It was an exciting and wild weekend of action as the Jake Paul-Mike Tyson bout finally happened in North Texas, but the co-feature fight was the bigger action/drama. Meanwhile half way around the world in Saudi Arabia Gilberto "Zurdo" Ramirez was impressive to become unified at cruiserweight. And, we are ready to recap it all on the 'Fight Freaks Unite Recap Podcast."Host T.J. Rives and insider Dan Rafael of his Fight Freaks Unite Substack and Newsletter are raring to go.They begin with the obvious problems that Netflix had in their first ever live boxing venture as millions and millions of fans eperienced techinal difficulties streaming the fight. And, what does it mean for the streamer and it's fight future, etc. Then, the guys get to the long anticipated Paul meeting with "Iron Mike," which went about as expected with Tyson being largley worn out after the second or third round and Paul got the easy decision. Dan has thoughts on the spectacle and on where both guys go from here?Next, T.J. is FROSTY at what he believes was a robbery decision of Amanda Serrano being denied a rematch win against Katie Taylor for the undisputed women's 140 lb. crowns. And, he's got lots of data on the incompetent judging late in the fight. He and Dan debate. And, they talk about Mario Barrios struggling to defend his welterweight title. The guys turn to the "Latino Night" card in Saudi Arabia for Golden Boy Boxing and Riyadh Season, as Zurdo dominated Chris Billam-Smith for the unified cruiserweight title by easy decision. Ramirez really pounded CBS in the back half of the fight. Dan has more on the potential next fights for Zurdo. They also recap a very compelling undercard that saw Oscar Collazo score a KO to unify at strawweight, William Zepeda struggle with Tevin Farmer and a lackluster co-main.There's fight news on the announced David Benavidez-David Morrell February PPV for Vegas and the undercard. And, Matchroom also has a looming January Vegas show that will likely feature Diego Pacheco. And, finally, some nostalgia on Lennox Lewis regaining his heavyweight belts by booming KO over Hasim Rahman 23 years ago this weekend and Roy Jones dominating James Toney 30 years ago, as well. It's all on the "Fight Freaks Unite Recap Podcast" and make sure to follow/subscribe to this feed on Apple/Spreaker/Spotify, etc.!

Robert Winfree and Mark Radulich look at all the great fights in boxing history. This time they are presenting their Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk Review.Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk, billed as Ring of Fire, was a heavyweight professional boxing match contested between WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury and unified WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, IBO, and The Ring heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk for the undisputed heavyweight championship. It was scheduled to take place on 17 February 2024 at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, then postponed due to a facial injury sustained by Fury in training. It was rescheduled the next day and took place on 18 May 2024 at the same venue. Usyk won by split decision.Usyk broke down in tears in the ring after his victory was announced and dedicated it to his family, his team, and the people of Ukraine. After the fight, Fury commented: "I believe he won a few of the rounds but I won the majority of them … His country's at war, so people are siding with the country at war, but make no mistake, I won that fight … I'll be back. I've got a rematch clause." Fury raised the possibility of a rematch "in October", and eventually declared: "Happy New Year!" Usyk responded to Fury, stating, "If he wants, I'm ready for a rematch." Usyk suffered a suspected broken jaw from the bout and went to the hospital after his press conference.Along with Usyk's team, a few commentators, like TNT Sports' David Haye, felt Usyk was robbed by the referee of a win by technical knockout in the ninth round. Usyk's win made him the first new undisputed heavyweight champion in 24 years. Lennox Lewis held the title for five months after he defeated Evander Holyfield in November 1999. In a post-match analysis, analysts wrote that Usyk's hall of fame case is "beyond cemented" and that he is an all-time great after his win. Two-division undisputed champion Terence Crawford, ESPN's top-ranked pound for pound boxer, declared Usyk a candidate for the No. 1 position. The tentatively scheduled rematch is set for 12 October 2024.Disclaimer: The following may contain offensive language, adult humor, and/or content that some viewers may find offensive – The views and opinions expressed by any one speaker does not explicitly or necessarily reflect or represent those of Mark Radulich or W2M Network.Mark Radulich and his wacky podcast on all the things:https://linktr.ee/markkind76alsoFB Messenger: Mark Radulich LCSWTiktok: @markradulichtwitter: @MarkRadulichInstagram: markkind76

MICHAEL FRANZESE UK TOUR TICKETS: http://tiny.cc/MF-remademan Sitdowns with Gangsters book: https://geni.us/SitdownswithGangsters Shaun Attwood's LinkTree: https://linktr.ee/shaunattwood By the age of 24, Big Joe Egan had over 80 boxing wins, 7 Irish titles and was a Golden Gloves champion. A mean body puncher with a durable chin, he went the distance with Lennox Lewis and beat future WBA champion Bruce Seldon. Encouraged by Floyd Patterson to try his luck in the USA, Joe joined ‘Iron' Mike Tyson's training camp in the Catskill mountains with the great Cus D'Amato. Joe became like a brother to Mike, and, in this book, he gives a rare insight of the early Tyson, who after sparring with Joe described him as the Toughest White Man on the Planet. In the UK, opening a pub pitted Joe against protection racketeers. Armed with guns, axes and machetes, the organised-crime gang attacked Joe's pub. During a battle worthy of Braveheart, Joe and his friends stood their ground, and Joe was shot. Tragically, Joe was charged with attempted murder.
Joe Egan talks to True Geordie about his upcoming fight with John Fury. His life in boxing around Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis, Cus D'Amato and Muhammad Ali. I've been using Supreme CBD over a month now and it's brilliant for anxiety/depression any aches/pains or insomnia . The hype is real

Hasim 'The Rock' Rahman shocked the world when he knocked out Lennox Lewis to become the lineal world heavyweight champion. His name was etched in the history books alongside the likes of Johnson, Luis, Marciano, Ali and Holmes as The Man who beat The Man, before he lost the crown back to Lewis in a rematch. Rahman had a long, decorated career with plenty of incident packed in. Having survived shootings on the streets of Baltimore, his life hit a crossroads and he focused on boxing. He would go on to fight David Tua, Oleg Maskaev, Lewis twice, John Ruiz, Wladimir Klistchko, James Toney, Corrie Sanders and many more in his career that spanned 50 wins, nine losses with two draws.
