In this episode, Ric talks about the ups and downs of internet broadcasting thanks to a recent exploration into the numbers that drive the business of show business, analytics. The wild west of the internet is still very much without form or real function but the notion of content as king kind of gets turned on its end when you realize just what the real commodity of the internet is. The real lesson learned is this, just because you are "on demand" doesn't mean you are "in demand". Subtle, but quite accurate. Even before Eddie Cotton officiated the Mike Tyson vs. Lennox Lewis fight in 2002 in Memphis, Tennessee, he was legend in Paterson, New Jersey. Cotton, who served as the first black president of the Paterson City Council, died early this morning at the age of 72. He had been hospitalized for more than a week after contracting the coronavirus. Paterson public historian Jimmy Richardson says Cotton was extremely popular in town. "We grew up on the same street, Governor Street, and remained friends since the early 1970's. We had a lot of things in common. Ed Cotton was one of the most popular men in the City of Paterson. Our conversation with Johnathon Banks who trains Wladimir Klitschko. Wladimir Klitschko fights  2012 - Banks stopped undefeated top contender Seth Mitchell, 25-1-1 (19KO’s), on Saturday, November 17, 2012 in the second round at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey on HBO World Championship Boxing. While in Klitschko’s camp in Austria, Banks, 30, of Detroit, was doing four training sessions ...
