit was filed challenging the sudden appointment of a new county commissioner without the resignation of commissioner Chris Measmer, who was appointed to a state senate seat. A judge issued a temporary restraining order, halting the swearing-in of the new commissioner due to concerns of “irreparable harm” and possible violations of state law. Brett is joined by Mark Garrison, who highlights how Measmer previously opposed the very maneuver he just pulled. Brett and Mark also discuss Cabarrus GOP leaders in chair Lanny Lancaster and vice chair Jim Quick, who have been accused of manipulating the process and retaliating against fellow Republicans who oppose their selection to the commission. The situation has left the county commission under scrutiny, with residents demanding transparency and open government. A follow-up hearing will be held within 10 days. Jensen also is also joined by WBTV Reporter David Hodges to discuss how the long-standing internal battles within the Cabarrus County Republican Party have led to the current controversy. The tension traces back to disputes involving former commissioner Steve Morris, who lost his seat following a lengthy SBI investigation that was later dismissed. The two the discuss the issues facing locals in counties surrounding Mecklenburg that have divided many of the same political party. Tune in here to this Thursday's edition of Breaking With Brett Jensen! Breaking Brett Jensen kicks the show off by talking about allegations against North Carolina Lieutenant Governor Mark Robinson, who is running for governor. CNN reported that Robinson made inappropriate comments in a pornographic chat room and has connections to an email linked to Ashley Madison. Robinson denies these claims, arguing they are a smear campaign. Jensen notes the potential political fallout, including how Democrats may use this to challenge Republican endorsements of Robinson. He compares the situation to past political scandals in North Carolina and highlights the state's tendency for split-ticket voting. Overall, he remains skeptical about the long-term impact on Robinson's campaign as the election approaches. The conversation shifts to an investigation by David Hodges from WBTV, focusing on Magistrate Ashley Blackwell, who is accused of unethical behavior, including having inappropriate relationships with defendants and potential conflicts of interest. Hodges provides updates on the ongoing investigation, emphasizing the seriousness of the allegations. Tune in here to this Tuesday's edition of Breaking With Brett Jensen! Breaking Brett Jensen kicks the show off by introducing David Hodges, a reporter from WBTV, whom he highly praises for his investigative work, especially regarding the magistrate system. and The primary focus is on the magistrate system in Mecklenburg County. Magistrates are judicial officers who handle various legal matters, including setting bail, issuing warrants, and presiding over small claims cases. David Hodges shares his investigative work on the magistrate system, explaining how he discovered issues with magistrates' qualifications, training, and potential misconduct. He recounts a specific case where a magistrate was involved in unethical behavior, including relationships with criminal defendants and misusing her position. Jensen and Hodges discuss the minimal qualifications required to become a magistrate in North Carolina, including having just a GED and some experience in the clerk of court's office or holding a two-year degree. They express concern over the lack of legal training for magistrates who hold significant power in the justice system. Listen here for all of this and more on Breaking With Brett Jensen.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Tune in here to this Thursdays edition of Breaking With Brett Jensen! Breaking Brett Jensen kicks the show off by talking about Magistrates and their Competence: Jensen expresses frustration with the magistrates in Mecklenburg County, criticizing their competence and the minimal requirements needed to become one (such as only having a GED). He feels that magistrates have significant power in deciding legal matters like bonds and custody, yet their qualifications and training are insufficient. He highlights a recent WBTV investigation led by David Hodges that reveals issues with magistrates, including their lack of legal expertise and potential for abuse. Hodges reports that magistrates are not required to have law degrees and can sometimes make arbitrary decisions that impact people's lives significantly. Jensen is particularly critical of magistrates' lack of accountability and their ability to make decisions without public scrutiny. CMPD and International Crime Ring: Jensen covers a press conference by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD) about busting an international crime ring involving South American criminals. The crime ring targeted wealthy homes and operated across multiple states and countries. He describes how the CMPD's press conference revealed details about the suspects, who are Colombian nationals and were involved in numerous break-ins. The crimes were characterized by daytime burglaries, targeting homes when they were unoccupied, and using high-visibility clothing to blend in with construction or lawn care work. RFK Jr.'s Potential Endorsement of Trump: Jensen discusses the political implications if RFK Jr. were to endorse Donald Trump. He notes that betting odds have shifted in Trump's favor following speculation about such an endorsement. Jensen believes that Trump performs better in elections than polls suggest, partly because many Trump supporters may not openly admit their choice due to social pressures. He contrasts this with the current state of the Democratic race, criticizing Kamala Harris's chances and suggesting that she is unlikely to win North Carolina, which traditionally leans Republican. Miscellaneous Points: Jensen reflects on his personal interest in gambling, including sports and political betting. He critiques the accuracy of political polls and emphasizes that Trump has historically outperformed polls. He also teases upcoming segments about a controversial report from Queen City News and further details on the CMPD's press conference. David has recently been working on a cross-functional project at Thales that aims to change mindset at an organisational level in the area of experience vs. potential when hiring both internally or externally. In the podcast we cover: What David has learnt about how "experience" is used in candidate selection Why David became interested in challenging the overriding use of experience as criteria in candidate assessment How hiring managers can improve their skills in candidate selection Which individuals may gain advantage via their experience rather than their ability Why experience is no longer a valid indicator of future performance in the VUCA landscape Which criteria outside of experience will grow in relevance in the coming years www.alexanderlloyd.co.uk https://www.linkedin.com/in/simongeerehrrecruitment/

Deception Deception Radio Network Presents Fire and Grace with Pastor Dean Odle The Jesuit Deception of Preterism June 20, 2017 edition of Prophecy Quake...a look at the false eschatology called "Preterism." It teaches that there are NOT ANY Bible prophecies today that point forward to the return of Jesus Christ. They claim that Jesus came in 70 AD and thus all of Matthew 24 and Luke 21 were fulfilled then. They teach that the church has replaced Israel and God is done with the Jews. They also claim that the whole world saw Jesus come in the clouds in 70 AD and that we are already in the eternal age where everything is getting better and better by being "Christianized" by the influence of Christians. Sadly, this error has been embraced by many parts of the church but especially in the Charismatic movement where it has been called "Kingdom Now" or "Dominion Theology." It has also been called the "Seven Mountain Mandate" and many other names. It is the idea that the church will transform the world and make it wonderful BEFORE the return of Jesus Christ. However, this doctrine was started by a Jesuit priest in the early 1600s to deceive Protestants and protect the Roman Catholic Whore of Babylon. Fire and Grace with Pastor Dean Odle can be heard on ITunes, YouTube, Spreaker, Podkicker, Instagram, Twitter, Google+, FaceBook and anywhere podcasts can be listened to.
