Dave Morin is a multifaceted entrepreneur, investor, and philanthropist. His early career was at Apple, and he then went on to work for Mark Zukerberg at Facebook as one of the original 200 employees (employee #29!) that co-created the Facebook Platform and Facebook Connect. He built his own social media platform called Path after that (which he has since sold) and founded a venture capital firm called Offline Ventures. Morin serves as Chairman of the Esalen Institute, the leading center for exploring and realizing human potential through experience, education, and research. He is also a Co-Founder & Chairman of Sunrise, a foundation whose mission is to cure depression, reduce suffering, and understand the brain, and he serves as Co-Owner and Board Member of Dwell, the award-winning, category-defining digital media and magazine company serving the global community of architecture and design.
